This must be a special Panera where they try out new concepts. Over the past month, they have put in a screen that shows when your order is being prepared and when it's ready, tablets so that you can skip the line and order from a touch screen, and numbered tables so that you can sit down and order from your table using the website. I think the tablets and ordering from the table are pretty useful if you're in the antisocial mood and you want to deal with as few people as possible, but sometimes I think we're all going to lose our communication skills if we are using tablets and internet ordering even while we're present at the restaurant. I did try the tablets out to order because I'm a nerd, and it was cool, especially if you don't want to wait in line. My order was delivered to my table by a friendly young man and everything was as expected. Food at Panera chains is very consistent around the country and I've never had anything wrong with my orders here. Their pastries and bagels are fantastic. I love the wild blueberry muffins and the chocolate chip bagels. The sandwiches have interesting combinations of flavors and I've loved the Sierra Turkey for the past few years. The salads are very tasty but not all of them are as healthy as you may think. The soups are good, the mac & cheese is amazing, and the smoothies and coffee drinks are just as good as going to a cafe. You can have Panera for every meal. Even though I've been to many different Paneras around the country, I am still very confused every time about whether I'm supposed to put away my own dishes or leave them on the table. i've never been mistreated or had a bad experience at this location. The food is consistent and even though the location is small, we're always able to find a table (indoor and outdoor seating). I love the pick 2 option (half of a signature sandwich and a cup of soup). the best part is i don't have to cook and we each get something we want and it's not expensive. the last time I went there, they had kiosk-looking set up if you want to order there instead of with a person. can't go wrong with asiago turkey and broccoli soup! =) read more

Another convenience in terms of places to eat. I've Panera throughout the area I live in, so the novelty has worn off on me. Decent selections of soups, salads, and sandwiches. You can also get various breads, baked goods, etc. I was a bit surprised about the size of the salad that came with the 1/2 and 1/2 combo. It was pretty large and nice sized, although the soup cup was pretty darn small. But again, for a convenient place to eat and grab a quick bite (or a specialty drink), can't really argue against it. read more

