We chose this restaurant because it was identified as dog friendly. No one else was on the patio with a dog. No dog water or anything specifically to make it friendly with the exception that it's outside. Took forever for someone to even come out and bring us menus. Had to ask for water no condiments on the table. Service was extremely slow and while she offered to refill my water she never brought it back. The food was Also a terrible disappointment. Ordered the Thai tacos lunch special that was to include a salad. First they were out of Island dressing and then they tried to put a very watery Caesar dressing on a salad for me. The tacos were very dry with way too much sauce. My partner had the fish tacos and he said the same thing. Very disappointing. So service and Food both deserve one star. Do not go! 0 stars from me! After at least 10 minutes of waiting at the entrance to be greeted without ANY acknowledgement, we left. There appeared to be 2 people serving with 1 cook observed. There were 5 tables of guests. Not super busy but I understand they were probably short-staffed. We would have waited if they would have at least made eye contacf and asked for a moment but it was as if we didn't exist. I've never been so puzzled. I drank a ROM unknown territory beer, it was great. We ordered the blackened shrimp tacos, so bomb, husband thought too much cabbage. But I loved them on a flour tortilla. We also order the poutine fries. The service was great at the bar. It was lunch time so not very busy on a week day. When I went in, I decided to sit at the bar. It wasn't super busy as it was after lunchtime, but not quite dinner time. The bartender said that they had very good burgers so I was like OK I'll get that and indeed they have very very good burgers and fries and beer. I will be going back again. Very disappointing the order from the menu says quinoa bowl Mediterranean but when the food arrived they gave me rice so when I brought to waitress attention she said oh they mix quinoa with rice didn't even see a single speck of quinoa !!!! Went late afternoon and was able to partake in some happy hour specials. We also had the taco lunch special, both Thai and Greek tacos were delicious. Rachel took excellent care of us and was personable and knowledgeable. Seating was comfortable and dining room was at perfect temperature. Came in on a Friday evening expecting a wait. l We were seated quickly and the wait staff took care of our drink orders! There was a bit of a mix up about who was serving us and it resulted in some errors in the drinks, but no big D. One of the waitresses was certainly having a bad night, but the others were great. Stopped in for happy hour with some friends on a Thursday afternoon. The place was clean, which was nice, with an atmosphere of a slightly redone bar. It's got a lot of the features of the last few places it's been, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Service was slow, even though they were not busy. The servers were nice but they didn't seem to have a good grasp of what was on tap, weird for a brewhouse..... Once we got going the beers and drinks were good. They have a decent cocktail menu in addition to beers on tap and available from a cooler. We shared some snacks including the cheese curds (yum!), sweet potato tots and the hummus plate. The hummus was amazing, but they gave you a ton of it and only 4 crackers for dipping. We also had the chips with queso and beer cheese. The chips were fairly stale tasting and the dips were just ok. They also shared some tacos, which looked pretty good but since there wasn't a vegetarian option I didn't get to try them. All in all, it's a decent place for drinks and snacks. He took our drink order and upon delivery our food order. My friend ordered the fish tacos and I ordered the Brie/blueberry burger....substituted with the impossible burger. The burger was delicious! I have never had blueberries on a burger with Brie cheeses, wonderful combination. The fries were crispy, perfect! The staff are very friendly, the food was great, but I do need to note, our server did not place our order with the kitchen after taking our order. About 10-15 minutes from taking our order the server came to our table to inform us he failed to submit our order and the kitchen indicated he wouldn't be too long to fill our order. No argument the food is good and selections of beer are good. We have visited this location several times and the food is good. The service is good technically. We gave this place a chance and find the servers and staff not very friendly. Okay so some will say maybe it is us. I get that however we frequent other places in town and are very good friends with the owners and staff. The owner is not friendly at all, I was meeting my wife for dinner and got there early, I ordered a drink and the owner was bartending, I was the only person in the bar and two tables. I asked the owner a couple of questions and it seemed to put him out... We also came in to discuss with the manager a possible place for a college team watch party. The manager said the owner would stop by our table to discuss, we were there for another hour and the owner did not stop by. Moral to the story we found another location. We average 20+ people every Sat afternoon of evenings. Thank you Nicky and Kirk for hosting our events. If the owner reads this say each person who comes for a game is there about 3 hours and spend on average $60 x 20 -25 people $1500 ish x 12 games $18k. That's just football, basketball has 35-40 games easy math for basketball average 15-20 people a game that would be about $40k a season....we have two other watch parties in Kitsap and each of those locations average 20-30 people a game..,those managers and owners are very happy to have us. My review is to say that location has had a hard go of it there has been no less then 4 businesses in that place and none have made it. We really like the food Tesio pizza is way better...just a plug for Tesio... It's too bad the owner is not friendly or open to finding ways to generate revenue, as I pointed out above they left over $40k on the table. We are very involved with several businesses in Kitsap and partner for events for our Alumni, and had hoped we could bring some business in to help make this place successful in the new location.
