After stumbling upon the flu last weekend, the only thing that could bring me joy was a Panera Bread Bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup. While picking up a flu test from Target at the Stone Hill Town Center, I placed a mobile order from the Panera Bread there. I could not sign in on the app for some forbidden reason, but I was able to order online through my web browser. Once I put the order in, I got a soup bread bowl and a hot herbal tea. When it was ready, I drove through the drive thru, shared my name for the order, grabbed the food, and drove off. The soup was hot, the bread bowl was excellent, and they put two tea bags in my tea. I think Panera has great soups, but sometimes their efficiency can be hit or miss. This location in Pflugerville always does a great job, and I have no complaints when I need soup on a down day. I love Panera because their baked goods are always fresh and their sandwiches, salads and soups taste truly homemade. On my visit to this Panera I found a clean dining area, efficient servers, and good quality food. I love the pic two option because I can get a taste of a sandwich but enjoy a great soup or seasonal salad along with it and often times I will choose to take bagels or pastries home to eat at a later time. I can't complain. I have 2 free months of sip club so I've been here more than I care to admit. It's fine. They have some good deals like the family breakfast sandwich deal. The spicy avocado chicken on Ciabatta is my favorite. Their cookies are good. When the soup bowls are available they're good. The sip club I probably won't continue on with but it's so smart of them to suck you in! I always do self service. Ambiance: If you need to study, read a book, type things on a laptop and look serious about it - this is your spot. I have a hard time focusing usually on things to do with my laptop but in here, everyone is on a device just doing their thing. It's like a silent group study, except it is not silent and these ppl are strangers. Music is chill though. Easy to tune out or tune in. There's booths, pull out seats for individuals and pairs, big table areas and outdoor seating as well. I'm enjoying strawberry peacock salad currently with a charged fuji apple lemonade. It's ok. This Panera is really a pleasant place to eat the standard Panera fare. Helpful staff were available to take our order and offer suggestions. So while we could have and have used the kiosk system at other Panera locations previously, it was nice to see the human option was alive and well at this store. We sat outside. Like most Panera locations, this one is situated on a pad as an outparcel of a large shopping strip mall. Therefore, your view is pretty much parking lot. But if you're going to Panera for ambience, you've already missed the mark. Our salads were great and prepared quickly. It was your typical "no muss, no fuss" Panera experience. My family and I grabbed breakfast here after arriving in Texas and getting out of the Austin area. I was pleased to see that they had a drive-thru, which we utilized since some of my family members were asleep in the back seat of our car. The staff member was friendly and helpful since he saw that we were carpooling together. Tried to order delivery from here the other day and it was an epic failure! Placed the order and then got a notification after about 50 mins that our food was on the way. After 45 mins later, we live less then a mile away, I started wondering where the delivery was. I checked the location ap they have and the delivery diver didn't even show on the map. I just want to praise the manager, I wish I remembered her name! But I had ordered a next day order for breakfast and for some reason it said it was ready the night I ordered. It was a glitch on the app. The manager this morning did everything to fix the problem and ensure I got my order in a timely matter. I recently joined Panera's unlimited drink club and decided to take advantage of it while on the 130 toll road heading north. First, it's hard to get in and out of this location if you're traveling. So plan to spend some time in Pflugerville traffic. For my purposes, the kiosk worked just fine. In fact, I had no interaction with any Panera staff. Nor did I see anyone. Take that as either a pro or a con, depending on whether you're an introvert or an extrovert. I got some iced tea from the fountain area. The tea itself was good, albeit strong. Hi boycotted Panera bread for years in Chicago after it send me to the hospital for a week. However, this new Panera bread is great. I don't usually get Panera bread since the incident years ago but because I had a cold and noodles and Company doesn't exist in Texas anymore I decided to try Panera bread to get a half soup half sandwich because that's good to have when you have a cold.
