We have been feeling this Panera store here starting to slip but today was the total landslide in what would be poor customer service. First off every time we order your talking about $50 in food. Well lately food has been coming cold. Then one order was completely sloppy and thrown together. A lot of times out of the bread I want but ok I get it scratch bakery suppose to run out. Well today we placed a dinner order and when the order came, my wife's bread bowl was missing for her soup. So when I called back to the store I was placed in a brief hold and was told by the cashier that her manager told her that they can not send out the bread bowl but I could come and pick it up and get a free meal. How do you tell a customer that you won't give them what they ordered and payed for? This store and its customer service has gone completely down hill. read more

The food is good - but it's the same exact thing you'd get at any Panera. What sets one Panera apart from another is the service - and this location is lacking in customer service skills. I ordered lunch for myself and my husband through their site. The food was ready on time, however the order was not accurate. In store, I realized that they forgot to give me my side of salad dressing. There are signs everywhere touting their accuracy and want to make things right. I brought this up to a cashier who then just went to the back and grabbed a side of dressing and resumed talking to the cashier next to her. Ok then. Once I got home, I noticed that the bread that I had requested to be sliced thin was not sliced at all. I called and spoke to a manager named Martin. He said that the system frequently does not tell them how to slice the bread, so I needed to put that in the comment section too. I ordered it correctly, per my ticket. He said to bring it back to them and they'd slice it. That's 20 minutes out of my way. I requested that he refund me instead - to which he said he'd just take care of me next time. To just tell someone next time I'm there that Martin said to just take care of my bread. What?!?! I contacted Panera via their online chat, only to find out that this location is owned by a franchisee. Oh hooray. read more

Love panera. They have really good sandwiches and salads. My 6 year old son loves their grilled cheese and the chocolate chip muffy.

Diaaster from the beginning. Although close to end of Breakfast time, we could not get a number of items on the Menu. Two types of bread, Croissant not available , could not make sure egg was "over hard" and then after we got our order input, the attendant lost it all and had to start over...without apology. Then after we did get food, one "sandwich" did not have cheese and was super greasy. And... & $20+ for two people for poorly prepared food. This is the third time we have had similar problems. While visiting this location I placed a very simple order -- a strawberry banana smoothie. I would think that it was common sense to wear gloves when handling food, especially during a pandemic like COVID 19. After watching through the drive thru window and seeing her fix her hair, then wipe her hands on her pants, and proceeding to drop my banana into the blender with NO gloves on is just beyond me. After nicely asking to remake the order, I was the given an attitude and asked to pulled forward? Now not knowing if they even made the girl put gloves on or not when making a new one. Absolutely ridiculous. So, like any human I asked for a refund. But to add to it they had to go alll the way back thru the line to even get my refund. So nice to see a Panera in Pflugerville when visiting family, but the pastries are kid sized. Why are the muffins $2.95 but smaller than homemade muffins. The taste was okay but each of the three pastries we bought turned into crumbs after a couple bites. Muffin, Cinnamon Scone, and Coffee Cake all near bite-sized. Isn't this Texas? I'll skip this Panera location until they get on par with the size and shape of a normal Panera pastry. Cannot recommend this location. read more

I keep going back thinking surely the quality and customer service will improve....but service hasn't improved. I simply ordered a salad and I still sat in the drive thru for at least 5 minutes and I see approximately 6 or more staff members on the other end of the kitchen and only see one of them preparing food . I like that you can build a completely custom sandwich online to order. The quality is typically pretty good with Panera in general. The mac 'n cheese is to die for. The 5 stars is more for Panera in general than this particular store. I haven't had an experience that would tempt me to rate below 5. read more

