I really like Panera. I've had positive experiences at this location. The staff are pleasant. The food are good.

DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION, the management here does not know how to deal with paying customers and I can't imagine how they treat their employees, specifically the manager "Arby". I placed an order online and I picked it up. After getting home from picking it up I notice I was missing a broccoli cheddar soup, we called the establishment stating this and they said we could come to the drive through and pick up the order. My mother in law, who is Hispanic, and her English isn't perfect but is understandable did the favor of going to pick it up only to be discriminated and made feel like a liar by the manager, who after asking for her name several times told me it was "Arby, like the meat." First they wouldn't give her the order because she wasn't "Chris", after my wife picked it up perfectly with no issues. After I had to speak to them on the phone they finally gave her the soup only to notice it was filled 1/3 of the way!!! At this point I head back to the store with my wife for the 3rd time, and tried talking to the manager only to be screamed at and had the food thrown across the table at me. She stated that she didn't care, she would talk to everyone who would complain like this because it was the middle of the pandemic. The whole experience was just out of hand this could of gone a complete different way, but the fact that's what made my mom feel like a liar or a thief is just poor costumer service from a manager. I would hate to think that we were treated like this because of skin color and/or her broken English. But at this point I see no other explanation for the treatment we both received. Im only giving this restaurant a 1 star because it wouldn't allow me to do no stars. On Saturday 01/18/23 I did an online order for the pick 2 soup and salad combo and a drink.My husband went to pick it up I noticed on the emailed receipt that the order was in correct so I called him.I wanted a soup and I customized the Greek salad to add more things to it. Somehow my soup order was kicked off and it did a customized Greek salad and 1 regular Greek salad.I asked my husband to speak with someone who could change this for me since it was incorrect mind you this was while he was still at the restaurant, he never left. The associate amayra started yelling that she wasn't changing anything that it was my mistake we even explained the situation and she still refused saying she didn't have to do anything for us, she said that she would have to throw it in the trash which she wasn't going to do my husband even offered to just buy the soup and she refused. All while I'm in the phone with him I could hear the interaction finally I told him to just leave with both salads it was fine in which he proceeded to do then she threatened to call the police which upset my husband due to us having already pain for something and not having a good customer service experience so he told her that he wanted a refund and didn't want any of it she refused and she called the police. My husband stayed and waited for the police explained what happened and they couldn't even figure out why she made it so difficult to fix the order the police asked her to do a refund in which we had to get a case# in case she never did the refund. All I wanted was a soup and salad due to me not feeling well and this was the way we were treated we will not be supporting this location or spending our hard earned money there. read more

So I drive to Panera bread and wanted to go through the drive-through but the cones were placed there. this was around 2:30 PM. I go inside to ask about the cones and Linda was very rude when telling me they were shorthanded. I understand the frustration but being rude to your customers it's not a way to handle it. She was definitely struggling entering the order in the cash register so she called somebody over to her. Once the other lady came over to assist her her attitude improved she even threw a smile in there. come to find out she was still being trained. I was in shock. You mean to tell me you're this rude and you haven't even barely started this job? she had zero patience and looked rather mean and irritated. another lady ended up helping me with my order. While I was waiting for my grilled cheese, Linda began to help another customer. He asked her what Comes with the sandwich stuff sandwich ?and her reply was "the stuff that come on the sandwich" . The customer said no does it come with a drink or chips? She said yes he said well that's what I meant and she rolled her eyes. So Linda being rude definitely wasn't personal to me because she began to be rude to every customer. She is an older woman And should not be dealing with customers as she is extremely rude! I cannot believe how desperate we are for workers as nobody wants to work so these rude impatient people are hired. I was in a good mood and was not going to say anything to Linda but maybe somebody needs to talk to her and tell her being rude to the customers is not part of the job. read more

