A big fan of Panera and their rapid order on the app! I ordered 3 pastries on rapid order and ended waiting 30 mins before asking for a refund. No one there had a sense of purpose when I inquired about my order. The cashiers are always friendly. We are regulars. The ones that make the drinks conversate too loud to each other, it makes new think that's why our drinks take forever. Today the girl doing the drinks was rude and convertational. My husband ordered a cafe moca and he likes it chocolately so he asks for extra shots. Today he wasn't satisfied so he asked for more chocolate she argued she put enough and he should stir it and he got what he paid for. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. This is what they gave me! I messaged Panera on Facebook. They said someone would call me in 2-3 days. No one called, I wasn't shocked. I messaged again and they gave me a free pastry! My sandwich was basically bread, lettuce and tomato. It was about 3 bites of chicken. I will never go back!!! This is horrible customer service. Ok - Panera is normally a decent place for lunch but today it did not work out that way. I asked the young man in the front a question and all he did is stared at me like he didn't understand. I placed an order, searched for a table, but most were dirty. I asked another young man to clean a table and once again, he just stared at me with no answer. Eventually, patrons were wiping their tables with hand fulls of napkins. Furthermore, my food arrived at the table and it clearly solidified the reasons why I don't eat at Panera; the salad was wilted, the sandwich just ok. My wife had the soba noodle bowl with chicken. She said it was ok, needed some spice and flavor, but edible. I spent over $30 dollars for lunch. I highly recommend Luna Grill next door instead. Their food is fresh, delicious, and a great price. Panera, you do a great job with breads but the rest not so much. I for one will never eat at Panera; however, I will return for breads and pastries. One of the worst Panera's I've been to. Tuna is fishy, bread is stale, you have to ask for a water cup, the lettuce was wilted and brown and dry, tomatoes are green and going bad. The air vents have black mold coming out of them. read more

Have been to this location multiple times and have noticed that the service has gone down in quality every single time. The most recent, my sister and I had the same order, they only brought her meal and didn't acknowledge me or let me know mine will be coming. I waited 5 min then asked them where my order is, they didn't even prepare mine. When they finally brought my order I was missing the bread. I am highly disappointed in this location not only because of the service but because of the cleanliness. The dinning hall was very messy with plenty of tables that were not wiped down, a mother and her child seated next to me had to ask multiple times for her table to be cleaned. Worst Panera I have ever been too. Seriously. They always get a simple order wrong, and by simple I say "add onions and avocado." Also I have seen staff be rude to customers and then proceed to talk about them in front of other customers. Currently sitting in this Panera with no other customers and have been waiting on a bagel sandwich for 20 minutes. It's ALWAYS something. I'm obsessed w a bagel place in Camarillo and ventura but hate the drive since I live in Oxnard. Everyone says to try panera . So I did on Thursday and it was horrible . Is it bc I ordered online ? Does mean I automatically do not get fresh bagels ??? I ordered a variety of individual bagels and a baguette. The baguette was good and tasted fresh but not the bagels . I would have been better off buying them in a bag at Walmart . My order was at 9:15 am and still the bagels were hard as a rock ! Never again . What happened to this place? Went in and ordered a turkey BLT sandwich and I got a almost frozen turkey sandwich with LT and but no B. It had no flavor and was very very very cold. Wasn't even asked what kind of bread I want. The staff seemed more concerned about having conversations with each other. The food is good here. I've gone from having a Frontega Chicken Panini to Chicken broth bowls. I've also had a few of their salads but not fond of the portion size vs. prices. I do like the fact that they offer options of a side item with your meal (bread roll, chips, sourdough bread, apple). When I do happen to dine here I always leave with a large green tea. This location is ok. There was a line of about 4 people when I ordered. It took some time to get my order in with one cashier but he tried to be as efficient as possible. The food came out quickly. Broccoli cheddar soup was warm not hot. Tastes really good though. My salad didn't taste as fresh as I would have