Barbeque chicken but no chicken sandwich. Go somewhere else if you want a decent value

I absolutely used to love panera a decade Ago it was a great, now the food is meh Okay. They've gotten very stingy A 1/2 sandwich is about 4 inches. And the ingredients are mostly sauce. They put like 4 tiny piecs of 1x1 inch pulled chicken on a 4 inch x3inch

Using my Roku remote for scale, the apple Panera gave me is minuscule!

I don't think Panera even earns one star, but I had to choose one to leave this review. First of all, I had to wait at the drive thru order speaker for about five minutes until someone took my order. I paid over $40.00 for two super small smoothies, two HALF sandwiches and a soup. Way too overpriced. When I got home to enjoy my meal, I was met with dry, tasteless sandwiches, a cold soup, and a smoothie that was full of ice and not properly blended. I will NEVER eat here again. I don't believe the future looks too bright here in Redding for Panera. Redding has loads of other sandwich shops that are lightening years better than Panera. I wish I could get my money back, because going here was like throwing it down the toilet.

Idk what everyone is complaining about this tastes delicious and I was served with super positive energy. Yall complain so much you're bringing down a business that just opened for what? It tastes delicious don't let the reviews deter you. 10/10 I got 2/2 half salad half sandwich best deal.

I'm not sure if it's only me or if anyone else got the same experience of dramatically reducing the size of the food with overpriced items. I'm a big fan of Panera Bread but not this one in Redding. I went today Monday 2/5/24 and ordered Baja bowl with chicken the whole size -not half- then I received the order as if I ordered only half so I questioned after I showed them what I did order with the photo on their website vs what I actually got. They insisted that's the right order. It was $14 for half of the size of what I just ordered last week. I showed them the advertised photo vs what I received and they just said yeah it doesn't have tomato. While in fact the whole portion is much less. I'm very disappointed and not coming back I'm not surprised that this location has a rating of 1-2 stars only but it seems they don't really care !!

    Tomato soup with tuna sandwich.

Possibly one the worst Panera Breads I have eaten at. Ordered soup and sandwich. Soup was Luke warm and the amount of meat of meat on the sandwich was minuscule. If you want quality Panera, head down to Chico.

An hour wait when it wasn't very busy. No Panera is worth that. Many workers so should not have been that long of a wait.

The workers were always friendly, the food was always solid, and I had never had a reason to complain. And then... I ordered an 8-inch sandwich through Uber and opened it up to find not one, not two, BUT THREE LONG BLACK HAIRS IN MY SANDWICH. Three. Not "oops, maybe a stray hair fell in by accident" territory. I'm talking about a full-blown hair trilogy. A hair every couple of inches like somebody was out here seasoning my sandwich with their hair. It was beyond disgusting. At that point, it honestly felt impossible to believe this was accidental. How do you get three long hairs in one sandwich, spread out across the whole thing, and nobody notices? Be serious. What made it even worse was that I was stuck in trial all day, couldn't leave to get anything else, and needed lunch so I could function through a long day in court. Instead, I got a stomach-turning surprise and basically lost my meal. I'm not even writing this angry as much as I'm writing it heartbroken. This was one of my favorite places. But after finding three long hairs in a single sandwich, I'm done. I can't unsee that. I can't unread that. I can't un-gross that. Sadly, this was enough to end a one-year relationship. RIP to what used to be one of my favorite lunch spots.

When asking if they use tamari or gluten free soy sauce, she said she wasn't sure and pointed to a list of salad dressing options that were marked. Not their rice bowls toppings - heads up- it's regular soy sauce. Also since I was asking all the gluten free questions, it would have been nice to be informed that the tacos were also served on flour tortillas. Not the cashier or the menu indicated this. Luckily I do not have a severe allergy, or I'd be furious. Obviously this place is a bakery, so there's gluten everywhere. I'm not mad, honestly. Just a little disappointed. Any information is best. I got the chimichurri steak tacos, which are covered in chipotle aioli - I'd honestly rename them to be chipotle steak tacos. Get zero chimichurri, the aioli completely takes over. I do like the steak isn't tough though, so still get some points for the attempt. For me, and my gluten sensitivity, probably won't be back since there aren't many options that are actually gluten free.

I've sat on giving this review for some time now. I don't like giving negative reviews and want to…read moremake sure I give accurate feedback. Let's start with In store ordering is the only way to order from them. The food is really really good, fresh, fairly quick and moderately priced. It's worth the cost for what you get. Ordering Togo can have mistakes and ordering for delivery, well continue reading. Now.... I Would not recommend ordering from their 'From the Hearth' app. When you download it and order from it it seems as though it's an app they monitor and delivery would be private. It's DoorDash that the 'ordering/payment/delivery it actually goes through. Here's where it gets frustrating. On DoorDash app when an order is incorrect you can file a claim and get a refund. You cannot do that with this app, nor is there anyone to help you through From the Hearth side and it's missing the DoorDash side. I've done several home deliveries through the app and mostly items were correct, a few times fries or sauces, added ingredient's to a dish we're missing and we'd than have to go to the store to get them, which is manageable but the experience I'd like to really share is: I made a $175 order to feed my family and friends that were in town. It took over 2.5hrs to finally get delivered to us, it even got delivered to the wrong house and when trying to get it figured out through From the Hearth staff they treated me as if I was lying and would not remake the food nor refund me. The food was literally "missing" and I was told I had to go through the subsidiary (DoorDash) that's when I learned it was not their app and they had no responsibility once it left their store. But really for me, It was the way the From the Hearth staff responded to the incident that truly baffles me and makes me not eat there anymore. I use to frequent the business several times a month, this was extremely rude and made me very disappointed. I would NOT recommend them based on their customer service by this experience.
