I substituted a bagel with my sandwich and I should have asked for it to be toasted, so it was pretty chewy. My sister got a grilled cheese with the tomato basil bread and it wasn't grilled - it was barely toasted so that was a little disappointing. I guess we can't assume when placing orders. The Mexican corn soup was flavorful but too thick to be called a soup - add some broth! The tomato soup was perfection. And my son loved the passionfruit tea. When I tell you this General Manager Kim is the most rude individual I have ever interacted with, I'm not over exaggerating. I made the mistake of ordering a salad and referred to it as a sandwich when ordering my meal through the drive thru. Kim was taking my order and repeated "You wanted a salad with your soup?" I replied with "No mam a sandwich." Mind you the chicken sandwich I ordered was only prepared as a salad unbeknownst to me, my mistake. I take my food and drive off and by the time I get home I realized I received a salad instead of the sandwich. No worries, I drove back 15 minutes up the road and politely ask if I can have the sandwich instead. Kim declines saying it's against policy to receive the food back, which I understand. Then I politely ask for a refund, Kim declines that as well. I ask what are my options because I'm dissatisfied and I almost spent $18 on a salad I didn't want, soup and cookie. She replies "you'll have to buy sandwich." I'm not gonna spend over $24 on a sandwich, soup and cookie. Kim proceeds to have a shouting match with me stating I'm yelling at her and cutting her off. It was the most bizarre interaction I have had with an individual and I work in behavioral health so that's saying something. She goes on to tell me to leave her store and don't come back. This location has become one of our main locations we like to enjoy our usual, the soup is always hot and the sandwiches always have fresh green and nothing welted or discolored. The drink station can be wiped down a little but other than that my table and seats were clean:)! Panera rocks out! I love the options they provide in ordering. They have rapid order kiosks upfront, online or face to face options. If in doubt on your order status, they have an electronic board to let you know if they are preparing your food or it is ready. Fresh ingredients are the foundation of this great semi-fast food restaurant. Their lettuce for their Chicken Caesar Salad was crisp. The chicken was flavorful. The salad was dressed well and finished with fresh Parmesan. I enjoyed their baked onsite baguette with their Chicken and Wild Rice Soup. Great texture, almost a chowder. Their Tomato Bisque is always a winner among my family. We carried out our order this time. I got the almond chicken salad sandwich take out. when I brought it home I seriously had maybe three table spoons of salad on a whole sandwich. The manager was very nice and admitted the portions can be light but I told him if this is their portions then it a rip off for a 9 dollar sandwich.. There was one okayed-feedback out of the five orders (1 of 5 people) said it was "not bad!" The other four were, "Not good!" Sandwiches were soggy and don't taste good. The breads come as side were hard. Five sandwiches, none of them were marked, so we have to open each one to trying figure which sandwich for who. The chicken soup was a total miss ! Out of all the Panera Bread that I've ever been to this one is definitely the worst. And it's the truth. And it's the young people it's not the older people that work there. It's definitely the younger people standing around on their phone having attitudes and I just don't have the energy to get all Karen with a 20 Something. I want to know who owns this establishment do they know that their employees stand around on their phone? Do they know that every single order is incorrect? I tried to give these children the benefit of the doubt like today. I ordered a rapid pick up and of course it was incorrect. You had extra time to make sure the order was correct and you still messed it up that shows me you don't care, but you really could care less as long as you get paid.
