Oh Panera, you make the best Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich, I have ordered the you pick 2 faithfully for years and while we have had our ups and downs, like the accidental orders, incredibly rude service and moldy tomatoes in my food I had to step away. However I missed your sandwich and asked someone to pick me up my typical order since I would still be in class til past closing time. Driving home, starving to death I kept thinking about the delicious sandwich and soup waiting for me. The first bite was stale bread and lettuce, so I investigated my sandwich and there was barely any chicken. Guys is this how you treat take home orders? I've eaten at your restaurant before and this is about 1/3 of the chicken I get at the store. Not cool guys. It's time to step it up. P.s. Most Panera Bread locations have great service and good food. Unfortunately this is not one of them. Visited this location and found one person taking orders and 8 or 10 people, along with 2 managers standing in the back. We were 3rd in line and I watched the one order taker graciously helping a woman with her child which took about 5 minutes. Now the line had grown to about 6 people. When the order taker completed her transaction she walked to the back to join the others leaving the counter abandoned with 6 people in line. After raising my voice and asking for some service the 2 managers finally looked up from their conversation and 2 people came to the front counter. Ate with my family today around 1:45 wasn't crowded Sunday. It wasn't crowded. Just heads up check your table, it was dirty and the utensils were filthy. My spoon look like someone just finished their soup it wasn't even wiped off, the knife was sticky so I wasn't going to use the fork. I asked for clean utensils and the girl behind the counter where you pick up your food seemed annoyed. After receiving the next utensils I had to go back again and ask for a soup spoon cuz the next spoon was dirty as well. As for the table take your own wipes and clean your table but now I'm reluctant to eat here. read more

I love Panera.. the only thing I dont like about it is they try to make their food look healthy and its really not! This location is always clean, which I like and the food is yummy, even though its not healthy lol! It does get pretty busy, but the line goes pretty fast... I love Paneras and have been a customer for years, so I wanted to get a curbside order. Don't bother! Took forever to get to a screen where I could make selections; and there was nowhere to enter my membership number. When I clicked on the bread I wanted - Nothing. No response. I left that screen, re-entered and still nothing. I called the store and nobody answered, during business hours. When Safe at Home confinement is over, I'll go back. Normally, when my order gets messed up somewhere I will ask them to fix it, however, i didn't realize it was wrong until i got home. We have had good experiences with the mobile ordering/ rapid pick-up, tonight we did not. First of all, the frontega chicken panini was burnt on the bottom and had barely any lettuce on it. Then, I had asked for a few customizations on my tuna sandwich (honey wheat bread, add cucumbers, and extra mayonnaise), what I got though was a piece of sourdough bread with only tuna on it, nothing else. I checked the receipt to see if I placed it wrong, but nope, it was clearly on there. To top it all off, the bread we were given for the soups looked like it had been ripped apart and just thrown in the handle bag as an afterthought, not even wrapped or anything. Also, we were given an extra sandwich. Not that I'm complaining about that but someone else was obviously missing theirs. It did seem as though they were pretty busy tonight, but I don't think it's too hard to ask for the orders to be double checked before they are called out, especially if the order/receipt is right next to the bag. read more

Placed an order on rapid pickup and when I got my order home I was missing an item and only 3 items were ordered. When I tried to call they would not take my call since it was the "dinner hour". When I finally got thru and voiced my complaint I got a flip response about only one cashier. Don't make your problem my problem Garrett and since I had paid for my order make it right. I can't believe they only have one cashier on during the dinner hour when obviously they know that they are going to be busy and that's why they turn off their phone. This Panera has gone downhill in recent years in customer service. Now that there is Covid, they are even worse. Twice I have ordered for curbside you can pick up your pie(s) at my house. And both times, I had to go inside to remind them that I need my food (which was ordered and paid for thru the App.) Also, both times excuses were made, but no apology. I consider this to be a management problem. The employees don't seem well-trained. I won't be going to this Panera again. On the other hand, the Beaumont restaurant is great. First time trying the new location in Yucaipa last night and was sorely disappointed and will not go back. I initially tried to order on the app at 7pm and once I completed my order it told me they were so busy and had so many orders that my order wouldn't be ready for an hour. I decided to just go to the location and order to go. When I walked in there was one employee moving bread/brownies, one employee filling juice/tea, one employee leaning on the food counter chatting and many employees in the back. It was not busy, maybe 3 families in the entire place already eating. After a few minutes waiting at the register, one employee who was leaving the store told me the employee filling the juice/tea would help me when she was done. After a few more minutes that employee who I was waiting on did approach the register and was pleasant and helped me. After spending $85 and waiting about 25 minutes we received our food and went home. And low and behold they forgot part of the order. I did call and let the manager know, but no, I was not driving back down to get the forgotten item. I will spend my money elsewhere in town where they at least try to provide some customer service. read more

This location is always quick and tasty. The food is consistent and reasonable. The staff has generally been pleasant. You can usually get in and out of here for a quick sit down lunch in under 30 minutes. This is a great breakfast or lunch spot. You can also get out of here with meal out without breaking your calorie budget. Much appreciated! A plus to this location that most others don't have is the outdoor patio seating with umbrellas. Simply that Panera bread is just a great company and markets good tasting food, a superb vibe, and the location is great from my house, I love this place and will keep coming back. I give the company 5 stars. I wish I thought of this very marketable idea. =) This location has OKAY service. Brilliant idea to have cute college girls on cash register to give that welcoming vibe. However, if it's super busy and only table left is the dirty table in the back corner from the previous people you might as well clean it off yourself. So my friends and I found out about their free pastry deal where if you sign up, you'll be able to receive a free pastry.. My friends ordered online and I ordered in person but when I arrived, I only saw my order ready. I thought they just haven't gotten to it yet but then when I asked, one of the workers told me they held it back due to fraud happening lately from the free pastry deal. I do not think it's professional to accuse someone of fraud without any concrete evidence. I felt very awkward and in fact disrespected in this situation the worker put me through. I am aware panera may have problems with fraud but that does not give the right for them to accuse a customer of fraud. It's also not like we didn't purchase see anything, I did in fact spend money so them accusing me of the sort displays their stinginess and arrogance. The food was good but the workers respect for a customer is important also which is why I am giving a 2 star rating. This is not appropriate and should not happen to any customer. This is our Sunday after church eats. The menu is great for everyone. The Asiago Roast Beef is one of my personal favorites along with the broccoli cheddar soup. On a cool day, it hits the spot. Also the bakery is amazing. Two to three times a month I buy bagels for my guys in the office, and Panera is always quick to get me back on the road with a box full of delicious bagels.
