Let me start off by saying I NEVER leave reviews but this needs to be addressed. Food is always delicious and fresh, people too. So my review would be 5 stars, However the experience I just had picking up my order was not a pleasant one, and I do not mean for me personally, but the way the guy in the kitchen spoke to Kaylee I believe her name was. So I'm giving this one star A customer before me, needed more sauce - the girl grabbed it for the customer. She then went to check the sauce and she informed the guy in the kitchen that there was still sauce in the container, he made a remark, about her opening the container and she responded "well I needed to check how much was in there" - (which I would have done the same in her shoes)so she closed it and grabbed a napkin to clean up whatever may have spilled and the guy made a comment which I didn't clearly hear - and then finishes off by saying "and not to mention you're wasting a napkin. We're not boujee like your family Kaylee" It seemed like he was being completely rude to her for no reason. It's one thing to reprimand an employee if they are doing something wrong - But not in front of customers & for the right things. This to me, seemed completely out of line. read more

Good new location This is a chain that I have not tried but they are quick and have healthy and veggie options. The chicken was flavorful and tender dark meat. Beef was good as well. They got through about 50 orders in the 20:00 minutes I was there for lunch. Recommended for takeout and quick food. read more

Over a month ago, I saw that this place was opening soon have anxiously been awaiting their opening. I have eaten at a couple other locations and loved the food. Yesterday I happened to be nearby and noticed it was open so I had to stop in for a quick bite. What a coincidence that it was their opening day! Friendly and quick service and the food was as delicious as last time I had it. The "sauce station" has red, green and magic sauce. Love the option of brown rice too! They had quite a few people coming in and it seemed that everyone was getting their order quickly. I'm very happy this place is here and close to my office. Such a disappointment with not only the food we ordered, (spicy chicken bowl with WHITE RICE and reg chicken bowl WITH BROWN RICE.) I can't believe how rude the cook was when trying to have our food corrected with the white rice we ordered with the spicy chicken bowl, which she made with brown rice. She was extremely rude and insisted it was white rice when it was brown rice, refusing to replace order to make it right, she gave small cup of white rice and said "that was all she could do." The food was cold, not fully cooked and put together sloppy. such a horrible experience. We ended up leaving the food, After paying $28 and we walked out. We will never eat there again. read more

It is fresh and good. I get that it is the concept of this place but the simple menu may not be enough time after time. The place looked a little sketchy in the strip mall but, once in it is clean and nice and they are friendly. We loved the Hot Hot Sauce and the magic sauce. We mixed em and made our own. I love Flame Broiler. The food at this restaurant is always so good and so hot never cold. There's one thing that can change for the better and I hope the owner is reading this. With the amount of veterans we have here in Redlands you think they would offer a discount to them. I went in to lunch at this location and there was a Vietnam Vet in front of me who ordered his meal. He asked if they had a discount for vets and the girl behind the counter said no politely. I was shocked. Especially here with the VA down the street. I gladly bought his lunch for him. It's the very least anyone can do. That's the reason for the 3 stars instead of 5. I ordered the "Works Plate" which is essentially a combo of BBQ beef and chicken with veggies, cabbage salad, rice and half an orange. The BBQ beef and chicken were tasty and there was plenty of it on the plate. Veggies were a tender but still crunchy mix of carrot broccoli and plenty of cabbage The cabbage salad had a light citrus vinaigrette on it which added just enough flavor to keep it from being merely a garnish, and the whole thing came with a generous portion or white or brown rice - so much so that even after eating enough this plate that I worry that sleep to my afternoon meetings it still look like there was at least half of it left, which I saved for dinner. Flamer Broiler also has a sauce station where you can add sauces out of pump type dispensers, either right onto the plate or into little take out cups. There was also a bottle of the ever-popular rooster emblazoned bottle of shri ra cha and a little container of what I'm guessing was pickled jalepenos available. I didn't really feel like I needed to add anything additional to my meal, but I was curious about the labels of "hot" and "magic" plus "hot-hot" so I grabbed some sauce samples just to see what it was all about. The "hot" and "Hot hot" sauces from the flame broiler basically reminded me of red and green taco sauces. Their "Magic" sauce was a thick teriyaki sauce. Nothing terribly exciting, but just what you need to spike up some flavors if you find the food is lacking that little "something". Quality-wise I would say this is above average compared to similar dishes I've had at local "Hawaiian BBQ" or "Korean BBQ" style fast food places like L&L and "(insert name of whichever) Hawaiian BBQ" restaurants around here. At $7.70 plus tax, the prices are right in line with what I would expect. The restaurant was clean, service was prompt and friendly and I was in and out quickly during my lunch break, leaving me enough time to actually sit down and eat. This place is the great for the location, and seems to be just what the corner plaza needed. The food here is similar to Yoshinoya but much healthier. I ordered the half & half bowl which included chicken and angus beef. Health conscious people will like this place because they can get their protein needs in the meats they have to offer, as well as having the option of white or brown rice with their meal. There are many different other options on the menu such as veggies, angus ribs and side salads. If you are in the area and craving a beef/chicken bowl i would definitely recommend this place. p.s.- they have mini bowls, regular bowls, and plates, i ordered the regular bowl portion and was full after eating it. i couldn't imagine how much food comes with the plate, but if you're a big eater then challenge yourself with the plate. read more

