What an amazing selections of drafts and Ciders on tap, the food is great and you can't beat the view

First time I've ever been to a Brewery that doesn't serve beer in a pint glass. My fault for assuming as normally a pint goes for $4-$6 so I figured this was going to be one great pint of beer. Not to mention the Lavender Cocktail I ordered must have had expired syrup, as the aftertaste was soul crushing. At least I had the food to look forward to! Not... I took one bite and sent it back, as I prefer my burger to be at least lukewarm, but my patty arrived cold and sad, resembling the atmosphere of this place.. Just told them to take it off the bill, don't even want the attempt of making another flop.. If I were a masochist, I would come here to voluntarily suffer. Seeing as I am not, however, means I will not be coming back and could never recommend this establishment to anyone, not even my enemies... read more

A great location and unknowing tourists keeps this business floating a little higher than the boats in the harbor. Walking in felt like a disturbance to the employees. The BLT was nothing special, unless you like burnt bacon, the flatbread pizza was devoid of any texture reminiscent of bread, and surely a happy meal will return a bigger and better burger. Stay ignorant and only stop by for a drink and the views. Maybe just a beer though, as I expect the same level of care will be put into the bartending. read more

Somehow I've never had a cocktail here I thought was good. One time I even went for a lemon drop, classic cocktail, no room for disappointment. It had nothing on the rim and wasn't quite sweet enough, just sour and dry. Maybe me and their mixologist simply have different tastes. We love the Thai peanut tacos, but sometimes the tortillas are old and leathery or falling apart. Today our entire order was cold: both orders of Thai peanut tacos + one order of bacon Gouda Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese has fantastic flavor, just disappointing it was lukewarm. My boyfriend enjoys choosing new beers from the rotating tap menu. We'll continue to support as local fans, love their smash burger too, just wish service was a little more consistent. read more

I am so impressed with Peninsula BevCo. We came on a Friday evening and they were having a live band so there was a $5 per person cover charge. The music was awesome and worth it. I had the bánh mì sandwich. The bread was not the typical fresh crusty bread, it was soft and pillowy HOWEVER the meat and toppings by far made up for it. It was so good we went back the next night and ordered the bánh mì tacos. Dare I say, even better!? I also commend them on actually using spicy jalapeños. Loved that we could see the pink sky of the sunset over the water and service was super friendly and attentive. Good beer too! read more

A group of us went there for lunch. Pro: nice view. Con: Everything else. Both the floor and table were sticky. One couple said they had traded tables because of the stickiness on the table. The floor was so sticky it made noise with every footstep and almost pulled my sandal off at one point. The food strived and mostly failed to be mediocre. The taco salad ($25 with chicken) was boring, and used cheap frozen chicken filets, which were very hard to cut through on the triangle plate without a good amount of salad sliding off onto the sticky table. The chicken salad sliders were referred to as "like baby food texture" without discernible chunks of chicken or apple. Service was less than engaging. Worst restaurant meal in recent memory. read more

This spot is one of our go to dinner spots. My son loves the tacos here. My husband loves the nachos and beer here! Personally I value the fact they have many healthy offerings- quinoa bowls! Even lettuce cup tacos. The ability to sit outside and enjoy a sunset on the water in the summer is a big plus too. The staff are always so willing to help me order something that fits my dietary needs and are often faster than expected when delivering to the table. read more

Overall this is a great place with good food, drinks of all sorts (decent espresso drinks too). I'm taking a break from alcohol right now, BUT the beer selection here is truly top tier. Service was pretty decent, ambiance is cool too. This place can get pretty crowded during the summer during peak hours, I would try to plan your visit off peak times if at all possible. read more

