The lunch specials are also a great deal at around $13. I had the al pastor fish tacos, which were really yummy. My husband got the ahi poke bowl and OH. MY. GOSH. It was SO GOOD. Whatever sauce they put on that bowl needs to make its way over to the fish tacos! That would be my one critique. The sour cream on the tacos actually took away from the flavor a little bit for me. Swap that out for some of that delicious sauce from the ahi bowl, and I seriously think those tacos would go from five-star to TEN-STAR status. I swapped my fries for the Brussels sprouts, and those did NOT disappoint. Super delicious! The sauce settles toward the bottom, so give them a good mix and you're golden. And then came dessert... The bourbon barrel cake. I was basically fainting over how good it was. Absolutely delicious and such a perfect way to end lunch. Our server, Ellias (with two Ls!), was awesome too. Super attentive, friendly, and took great care of us the entire time. Five stars for the food. Five stars for the atmosphere. Five stars for the service. Even though we came in before the lunch rush and it wasn't packed yet, the place still had such a great energy. It didn't need to be busy to feel like a vibe. A good measure of a restaurant is whether or not they can cook to the requested temperature. The medium-rare was in fact a medium-rare--juicy, tender with a warm pink center. An even better measure of a restaurant is how they prepare their vegetables. The porterhouse came with asparagus and carrots that were roasted and seasoned with sweet caramelization and crispy exterior. I definitely want to come back in a Saturday to try their prime rib.

I think this place will be closed in 6 months. The poor quality of the plastic forks and styrofoam containers is echoed in the food. I tried "The Works" bowl which was a blend of chicken and beef over blanched vegetables and a bed of rice. The chicken was difficult to eat as about half of the chunks contained cartilage and were difficult to chew. The beef was slightly redeeming as it could be described as "not bad." There are only about 4 variations of chicken/beef/rice/vegetables that make up the entire menu so I would think that they would be able to do these items in a fantastic way, but swing and a miss! They also aren't small kid friendly as they only own ONE high chair and there isn't a knife in the building to cut food small enough for a toddler to eat it. Definitely wont be back. read more

The creamy spinach I ate was ok it reminded me of broccoli cheddar soup! The potato salad was bland And the brisket had absolutely no flavor! My husband and I both ended up with food poisoning from it! We will NOT be returning! The ambiance was great and there seem to be a lot of people there for a Saturday at 11:00am Again very disappointed in the taste of blandness of the food! The bbq sauce itself was awful!

Everything seemed to have been made from scratch it did take a minute to get the food but it was well worth it the ramen was delicious I got the oxtail ramen so unique I love oxtail it was excellent and also in addition we got the edamame so good so good. I saw lots of people coming in and picking up orders not a lot of people inside probably due to the heat that day but if you've never had ramen outside of home or if you've had it at other places I'm telling you this is a Hidden gem the food is excellent and the service was wonderful and we did get a cold beer as well... Please go try Redlands ramen it's worth it!

This place was disgusting. August 2026 update: Gave this place another go, other place in town has bland broth, our favorite place was closed. We are a party of seven, waited several minutes before being greeted, just standing there at the front door. Place still looks gross but at least it didnt smell like pinesol and moldy sponges this time. Was finally greeted with a "we are out of tonkotsu broth if thats what you want" Lol 100% definitely will not be back, promise.

We've spent every Mother's Day at Mimi's Cafe for years and have genuinely never experienced…read moreanything like this before, which is why this was so disappointing. We had an 11:15 reservation and were not seated until 12:40. Throughout the wait, we were repeatedly told there were no tables available. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of communication from management. No one explained that brunch service would be ending, and we actually had to get up and ask ourselves whether brunch was still available. That was when we were finally told they had stopped serving it. At that point, it honestly made us question what the purpose of having a reservation was in the first place. A delay of over an hour on one of the busiest brunch holidays of the year should have either been communicated transparently or accommodated appropriately by honoring brunch for delayed reservation parties. The response from management was also disappointing. Rather than taking accountability or offering any real solution, the manager blamed staffing and "corporate." If this truly comes down to corporate policies or staffing decisions, then Mimi's as a company seriously needs to reevaluate how these holidays are managed. Longtime customers should not be left waiting over an hour with no communication, only to lose access to the very menu they made reservations for. Sadly, experiences like this are probably part of why so many longtime customers feel the overall quality and organization of the company has declined over the years. We've always loved coming here and this location has been part of our Mother's Day tradition, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