Best beef bowl I've had yet in the Inland Empire. I ordered the beef bowl w/ white rice and my wife ordered the beef and veggie bowl w/ white rice. We did enjoy the beef however it was not as flavorful or tender as what we are used to eating at the Flame Broiler in Laguna Niguel, which seems to use higher quality meat. Great food, fresh but a little skimpy on portions. I guess it depends on who is cooking as sometimes you get a full bowl and others times not much past 3/4's full. But the food tastes great. A little pricey for a bowl (8.00). Their hot sauce is really good too, not over powering and not killer hot but spicy and very good. I eat here once or twice a week and have never got anything I didn't like.Service is good but you really have to pay attention because they don't call the numbers very loud unless the order has been sitting a while. Vegans beware . I believe they cook the tofu with the meat here because I found 3 pieces of chicken in my tofu. I am lacto ova vegetarian so I just picked out the chicken and gave it to my husband. But vegans beware you may have to ask them to clean the grill or cook your tofu on a separate area of the grill too. My husband said that the chicken was dry and that the flavor was just okay. I have been waiting quite some time for this place to open up, the closest one we were driving to get Flame Broiler was in the riverside area and was becoming a drag to drive all the way there. I always get the half chicken and half beef plate with brown rice. It was delicious. They now serve angus beef! Great, healthy food for the perfect place because Loma Linda is also known as the blue zone! Great service and the restaurant was very clean! Went in for lunch today with my wife food was good and the portions were nothing to complain about either. Like somebody else said it's like yoshinoya but the meat is better the magic sauce is kinda like teriyaki and the hot sauce taste like hot wings didn't try the hot hot. Wish they had pickled ginger that would have gone really well! The regular bowl is like $6.50 which is like $2 more then the 1 item bowl at most combo a/b places but I wasn't complaining cause they actually give a good amount of meat! I love this place. It's nice to have a healthy option that's fast. The selection is fairly simple, I wish they had more vegetables in the veggie selection. The only thing I don't like, is they don't offer anything small for my kids. I have a three year old and the small bowl is still too much for him, and they don't have any drinks for him. First of all, I'm a huge fan of the Flame Broiler. This particular one has the freshest tasting chicken and beef. Don't believe me? Try the bowls here and then compare them to another Flame Broiler and you will know I'm telling the truth. I'm here at least twice a month since they don't have one in San Bernardino. Very affordable and healthy! I usually get the half and half bowl with easy white or brown rice. You have to try the magic sauce. It's so good. They also have a rewards program so you get a point for every bowl or plate you purchase and after you reach 15 points, you get a free bowl. That's awesome! The owner is a very friendly guy and you will see him behind the counter preparing the orders. Sometimes the cashiers give off the "I don't care about being here" vibe, but despite that I love coming to this Flame Broiler. It's usually kept very clean.
