Dog days is definitely a chill place to grab a local micro brew. I love the constantly changing menu and variety. I've always been able to find a beer I love. The laid back atmosphere is awesome and when the sun is out, the garage door opens and you can sit outside. You can bring outside food and it always seems like there's something going on from live music to trivia. Definitely a place to check out when you visit Bremerton.

A group of us stopped into Dog Days to whet our whistles. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is dark and dreary. Dog Days does not offer any food. Outside food is allowed. Orders are placed at the bar with a grouchy server. Tap list is small compared to other breweries. My wife ordered the Scorpion's Sting Pale Ale and I ordered the Resilience IPA for $5 each. Not a single person liked Dog Days beer. All our beer seemed flat with a musky smell. The flavor was way off base. The beer was so dissatisfying and torturous that we all left our full beers on the table to find a different location serving better beer. Overall, Dog Days was a waste of money and time. There is ample opportunity on the customer care front.

They offer about 12 rotating tap options.

We headed in recently with a groupon for a flight and a pint. A great affordable way to check out a new spot and an awesome excuse for a mid-week night out. The good: I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating for summer months, are super dog friendly and offer a rotating list of local taps. They also frequently have live music, events and collabs with their neighboring businesses downtown. We stopped in after making a lap through the farmers market which has temporarily been moved for Covid. It's a fantastic location in what is now Quincy Square to park, grab some food, chill with friends or your pooch and play a round of giant jenga. The bad: For a place that doesn't offer food at all (outside food is welcomed and encouraged) I felt the tap list was small. Certainly glad we checked it out, wouldn't prevent me from stopping in on our next romp around downtown we just left a little disappointed in the variety. Looking forward to stopping in again and hopefully they'll have more options to suit a wider range of preferences.

Wow is all I can say: Dog days Brewing was amazing. From the outstanding customer service, the amazing drinks to the fun atmosphere they provide. On the warm days the fire doors are open. It gives an even more open and homey feel. There are many options of beer to choose from that have a broad range. It was nice to try each brew to be able to choose a favorite. Although I must say it was pretty hard to choose a favorite. There are games scattered around to choose from. My fiancée and I played the giant jinga set. Which is always fun. You can never mix jinga and beer and not have fun, right? A great place and environment, will definitely return.

We found this place after a ferry boat. It's seems like Covid has take a lot of businesses out. My girlfriend is a beer enthusiast and loved their selection. I am not fond of beer, but each one I got was good. They have games to play which was fun while we tasted the different beers the brewery had to offer. I would recommend. Loved our experience.

Outstanding local microbrewery that is fairly new to the area, with a small (but flavorful) selection and a passionate owner. Visited during The Blackberry Festival with some friends who are locals. Enjoyed the Buckberry brew (a blackberry Belgian 8%) and took a flight that included samples of several other varieties. The Thornberry was especially pleasing and their take on an IPA was certainly a beer drinker's beer - robust flavor with the pleasantly slight bitter of an IPA without a heavy aftertaste. Highly recommend this locals' hangout if you are in or around the Bremerton area!

Orange cran cider and el balcon tacos

el balcon tacos are now 4/$6 on tuesdays, but beers are still $3 at dog days when you bring your food over! I got half steak, half chicken (add lettuce/tomato/cheese, plus onions with cilantro) with the avocado lime(?) salsa and a cranberry orange cider!!! I always find a beer I love (shout out to the shock paww- so sour!) at dog days. It was delicious. They let you try whatever you want (even a non-alcoholic root beer) and what's on tap rotates. My top faves so far have been the blue razz (bright blue beer!) and banana heff. The steak had little gristle, I definitely liked the chicken better. My friend got earl gray beer (last time I had half earl gray, half lavender. Very yummy!) and pork and steak. She loved the pork, for its texture? and says "don't forget the salsas!"

The sign up by the bar at Dog Days.

Nice little dog friendly pub. The only downfall is the location. Tap had decent beer for a reasonable price.

Attention: Improper Food Temperature Holding…read more We were excited to see a Brunch Buffet come to Bremerton, since Covid it has been hard to find them anymore and we were excited to go check it out. However, they have some huge errors that they need to correct. I have managed multiple food establishments before and it always concerns me when I see unsafe food practices. This place is NOT safe to eat at for the Bruch Buffet as it stands currently. They did not have the canned heat lit underneath the Buffet containers, in fact one of the containers didn't even have one at all underneath it. I figured that it was a small error and they just couldn't see it. So I let the gal at the front know, she went and told the guy who was in charge of manning and refilling the buffet station. He said something that sounded like he was disregarding it. He never once went over to attempt to light them, check on them, and completely ignored them. We continued to watch as food kept coming out but no one was dealing with the issue of the food not being kept hot. There were people in line to get food so the lids remained off of the food, so the heat is coming out, there's no heat control from the bottom, the food is just quickly making it into the danger zone. Finally I went up again to talk to the front yet again, this time there were two gals up front. I told them again that no one had lit them, and that it's quickly becoming a severe food concern and a matter of public safety. One of the gals said, "Uhm, I think that someone is looking into this". They brushed me off and I could tell they were just lying to me saying someone was taking care of this issue... It's a fast fix, you just go over and investigate them, and light them. No one once had looked at them, they aren't "looking into this", this isn't an equipment malfunction, this is a basic requirement for Food sanitation to run a buffet line. By the time we left, no one still had come up to investigate or address the issue. This is extremely unsafe. It is disappointing that the reactions from staff also did not take this seriously. This shows me that they don't care about safe food practices in this establishment which is also a huge concern. I saw several people post online about the fact that they ran into the same concerns and issues today from service. Another person said they were told by a staff member "We went to the store and couldn't find more canned heat"... there are tons of stores with it. Fred Meyer down the way had them in stock. This just wasn't a concern for them, which is not okay for a food establishment. Proper protocol for a kitchen is if they realized they didn't have them, would have been to shut down the buffet for the day and cancel it until they could get the heat source working properly. Also the buffet started at 9am and the food wasn't fully out and ready for 30 minutes past that. It's a real shame because they have the potential to be a great place. We custom ordered omelets that tasted great, the food itself when it was hot tasted good. It lacked some seasoning but otherwise they have such great potential. However, they can't ignore proper food handling. They can't risk peoples health like that. Completely unsafe and unprofessional the way they handled that.

We love bringing the Boot Boogie Babes to this venue to enjoy great food, excellent service, yummy…read moredrinks, kid friendly atmosphere and of course some line dancing!
