Triple Ramen. Delish!
NinaMarie B.

Food is Amazing and delicious. Hot, fresh and again Delicious. Service is amazing always very attentive and friendly. Ambiance is cool walls are cool with paintings of a map of Venrura County. This is one of mine and my partner's main spots for Rice and Ramen. My partner's favorite Appetizer is Gyoza... and this place has some yummy gyozas. And I usually get Fried Rice with their thinly sliced Beef which is Gyudon. There's not enough meat so I have to order extra beef on the side. Ramen wise my go to is The Shushu Ramen. So freaking good. My Partner orders Ramen. She's ordered the WONTON Ramen and the TRIPLE Ramen. Everything is so0o0o go0d! So come thru. :)

Another great dinner here !!! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. The best chicken wings ever "Rock Wings" and the crispy egg rolls were good and fresh. Last but not least, the Garlic Noodles. Unfortunately, I get so excited when they come to the table that I forget to take a picture but they are to die for. I highly recommend this place.

Loved everything about this place! Seated immediately, server was super generous and attentive, the food came out quick but it was super delicious! I love that you were able to add additional protein with the ramen bowls they serve and do different spice levels per bowl. This was our first time here and we loved it. We've tried other ramen places and it doesn't compare to here. Definitely will be coming back!

Very good!! My husbands first time eating ramen and he fell in love!! He got the spicy ramen and it was so flavorful and good!! I got the shu shu ramen it was very good but not as good as his. My dad got the chicken fried rice and it was alright... my son got some regular noodles and his korean potato cheese corn dog which he loved !! Its a smaller restaurant but still very cozy and comfy !! Def a hit when craving something hot esp during this cold weather. Customer service was good as well very sweet and welcoming!

Recommended by family to visit U Ramen and received the kindest service I've had in a while! The server/owners were very nice and accommodating with my group, made me feel welcomed. The broth of the ramen was very rich and flavorful, it hit the spot after such a long day. The chashu pork was overcooked, everything else was spot on. The appetizers were tasty too, recommend the rock wings too (not pictured). If you're in Oxnard and want to check out a delectable menu, try this place!

Had this place saved for the longest and finally got it. It did not disappoint. We ordered our food to go and this was probably the best to go Ramen I've had here in PH/Oxnard! My son DEMOLISHED his teriyaki bowl and the Thai tea was delicious. Definitely worth it.

This location is constantly changing businesses - I think I've seen at least 3 different restaurants in the past 7 years. The menu here is pretty extensive. It's not just Ramen - usually that's a bad sign. Ramen - it was ok. A little pricey, but overall decent. I did appreciate the service. The server was extremely friendly and helpful. I hope they stick around.

Stayed at the courtyard Marriott and attended a wedding next door. Arrived before check-in and was starving. This place brought me back to life after my flight, it was so so good!! I got a mango sticky rice to-go and I savored every single bite. Had to tell all my family about it, would totally go back!

This ramen is surprisingly good, and the staff were so friendly! I wish this was closer to my house, just got it to-go on a business trip.

What are hours of operation? Went by today at 4:45pm since Yelp said "Open until 9:00pm" and it was closed!

On the weekday we are open from 11:00 am-3:00pm 5:00pm-9:00pm… Read more

What time do they open? They don't answer

Went there today Wednesday 9/15/21 @ 8:30pm and the nice young women attending the front area said they close at 8:30pm now since they are short staff and they open at 11:30 am. I assume this is for weekday hours since I didn't verify if it's for… Read more

Great find in Ventura! Asian food has certainly come a looooong way since I was a kid!…read more Was needing a quick bite before swim finals. First, the gal who took our order was super friendly and helpful. The food was really good. Reminded me of We had the original chicken wings, japchae, kimbap, bulgogi bowl and the yuzu and grape ades. All of the dishes were wonderful. Chicken was nice and crispy --good flavor throughout and not greasy at all! The japchae had a great balance of flavors and the shiitake mushrooms, in particular, had really great flavor--must have been marinated for a long time to soak up all the juices! The kimbap was delicious! It was fresh and the pickle in it (Japanese call it takuan, idk what its name in Korean is) was super mild. It didn't overpower the other ingredients. The bulgogi was a solid dish. It had also the glass noodles on one side and plenty of meat and veggies. A good, well-rounded dish. We will come back for bing soo after the kid finishes finals, if it isn't too late! A local regular enthusiastically suggested we try it, so we will be back. The drinks were really delicious as well. Not too sweet and refreshing taste--I think each one is handmade individually. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It has all of the taste of real Korean home cooking at a good price point. You can get quality dishes in a casual in-and-out setting. We will be back for sure!

I recently tried Matna, and overall the experience was just okay. The food wasn't bad, but the…read moreprices felt way too high for what you get. I ordered the bibimbap and some wings. The bibimbap was very standard -- nothing special or memorable about it. It tasted like a typical Korean bibimbap you can get at many other places, but here it was priced at $12.75, while I've seen similar dishes at other restaurants for under $8. The wings were the same story. A small portion of five wings costs $12.99, and while they tasted fine, they were just ordinary Korean fried wings. Nothing about them really stood out to justify the price. Overall, the food is decent, but there's nothing unique or special that makes the higher prices make sense. In my opinion, the only thing that stands out about this restaurant is that it's overpriced for what it offers.

From the…read moreparking lot we could see only one table with a two people, but a large, happy looking, family was exiting with arm fulls of to go bags so we decided to chance it, my partner especially excited for hot pot. We let the group pass us and entered the restaurant. We were promptly seated at a corner table and given menus. It did take a bit for the server to come back to take our order, but we did realize we came in 1/2 hour before closing, so we eased off a bit. My partner order the hot pot and was very happy with his choice. The server came back with a hot plate and instructed us how to cook the meat. I was a bit apprehensive about having to cook my own food, but the fragrant smell as it cooked changed my mind. The broth was flavorful and the veg and meat were tender as they soaked up the soupy goodness. I also ordered the boa buns and the pillowy texture, mixed with the soft pork and crunchy cucumber and carrots made my belly sing. We slurped up our food and cleared out as quickly as we could. I hate being that person that lingers at closing time. What I do regret is that I did not take more time at their counter as we exited because it was full of snacks and curios that I love. Next time for sure!