This Place (Stone Hill, PFLUGERVILLE, Location) is a total joke, and has gone way down hill in the past 1-3 years!... especially management and untrained employees! They screw up your order every time online and try to calm you down with a free donut! The management at this location, namely Martin Sosa &/or Meagan couldn't care less about Cust. Svc & are quick to blame the "customer" for all THEIR inadequacies, And are quick to offer a refund instead of satisfying your hunger needs! My husband and I enjoy eating at Panera Bread, but tonight was different. The booth seats were ripped and the table was wobbly, so we found a different one with ripped seats too, but the table was sturdy. I noticed I got chips instead of a baguette. My husband went back to inquire about it and was told, "We are out of baguettes. If you don't want the chips, I can get you something else." - no apology. I decided to exchange the chips for a fruit cup - again no apology. Then, we noticed our Caesar salad was not Romaine lettuce. I went to inquire and was told, "If you got the other lettuce, then we ran out." - again no apology. Later, I went back to ask for extra dressing to mask the other lettuce - still no apology. We were almost done, when we were approached by an employee that said, "We have been closed for 12 minutes now. You can... but it's no big deal!" This place is literally the worst. I keep coming back hoping for... I'm not sure what, but I am constantly disappointed. Tonight takes the cake. Drive through closed, all kiosks closed, can't order online, so you HAVE to go inside and order with someone. They messed up our ENTIRE order, for the millionth time. I pulled up the website, to ensure I was ordering the correct item, because the inside menus is totally different than the drive through menu. No photos and completed different order with items missing. They messed up and gave us a salad instead of a sandwich, one sandwich was no pepper, peppers were still there, and last a sandwich with no cheese, guess what was on it? Cheese. Ridiculous. Also, their drinks are terrible. If you go to other locations in Austin they taste completely different. And to top things off, while inside there were nats all over the baked goods. Yuck. I'm done. The worst Panera I have ever been too. Like warm soup, cheese not even melted. Took it back, the cook tells me, I see steam, I was like, WTF? Can you please heat it up. Service was horrible. I stopped and got my lunch before work only to get to work and my order was wrong even though the receipt on the bag was correct. I simply ordered a sandwich with no lettuce and tomato. Only to get a sandwich that had what I didn't want. So I had to go back over there on my lunch break and they were very rude when I told them the issue. They have a sign that reads if your order is not correct just let an associate know and we will make it right and give a free treat for your inconvenience. It never fails. My food is wrong EVERY.SINGLE.TIME that I order from here. It's not errors from hearing me incorrectly because I always use the app and rapid pickup. It's sheer laziness and the expo not checking orders because there is something left out my order or there is an item that is just glaringly wrong every time. There was legit two tables when I just walked in at 2:05 and one guy walked in before me to order food. I ran out to Panera to grab soup for someone who is sick with a super low appetite. When they finally decided they wanted something to eat I chose to come to Panera since, by their standards "[they] Believe that good food can bring out the best in all of us". This restaurant is supposed to have " clean food in a warm, welcoming environment" but here's my issue: When I walked into the establishment, that prides themselves to be the leader in fast and healthy food, it was 8:40 PM. It was the one single place that I trusted to be friendly and have a good soup. When I walked in I was not greeted, and the two girls that were behind the counter actually turned around making smart remarks. I realized they close at 9 PM when I heard a rude worker behind the counter state it loudly under her breath. That blew me away. So, what, you close at 9 PM. Cool. However, it's not 9 PM so the people that walk into your establishment and expect great service should still get it from the time your doors open to the time your doors close. That's your JOB, just like it's my job to be nice and use my hard earned money to pay for my food. I was never rude. I actually was getting food to go and not sitting but had I not needed that soup for someone in that very moment, I would have turned around due to the terrible customer service and went somewhere else. That was totally unacceptable and blew me away! Customers keep the doors open at establishments. If you can't work in the restaurant industry without being this way, please don't. You are the forefront of your company being that you are face-to-face with customers every day. You make or break your customers experience, and mine was was broken! I cannot tell you how much I regret walking in to spend my money and that's the service I get! Wow! And I wasn't able to get the girls name but whoever she was did have to go and clean the restrooms tonight...which is why I decided not to use the restroom while I waited for my food. I'm not a big fan of some of my past experiences with other Panera Bread restaurants but this one proved I was right to not try again. I ordered something simple like a vanilla latte and a cookie. The cookie was hard and old and the latte tasted like warm, overly foamy milk. I couldn't taste the espresso or the vanilla. I looked around the restaurant while waiting and the areas to get drinks and the garbage areas were filthy and sticky looking. I won't be going back again. read more

My order was over $50 at this location tonight. They got my order wrong by missing one of my soups. When I get home to eat my meal with my family, the sandwiches are totally unappetizing. They were thrown together like a $2 hockers outfit. The meat is all bunched up like a damn meat yoga ball in the middle of this burnt bread sandwich. I am so disappointed. Panera used to be a place where you could get a nice meal for an affordable price. Whoever is regional manager of this location needs to swoop in and quickly! Food is decent but a bit expensive. Be ready to microwave your own bagel and spread your own frozen butter. Be aware of misleading signage. Apparently, your "pick 2" tomato soup does not come in a bread bowl contrary to the sign showing (and stating) tomato soup in a bread bowl. read more

