The food was salty. The service was missing. Absolutely no customer service for new or returning customers. I ordered 18 piece bites, and I had to pay for one ranch. Which is okay (not really) but when I saw they had reaper ranch, I wanted to try it and the cashier said "you'll have to buy it". I asked if she can provide it free so I can try it and buy it next time I return. She said "if you don't like it, i don't know what to tell you". I don't mind buying one or all the sauces in the world. But if I was providing great service, I'd do a one time thing. Whoever does the staffing here should be fired immediately. I don't know where they found these employees but they're all insanely terrible. We decided not to go to the one is SB because it was busy and there's a reason this location never has a wait it sucks. I came in the girl at the front register was on her phone and didn't acknowledge me finally I got tired of waiting on her to get off her phone and I told her I was ready to order since she was clearly not going to ask me. Katalina was her name she remained rude the entire time. The food came out the chicken wasn't hot there was 1 shred of Cole slaw on my slider and I had to keep going back up to ask them to fix it. My sister ordered the buffalo fries there was four of us she gave her one fork and took almost 10 mins to acknowledge us when we asked for another fork. Our mozzarella sticks came out cold the cheese wasn't even melted and at this point we just wanted our money back which she also ignored us forever for. I got the small top-loaded fries and it only came with three pieces of chicken, plus the fries were cold. The flavor was fine but nothing special. I also tried the mac and cheese, and it just tasted like boxed mac to me. Maybe it's just this location, but I wish there was a 1.5-star option--doesn't quite deserve one star, but definitely not two. My grandchildren visited the Highland store using complimentary Dave's Hot Chicken cards that had been provided to me by the Lakewood location. Unfortunately, their experience was very disappointing. Ana, the General Manager at the Highland store, refused to accept the cards and implied that they may have been stolen, stating that the cards were not signed and could not have been obtained otherwise. To clarify the situation, I contacted the Lakewood location and spoke with Kylie, who confirmed that the cards should be accepted. I then followed up with the Highland store and spoke again with Ana. During this conversation, she remained dismissive and repeated her assertion that the cards might be stolen due to the lack of a signature. I found this interaction to be unprofessional and inappropriate, and both I and my grandchildren felt offended by the implication. I believe this situation could have been handled with greater courtesy and a willingness to verify the issue rather than making assumptions.
