Came to this Denny's after a long day at Universal Studios, we decided to stop on our way home and we were so happy we did. Upon entering we were made to feel welcome, right off the bat we were treated with politeness and respect. We were seated immediately and our order was taken in a timely manner. The food came fast and was cooked to perfection and still hot. The server John was amazing. So respectful and sweet. Went above and beyond, he met our needs with great customer service. Seems to enjoy his job and dealing with customers. I hope this place knows what type of great employee they have. If I could give him more than five stars, I would give him 10. The first time came to this location, surprisingly inside is nice but not too big like the other Dennys. But the vibe inside is very cozy and nice. I got the Jr grand slam and its fresh and good. I really appreciate that they separated the meat and eggs at the bottom and the delicious french toast on top in a different tray. Awesome!! I came to this Denny's to eat and unfortunately the service was horrible. When our server came to take our order, we also ordered coffee. We waited almost 25 minutes and still had not received it. After waiting that long, I asked one of the hosts if she could bring the coffees. She said yes, but when she brought them, she had a very obvious attitude. When my friend asked for a water, she brought it over and slammed it on the table with the same rude attitude. I understand that restaurants can be understaffed and busy, but that is not an excuse to be rude or disrespectful to customers. It's very unfortunate that the employees don't wear name tags because this host definitely needs to work on being more respectful and professional. Sadly this establishment brought me nothing but pure anger and disgust, I brought my family to get breakfast at this dennys and i can only say my server was the only positive part of my time. They brought us our food and my son had cold eggs while their bacon was far from acceptable, i asked for crispy bacon and they completely disregarded it for my son, and that's not even half of the issue. We ordered a Southwest Skillet and an eggs Benedict w/ a side of pancakes. I was slightly disappointed that the shredded cheese wasn't melted on top and the cheese on the edges were sizzling. Lucy also checked on us many times. I ordered the American slam with the gluten free English muffin. It was great and I enjoyed my meal. My sister ordered the build your own slam with: eggs, pancakes, sour dough toast, sausage and bacon. She enjoyed her meal. I was there yesterday and I ordered a veggie burger. They didn't tell me they didn't have veggie patties until my friends' food was almost done and when the waiter told me he asked if I wanted a regular patty instead and I said no bc I can't eat meat and he kind of interrupted me and said "I promise it won't kill you". I felt like that was pretty rude to say, but I brushed it off and asked if I could see the menu again. I just ended up ordering an appetizer and a side instead. They didn't take that long to come out but I still had to sit there for a while after my group already got their food and it was kinda awkward.