What a cozy local gem!! We had just landed after a long day of transiting, it was pouring rain, we were starving and looking for a nice local spot to feast - and we hit the jackpot haha! Great food, awesome service, super relaxing vibe with all the Christmas decor and a nice fire going, with views of the water along one of the many fingers of the Puget Sound - what more could you ask for? To start we ordered the Thai Curry & Red Lentil Soup off their special Christmas time menu, as well as the Cheesy Garlic Bread with both the marinara and beer cheese sauces (usually only comes with one but you can get both for an additional cost). The garlic bread was good but that soup was phenomenal!! Great texture and so full of balanced flavors - AND it comes with a beautifully toasted biscuit - omg it was so delicious and comforting- we didn't even really need the garlic bread but were feeling gluttonous lol! They have quite a large taco menu with some unique and interesting flavors so for our mains we shared two sets of tacos - they come in sets of 3 or 4 with choice of tortilla or lettuce. We got 3 of the sweet chili shrimp tacos with flour tortillas and 3 of the Thai peanut chicken tacos with lettuce shells - they were so delicious that we devoured them before I remembered to take pics haha!! Their meats and toppings are all fresh and flavorful and the shrimp were grilled to perfection - some of the best tacos I've had! Our server was very attentive and so friendly! They were playing the BEST selection of music - true old school Seattle grunge - I was in heaven haha! They have a large tap menu of local brews and even a huge store inside full of bottled and canned brews that you can take home OR bring back to your table and drink as you please. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality. Theres a few limited parking spots right out front but there's also a public lot immediately behind the bevco that's paid parking. read more

Great tap room close to the water in PO. We went in October and had their pretzel as an appetizer and it was a lot! But delicious. The pork grilled cheese with mac and cheese was amazing. They put bacon and chives on the Mac and Cheese. My wife's review of the steak nachos, "they were ok." Great service and suggestions for the beer and the food...also plenty of TV's for a relaxed atmosphere and great music. read more

Service was slooooooooow and food was meh. It wasn't terrible, but I'd head to the Whiskey Gulch over this place.

The food here is sadly average, the potatoes are barely seasoned despite being cooked well so that they are crisp but soft. The Hollandaise gets lost in the gravy to where you barely get that sour kick your after. Biscuits and sausage were at least good but the gravy and again seasoning on the egg is lacking. Not only that but they charged me 20 bucks and an additional charge for coffee which somehow does not come with breakfast at that price. Plus their coffee tastes like bland burnt beans, you may as well go to Coffee Oasis down the street. Service was good, and the ambience was ok. It's setup to be both diner and bar/brewery. My recommendation, give this restaurant some growing time, it has potential but it ain't there yet. read more

But family friendly, live music, specials menu next to the bar. Rotating tap from local and far breweries. Extensive food menu with lots of taco choices. Blackened Fish: 4/5 stars. Good flavor and crunch. Corn tortilla was crispy. Fish was more on the extra cooked side but still pretty good. CBR Tacos: 4/5 stars. Good flavor and portions inside tacos. If you taco a classic CBR sandwich and make it a taco, that's what it was like. Basic. Good. More of a restaurant style setup so less brewery feeling. But overall, decent spot to drop by. read more

We saw posts of improvement at Penninsula Brewing lately, so we gave it another try. The sign said seat yourself. But there were two tables reserved and three full of plates from previous diners We waited patiently and were motioned to seat ourselves at a soiled table by an unsmiling wait staff. We sat and waited for her to clear the table, and after several minutes she did. Then told us to wait and she would wipe it down. After she'd wiped it down, she brought menus. We then sat and looked at the menus and put them down for about 15 minutes. During this time we were offered no water, no drinks, nothing. Instead she serviced the table behind us, sourly bringing one small cup at a time, carrying nothing back to the kitchen, SIX TIMES. We left after 20 min without even getting water. We walked across to Kho Soi and had love let greetings, immediate clean seating, water and a carafe in 2 minutes, appetizer and first plates in 10, and attentive staff every few moments. I saw posts that Pen Brewing was doing better... not today. We won't be back. I waited tables and things I knew to do were SMILE. Greet patrons. Never seat at a dirty table! Offer menus with water and a carafe . Never walk to or from kitchen with empty hands. It's not just about staffing. Its customer service that your lacking PBC. read more

