Overall this is a great place with good food, drinks of all sorts (decent espresso drinks too). I'm taking a break from alcohol right now, BUT the beer selection here is truly top tier. Service was pretty decent, ambiance is cool too. This place can get pretty crowded during the summer during peak hours, I would try to plan your visit off peak times if at all possible.

    Epic pulled pork grilled cheese!

Absolutely the best pulled pork sandwich (grilled cheese)! The drinks hit the spot and the good was fresh and delicious! Great views and good people, highly recommended! Great waitstaff as well, very positive and good vibes. We will be back!

What a cozy spot!! Gorgeous, stormy water views by the fire!

What a cozy local gem!! We had just landed after a long day of transiting, it was pouring rain, we were starving and looking for a nice local spot to feast - and we hit the jackpot haha! Great food, awesome service, super relaxing vibe with all the Christmas decor and a nice fire going, with views of the water along one of the many fingers of the Puget Sound - what more could you ask for? To start we ordered the Thai Curry & Red Lentil Soup off their special Christmas time menu, as well as the Cheesy Garlic Bread with both the marinara and beer cheese sauces (usually only comes with one but you can get both for an additional cost). The garlic bread was good but that soup was phenomenal!! Great texture and so full of balanced flavors - AND it comes with a beautifully toasted biscuit - omg it was so delicious and comforting- we didn't even really need the garlic bread but were feeling gluttonous lol! They have quite a large taco menu with some unique and interesting flavors so for our mains we shared two sets of tacos - they come in sets of 3 or 4 with choice of tortilla or lettuce. We got 3 of the sweet chili shrimp tacos with flour tortillas and 3 of the Thai peanut chicken tacos with lettuce shells - they were so delicious that we devoured them before I remembered to take pics haha!! Their meats and toppings are all fresh and flavorful and the shrimp were grilled to perfection - some of the best tacos I've had! Our server was very attentive and so friendly! They were playing the BEST selection of music - true old school Seattle grunge - I was in heaven haha! They have a large tap menu of local brews and even a huge store inside full of bottled and canned brews that you can take home OR bring back to your table and drink as you please. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality. Theres a few limited parking spots right out front but there's also a public lot immediately behind the bevco that's paid parking.

Great tap room close to the water in PO. We went in October and had their pretzel as an appetizer and it was a lot! But delicious. The pork grilled cheese with mac and cheese was amazing. They put bacon and chives on the Mac and Cheese. My wife's review of the steak nachos, "they were ok." Great service and suggestions for the beer and the food...also plenty of TV's for a relaxed atmosphere and great music.

Biscuits and Gravy with hollandaise and poorly seasoned potatoes
    Zach S.

The food here is sadly average, the potatoes are barely seasoned despite being cooked well so that they are crisp but soft. The Hollandaise gets lost in the gravy to where you barely get that sour kick your after. Biscuits and sausage were at least good but the gravy and again seasoning on the egg is lacking. Not only that but they charged me 20 bucks and an additional charge for coffee which somehow does not come with breakfast at that price. Plus their coffee tastes like bland burnt beans, you may as well go to Coffee Oasis down the street. Service was good, and the ambience was ok. It's setup to be both diner and bar/brewery. My recommendation, give this restaurant some growing time, it has potential but it ain't there yet.

No it is 21+ AND it should really be listed on their website on the first page somewhere so that people don't plan to come there and find out it's over 21. An easy fix IMO.

It seems to be a favorite place for families to gather during those times, which can make finding a seat difficult. By early evening, most folks have cleared out, and it's pretty empty as the 9:00 hour approaches. We particularly like sitting upstairs since there's pinball close by (four machines), which we used quite a bit on our last visit. And, of course, there's their beer, which I love. My favorite is the Eagle Harbor IPA, their signature West Coast IPA. Their Kömmuter Kölsch is also one of my favorites (and likewise my girlfriend's favorite). I frequently buy cans of both to take home (which you can also buy at the Safeway on High School Road, and at the alehouse on Winslow near the ferry terminal).

Would love to come back next time I'm in the neighborhood!

Attention: Improper Food Temperature Holding…read more We were excited to see a Brunch Buffet come to Bremerton, since Covid it has been hard to find them anymore and we were excited to go check it out. However, they have some huge errors that they need to correct. I have managed multiple food establishments before and it always concerns me when I see unsafe food practices. This place is NOT safe to eat at for the Bruch Buffet as it stands currently. They did not have the canned heat lit underneath the Buffet containers, in fact one of the containers didn't even have one at all underneath it. I figured that it was a small error and they just couldn't see it. So I let the gal at the front know, she went and told the guy who was in charge of manning and refilling the buffet station. He said something that sounded like he was disregarding it. He never once went over to attempt to light them, check on them, and completely ignored them. We continued to watch as food kept coming out but no one was dealing with the issue of the food not being kept hot. There were people in line to get food so the lids remained off of the food, so the heat is coming out, there's no heat control from the bottom, the food is just quickly making it into the danger zone. Finally I went up again to talk to the front yet again, this time there were two gals up front. I told them again that no one had lit them, and that it's quickly becoming a severe food concern and a matter of public safety. One of the gals said, "Uhm, I think that someone is looking into this". They brushed me off and I could tell they were just lying to me saying someone was taking care of this issue... It's a fast fix, you just go over and investigate them, and light them. No one once had looked at them, they aren't "looking into this", this isn't an equipment malfunction, this is a basic requirement for Food sanitation to run a buffet line. By the time we left, no one still had come up to investigate or address the issue. This is extremely unsafe. It is disappointing that the reactions from staff also did not take this seriously. This shows me that they don't care about safe food practices in this establishment which is also a huge concern. I saw several people post online about the fact that they ran into the same concerns and issues today from service. Another person said they were told by a staff member "We went to the store and couldn't find more canned heat"... there are tons of stores with it. Fred Meyer down the way had them in stock. This just wasn't a concern for them, which is not okay for a food establishment. Proper protocol for a kitchen is if they realized they didn't have them, would have been to shut down the buffet for the day and cancel it until they could get the heat source working properly. Also the buffet started at 9am and the food wasn't fully out and ready for 30 minutes past that. It's a real shame because they have the potential to be a great place. We custom ordered omelets that tasted great, the food itself when it was hot tasted good. It lacked some seasoning but otherwise they have such great potential. However, they can't ignore proper food handling. They can't risk peoples health like that. Completely unsafe and unprofessional the way they handled that.