I love Panera bread! I go all the time to many locations. But this location! Oh my gosh, I went on Sunday, jan 13th at about 5:00. Waited for about 15-20 minutes for 2 sandwiches. There was one ticket up on their screen. Slow service. We get the food, it is COLD. Had to send back...Finishing my meal, and the workers behind the line are playing Lil Wayne and I was sitting in the middle of the restaurant.. It was very clear that the manager did not care. I enjoy most of the Panera bread locations that I've been to but the one in Pflugerville probably has the worst customer service ever. I went in and ordered from one of the many kiosks that they have because there were several people in line. We picked up a couple of drinks from the cooler and sat down. The manager brought the food over as well as drinks from the cooler. I mentioned that we already picked them up and I was just missing a large lemonade. He said ok and walked off. Upon his return with a full glass of lemonade this was our conversation: Manager: Did you use the kiosk? Me: Yes, sir. Manager: Well, I did this just to be a nice guy but next time you need to get in line and get a glass. Me: Ok, yes, sir. This is just one small example but I have been here a couple of times and I now get the feeling that nobody wants to work there. I would not recommend this specific location to anyone. read more

Food is as good as any Panera, but I do find that the bagels lack consistency from day today. My biggest complaint is that when I order for pick up, they usually make some mistake or another. This is always a hassle as it requires me to stand in line and try to get it corrected. The ratio of getting it right to getting it wrong it's probably about 50/50. The reason I am writing this is because the manager I discussed this with, gave little regard for the inconvenience and trouble and proceeded to pass the blame to his employees rather than act as a leader and take responsibility for that which he is responsible for. --------------- Update 09/23/2016 The general manager reached out to me about my prior bad experiences. He was generous and offered a meal for the troubles. I went into Panera and ordered in person today. When they notified me that the takeout order was ready, I checked it out and it was once again incomplete! I had to ask staff to correct this. I am only giving them 1 star because this location is clean, which I appreciate other than that this has to be the worst location ever! Every time I come in most likely I go to the drive-through I have to come back inside because they messed up my order if they don't forget something most the time they give me the wrong soup or mess up my sandwich it's such an inconvenience to go to the drive-through have to come back inside for them to remake my order! The other day I was having a rough day and was looking for a nice quiet place to work on my school work. I chose Panera because of past experiences. This time would be no different with their exemplary staff and service. Upon making my way to the counter the young lady behind it greeted me (later to be identified as the GM) and assisted me with my meal selection. During the time it took to select my food a pleasant conversation ensued and when it came time for me to pay for the meal she told me that "I looked like I could use a pick me up" and that she had already paid for the meal. I thanked her profusely and continued about with my meal and school work. The food was great. I had the broccoli cheddar bread bowel and a turkey sandwich with gouda cheese (first time trying gouda cheese). Not only that they always over charge me and never give me a refund. They gave me a receipt that they did something and my bank account never reflect this refund. He was given a smaller take home fowl and told it was the same size. There was no apology or anything. It was basically deal with it. They also never gave us the bagels we ordered to take home. I bought a $5 bowl of mac and cheese and I received an ice cold meal and stale bread.

The staff is so great! The food is always spot on! The restaurant area is always so clean and tidy. But the bathroom needs some attention. I come fairly regularly so I have a good leg to stand on. The paper towels are out frequently, the bathroom hasn't had a good regular cleaning in some time. It's pretty gross. I think the crew hits the "hot" spots but doesn't really do a deep cleaning. Great place just do some detail cleaning. read more

So glad that Panera is in Pflugerville. It's one of the few places to get healthier food in Stone Hill Town Center. It's super easy to order (and customize your order) via the app (for pick up or delivery) or the kiosks inside. They also have a drive through, but I find it easier to order from the app and then walk in to pick up the food. This is one place that all of my kids will agree to eat at. read more

I really like the online delivery option Panera Bread offers, because it really makes things easier for both me and the restaurants. Today the online ordering was being difficult, and I couldn't figure out why. I called in and got someone who wanted me to come in and just order, because she wasn't sure if she could take my order over the phone. After asking to speak to the manager my experience went from total frustration to the best restaurant experience I've had since before the Corona virus started!! I am so happy that Panera is in Pflugerville! So service is great at the new location, but I was super disappointed with the new Kale Salad. It was basically a Caesar Salad with a two sprigs of Kale for twice the cost of the basic Caesar. It just seemed like something was missing. read more