A simple but classic meal. Whenever I can't decide where to go, this is a place of no contention. I love all of their soups and always get one if I'm feeling low or sick. It gives me some light comfort! The sandwiches and flatbreads are good as well. My favorite thing is their flavored green tea! I love Panera. It is my main standby if I forget lunch or need to pick something up quickly. I love their baked potato and creamy tomato soup. I could eat it every single day. I was not a fan of their vanilla latte. The cashier told me they did not have sugar free vanilla syrup however it turned out that was the only sugar free syrup they did have. I usually like their food and love their cream of chicken and wild rice soup. Ordered for delivery today and was a bit disappointed. Did not get the free birthday pastry which ok..,I had ordered something for desert anyway. Ordered the pastry ring. They packed it in the bag sideways so it all crumbled to the bottom of the container. Once removing the seal it was very obvious someone from the restaurant removed 2 pieces of the pastry ring then sealed it up for delivery. So obviously it went in the trash (not eating something that was obviously already partially eaten) as they are now closed plus how do we prove it arrived that way..,so then it became no desert. One of the sandwiches the white bread was really hard on the crust. So part of that did not get eaten. Due to having a gift card, I will try them one more time. If I could give zero stars for this location I would. I placed an online delivery order on 10/15/18 at around 11:15 am. Ordering online was very simple and they gave me an estimated time of delivery for 12:25-12:40pm. I was very understanding of this due to it being lunchtime and that it was raining. I called at 12:45pm and spoke to a manager asking about the status of my order and when I could receive it; his response was that his driver was out on Plano Pwky delivering, that he had my order, and that I could expect it in about 15 minutes. I asked if this is usually how delivery is done with Panera (was my first time doing delivery with Panera) and he said no that they just had a lot of orders because of the weather, I said I completely understand and really appreciate you helping me out. Well another 20 minutes goes by so now we are at 1:10pm. I call the store back and talk to I assume another manager and ask about my order while also explaining my first call to the store. He informs me that actually my order is still at the store and not out for delivery. I ask, is this how you do business? You lie to customers about there order and do nothing about it? Why did I order something over 2 hours ago and you haven't even tried to deliver? His response was no ma'am we don't usually run like this and I will talk to my team. Not let me get that to you right away, no trying to make it right, no offer to pick up the food, no offer for anything. He simply said he would cancel the order. I am completely disgusted by the lack of customer service skills this location has and their complete disregard for my order. I have to assume that if I was a big company down the road like State Farm I would get better service. The small company I work for will never ever use this location for any of our office lunches or clients. Panera has wonderful food, but I'm debating at every dining at one again because of the awful service I received today. There are way too many options for lunch and delivery services in this area that it is not worth to wait over 2 hours to only have your lunch order cancelled. The most pitiful curbside experience ever- and this is not the first time. This morning my husband placed a breakfast order and went to pick it up curbside with our 1 year old. He waited almost 20 minutes to have the order brought to him. The restaurant was not busy, and we did not order anything specialty off menu. Once he finally got home with the food, the coffees were horribly made and the bagels weren't even sliced. For several weeks, while my wife was recovering from surgery, we ordered their Fuji Apple Salad (and sometimes other items too) to go about 3 or 4 times per week. We both like the salad and for the first week all was good. Then we both got salads that had no apple, no pecans, and very little chicken. I told the manager Randy about it and he comped us a meal so we tried it again. A couple salads later, again, all the ingredients weren't in the salad. and a few iffy salads. Next time, we mentioned it to the cashier, and when we got the salad home and looked at it, it had apple, and pecans alright, but almost nothing else (such as greens). It filled about 1/3 of the box. So, the salad tastes great, but the service and the "cooks" are less than acceptable. We've stopped going there completely. The prices are high and they should be able to get it right. Salad and sandwich for 2 for about $40 is a bit high. At the least, if you order to go, check your order before you leave, which I should have been doing every time. But come on! It's a salad. How hard can that be to get it right? I give the place 1 star, but because we do like the food, I'm adding a second. read more

Have been a regular at this location for several months now, and I can officially bump them up to 4 stars. I have become a coffee convert...was a long-time Starbucks patron (gold card status, everything) but due to the easy access of this Panera and their amazing coffee, this is my first choice for coffee. Their dark roast is extremely smooth and my wife swears by their hazelnut. Staff is very friendly and helpful at this location. this was my go to location for panera, thank heavens, i did not spend my own money for the dinner i tried to enjoy. i know that i selected dine in, not to go at the beginning of my order, i always select dine in. they are always out of the green tea, and they have several hours yet to remaining that they are open, why do they not have a staff person responsible to check before it is out completely. i selected the pick 2, french onion soup, when they served it in the to go container there was absolutely no cheese to be seen, 5 croutons in a separate bag. near the end of my meal, i found the cheese at the very bottom of the to go soup container. had i elected to go home i could have heated my soup, but since i was dining in i enjoyed a barely warm french onion soup, a few more minutes and one would consider it cold. i must admit the text alert system, lets you know your order is ready far in advance of the order actually being ready. i have been receiving text alerts before the food is plated, and on the counter, which means i am standing at the counter waiting on them to actually prepare the food. a friend had given me a gift card and they wasted their money. such a disappointmenting visit to a place that i have enjoyed over the years that will now be placed on my avoiding list and that i will be telling everyone to skip, not to visit for coffee/tea or just a quick snack. a place to grab a tea and visit read more

So, anyone can walk into Pandera Bread and get a free meal if they want...because no one cares who picks up what. There was about 3 females behind the counter hiding behind the pastries. When I made it obvious that I was ready to order, the hostess was not friendly and just took the order and told me how much I owed. I ordered the steak bagel sandwhich ( which is delicious by the way) and I waited for about 15 minutes for my order to be done..... my order was done in about 8 minutes but my number wasn't called and my name wasn't called.