Yesterday I ordered a bottled lemonade with my lunch and I didn't notice until I was already at work that the bottle was bloated/rounded and according to the date it was over a week expired (exp July 23rd). I just came back in this morning and the guy at the register let me trade it for a new one no problem. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the Creamy Tomato Soup was on point. I was leery of how fast my food was ready in the drive thru. I should have checked the bag to make sure everything was right but instead I drove back to work and with only 30 minutes to eat I expected my order to be correct but the Chicken Greek Salad I ordered had no chicken and I certainly didn't have the time to drive back to have them fix it. After being put on hold for several minutes, the lady manager accused me of LYING. She said she was the one that made the salad and she's pretty sure she put chicken on it. Wow! After explaining that I didn't have time to drive back, she offered a free salad next time I come in. Since the salad was extremely less than par, I felt a refund should be issued. When I suggested a refund she abruptly put me on hold again and had someone else take care of the refund. I was pretty disappointed with my recent trip to Panera Bread. I ordered the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich. When I unwrapped it, it looked like just two slices of bare bread on top of each other. When I opened it, I saw the smallest scoop of chicken salad, a sad tomato and a sad piece of lettuce. I'm really impressed with how smoothly their opening weekend was. Granted, the food took longer than usual to come out, but it was fresh, the bread was warm, and everything was just as good as you'd get from any other Panera. I like their design of the restaurant - it's very spacious, lots of seating, and the tables aren't crowded next to each other. It feels very open, which I really like! The food was great too, I was expecting something to go wrong (they've only been open for a few days folks) but everything we ordered was correct. They even warmed up the bread that came with our meals - it makes a huge difference. I was impressed. Last evening was the first time I used the drive up window. I ordered 2 bowls of soup, the chicken tortellini alfredo and the four cheese grilled cheese sandwich. With the soup you get a side of bread. I specifically requested whole grain rolls which was confirmed by the person who took the order, only to find I got French baguettes. Also to my disappointment when I got home with the wrong bread, a cheeseless grilled cheese (it had cheese but you had to look for it) plus the bread was barely grilled. Not good. The soup was a measurable one cup not a bowl. A cup of soup would have been so small? The chicken tortellini is in a very small container. I paid about $31.00 for this terrible, tasteless dinner. Very disappointed with Panera. The chicken tortellini alfredo had little flavor and one small piece of white chicken meat. They were, note past tense, my go to restaurant especially when traveling. I was glad to see it opened locally. This was not isolated to the drive up. I ate lunch there a few times and the order was always incorrect. They fix it right away but I do not want to return my order every time. I will not be going back. read more

The physical store is nice enough. Well laid out and clean. The "tracker" system to get food to you is good. Helps keep food warm when they don't have to search for you. Those are the reasons for the 2 stars. The food / value was terrible. 1 star. I ordered a lentil quinoa "bowl" with egg. It was actually more of a soup with mostly broth and very little substance. Very little soup at that. A total rip. PS. I paid with a fifty dollar bill and got change back for a twenty. I immediately said so and it was fixed but that's not cool. I am a big fan of Panera especially this location but the service and food today was disappointing. We ordered Mac N Cheese for my lil one who loves Panera's Mac n cheese, but when the food came it was half the quantity then normal and it was cold as if it was sitting there for long time. When asking the server about the quantity of the food her response was " you ordered kids size, this is how much you will get". I was disappointed with her answer as I knew food wasn't enough for my son as it was hardly 4 spoons. Manager is extremely rude. I worked in a food industry for nearly a decade. I understand you were short staffed, I understand it was probably a stressful day. That's no excuse for you to take it out on a customer. I told two people my name, and tried to ask about my online order, and was told my order will be out soon and just got blown off. And anybody who knows me knows I have social anxiety, I stood at that counter for five plus minutes with workers going to and fro and looking at me, I just trying to ask somebody about my order. I had gotten a confirmation that my order was ready and yet it wasn't there. It wasn't a big deal, all I wanted to make sure was my order didn't get lost. I get it, it happens, I can't tell you how many orders got lost while I worked at the food industry. When somebody finally asked me while standing at the counter they were extremely rude, and told me it would be out when it would be out and that they had been there for 10 and a half hours and they were short staffed and there's a sign on the door and I just needed to be patient. I asked again, I'm just wondering about how long will be. It had already been 20 minutes, and I just wanted to know. He again got agitated, and told me that he had just told me that it would be a moment and to be patient. I just got a refund, and left. This was the first time I've ever left a restaurant crying. I have never had somebody so rudely talk to me, over something that could have very easily been resolved. Awful customer service, and will never be back. read more

Yeayyy!!! So excited this Panera finally opened! Things to try: butternut squash soup, souffles, broth bowls, frontega chicken panini Imo, the only underwhelming thing is the salads - good concepts, but usually unfilling portions and never enough dressing. I'm hoping it's just new opening kinks to be smoothed out, but they need to step up their game on coordinating operations: 1) When dining in for breakfast they forgot to bring my souffle out, even after my husband had gotten his breakfast sandwich. I had to go up to the bakery and ask for it. Then I had to go up a second time because they didn't give me a fork. 2) When ordering pick-up online they mostly got our order right, except they forgot to include a bag of chips for one of the entrees. 3) When eating dinner at 7pm on a Thursday they forgot to bring us out chips again!!