Just ate there tonight, not kind menu you would expect from brewery type place. Had a Hawaiian flat bread pizza that was small, lacked much flavor. Tasted premade. Ordered a sandwich that was recommended by the server and received the wrong sandwich . All the server said was oh we have a new cook? Which is interesting because she should have noticed that it was wrong and had the cook fix it. Keep in mind there was only 2 tables with customers at this point and the other table already had their food. So she was not busy! My omelet was great I had the 3 meat . Had lunch here. The wait was way too long. I guess they were understaffed but long wait for food to come. My Thai Tacos were just ok, not the fantastic flavor I read in other reviews. Decent lunch menu with plenty of choices. Many seemed to have jalapeno which limited my choices since my stomach doesn't like them even if my mouth does. Might deter a lot of folks who don't like spice. Got chicken apple sliders. They came on Hawaiian sweet rolls, tons of chicken but just a small slice of apple and the chicken salad was a little dry. They gave you three which was more than enough so I took some home. Choice of sides. I had a salad and my friend had the soup of the day which was tomato and she said was really good. Our other friend had Greek salad. They come in two portions large and small and she got the small which was plenty. They have a full bar and a super nice view. We came for an overnight at the marina's guest docks and appreciate how close this place is. So we went for dinner and had the dragon shrimp tacos in a lettuce wrap and a Thai peanut flatbread . Both were absolutely delicious. A lot of food but it was hard to stop eating .... the next morning for breakfast was the potatoes nacho chicken verde pile with a pomegranate mimosa and a Denver omelette . So the breakfast potatoes were unbelievably yummy. Perfect if you drank alittle too much rum the previous night the omelette was also . This place is cruise worthy of you just want a quick out of Seattle overnight - or even a day trip. I hear Friday nights even have live music .... See you on the docks ! read more

I hate making a negative review. This place was not busy and we still had a horrible experience. Waitress took ten minutes to come and even ask for drinks. When our food came we asked for our drinks. Food was brought to us burned. They never came around to ask about our burned food. Picture shows what our food looked like. Our whole experience took over an hour. We had to leave money and walk out since they never came around to us. Luckily, they stopped us on the way out and screamed we couldn't leave til they closed out our tab. Fun times. read more

My bf and I came here for lunch on Sunday and I really enjoyed that it was a 21+ restaurant. we ordered the Baja prawn tacos, Cuban sandwiches and got the cucumber salad. everything was delicious great amount of food for 2 ppl to spilt. I got a mimosas flight and it was good but definitely would recommend the beer or cider. They don't serve hard alcohol (just to make a note) Parking is easy which is great. Very impressed! We dined here on a quiet winter Monday evening, so the restaurant was not busy. It's an open-floor plan with plenty of space & windows to enjoy the view of the water. Easy parking. Now to the food! This place loves their jalapeños, which is fine by us. Almost every item offers fresh sliced jalapeños & cheese. We had grilled cream cheese sandwiches w/ bacon & of course jalapeños, side of fantastic Mac n cheese w/ bacon. Nachos were good, also generous w the cream cheese n jalapeño. I would give 0 stars if I could. If you have a food allergy, I do not recommend dining here. I went to dinner and informed the waiter of my severe food allergy before placing any orders. The entree was fine. We wanted to order dessert, so we asked about a specific seasonal dessert on the menu and asked whether it contained any tree nuts and reminded her of my allergy. The waiter went to the kitchen to check with the staff. When she returned, she informed us that the dessert did not contain tree nuts, so we ordered it. Upon the first bite, I felt an allergic reaction begin and I stopped eating. We asked the waiter to come back to our table, and again inquired about the ingredients and shared that it tastes like almond and that I was feeling a reaction. She shared that she had asked the kitchen staff about the ingredients and they did not report any tree nuts, and that there was not a book listing ingredients for each dish. She said something to the effect of not having verified the ingredients with the head chef before assuring us that the dish did not contain tree nuts, as he was not physically present, but now would text him to find out. She then returned and told us that the dessert did contain almond extract. Despite informing the staff of my allergy multiple times, and verifying that the dishes I wanted to order did not contain my allergen, I was served food that contained my allergen. This was not cross-contamination, this was a dish with almond extract as a main ingredient. Not listing extremely common and life threatening allergens on the menu is careless. Not keeping an ingredient book for each dish is irresponsible. Having kitchen staff who do not know the ingredients of the food they are preparing is reckless. I have not returned to this establishment since this and advise that others choose another restaurant in the area. read more

The food was good. We all enjoyed our meals. They had a decent selection for brunch. The waitresses were okay. A little more abrupt than we are used to. No introduction, "hello my name is." More of a "what do you want" type of attitude. The downfall here was just how long everything took. We didn't order anything complicated, and it took a ridiculously long time to get our food.