liked. Absolute most disappointing, atrocious meal I've ever paid for in my entire life. This is no exaggeration. I order a grilled cheese with tomato soup and say "here" yet received my order as "to go". After annoyingly unraveling my sandwich not only is the bread halfway on and majority of the cheese is stuck on the paper but I received HALF of a sandwich. Which I paid 12 dollars for mind you. Honestly I should've known what I was in for after listening to the teenage "chefs" talk about how much ass, yes ass, direct words from the cooks they saw at the party they were at last night. There was more laughter from them than people in the entire restaurant. It's no wonder only 2 other people were there and one of them had Starbucks. Don't even get me started on the place itself, their seats are ripped with trash all over the floor, and majority of the tables look like they haven't been cleaned since they opened. The bread is dry, the soup was cold and extremely bland, and I had to remind these "chefs" about the drink I ordered that they forgot about probably because of how hungover they were. Horrible overall i got an iced vanilla lattee first of all they over charged me, they barista gave me a smaller cup than i usually get at the other panera in cam and i told her it wasnt the right size she gave me attitude and started getting mad at me for telling her she gave me the wrong cup oh and lets nit forget how she forgot the vanilla i am never coming here again id rather go to starbucks screw this . The cashier was awesome, yes you read that right! She gave me a tip to get more bang for $ taking only my daughters and my oldests ones feiends out this definitly helped me alot. Kids menus vs just a cup of soup. I really loved their clam chowder and bread combo for the kids and it tasted great also! I had the classic chicken salad and it was enough to feed 2 people. The only downside was the smoothies :( total bummer!!!! It tasted more like plain yogurt vs their respective fruit Strawberry and mango so tred with caution as this may very with whoever is making them at the momenr. We ordered 4 things from the lunch menu. Only 2 were brought to the table. We had to ask for everything else. Twice. My grilled cheese sandwich had virtually no cheese. The manager offered to make another. It came back almost no different than the first one! Amazingly easy fix to ensure I'd be back. We're done with Panera. When I got home, I visited the Panera website to express our dissatisfaction; and, requested some response (on their form). We've never received a response. Fri. at 8 am the light coffee was empty. We asked for another and it took a long time to get so it was not even being made. Another woman finally got a different one and said it was "really cold". Unfortunately, as much as I like Panera.....they are very slow, usually only 1-2 people in front. The line is usually long...., if you go after 11 am on the weekends they are usually out of bagels. I an not sure what has happened, their but the last several times I have been their it has not been a good experience. Today, I was in line ordering with my son after waiting 10 minutes. My son ordered 1 plain bagel sliced, and she walked away not saying a word....when I see her packing dozens of bagels that had been ordered for someone else!!!!!... the girl never came back! she was rude and just spacey!!! I eat here often. I use the "Rapid Pickup" option on the app multiple times a week to pick up breakfast/ lunch. After you order, your food should be ready 10 minutes later. However, I've noticed this past month in particular that my order is almost never on time. I don't expect it right on the dot, but when I show up 10 minutes past when it's expected to be done and my order is still not done, it's very frustrating that I need to ask for my order, only to find out it hasn't been started. Very frustrating. I love the food, and it keeps me coming back, but if the convenience of ordering ahead is not going to be as convenient, then I may need to start eating elsewhere to save time, something I don't want to have to do. read more

I go to panera bread all the time. This one was off the freeway so it was easier for me. First time at this location. I walked in and the cashier greeted me with a smile and took my order. Hands me my number to be called. I go fill up my cup with a drink. As I'm waiting for my order the lady who made my sandwich threw a to go back on the counter and yelled something to go. It wasn't the number they have gave me. So I figured she was calling a bus boy or something. She yelled the order one more time. I look around. She raises her eye brows and looks at me and says Sierra turkey. I look at her confused and say my number? And she says yes I get my bag and go back to work.
