    53. Spicy Miso Ramen

Amazing service! Very friendly staff and extremely fast service. Restaurant also seemed very clean/well kept. The food was of course delicious, very hot and fresh too. Five stars!! I got the spicy miso ramen and my husband got the beef chow mein.

I am basing my review on 1 visit, during lunch. There wasn't a line so I was able to be seated immediately. Ambiance- seating inside is generally small tables close together and the dining area is on the smaller side. An open kitchen area is behind the counter, but they also have more kitchen space behind in the back. They layout really reminded me of Tokyo Ramen houses that are designed for solo single eaters (as a lot of Tokyo casual dining is). During my meal, the majority of us at tables were solo eaters, only 1 other table had 2 diners. So I imagine if you're a larger party it, it may be hard to get seating at busier times due to smaller number of tables. Ordered- Tokatsu ShuShu ramen. The noodles were springy and bouncy. The broth is creamy and tasty. I still think I really enjoy Silverlake Ramen's Tonkatsu broth (I don't know what their secret ingredient is that makes it unique) but URamen's is still satisfying. I had 4 pieces of Chashu, 1/2 of a seasoned soft boiled egg. The yolk is seasoned in a very sweet sauce- interesting taste. They add a wonton crisp which is unusual for Ramen bowl! I would've like nori crisp but that's ok. Service- One server was taking care of the lunch crowd. The owners are Thai, and I believe the server is also Thai. She was quite polite. Usually I think most Thai restaurants offer that super kind, and humble service to customers. (I say this as Korean Ame, it's noticeably different than immigrant run Korean or Chinese or Vietnamese restaurants) I do prefer the taste of Silverlake Ramen, BUT they have even more limited seating. The parking and access here is easier and quicker than going to the Collection Annex, so I think this is another solid Ramen place. Note- They are closed on Mondays, and closed between 3-5pm everyday. The first time I came, was during their closed time.

My family loves stopping here whenever we're heading back home, it's become a tradition. The ramen is out of this world. The broth alone is so rich and flavorful, I could honestly drink it by itself. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can tell they put care into every dish. The pork, noodles, and that perfectly cooked egg are my absolute favorites in the ramen. It all comes together like comfort in a bowl. The place is spotless, and the staff are always so friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. We make sure to arrive with empty stomachs because we know we'll want to eat a lot and leave with our bellies (and hearts) completely full. If you're looking for delicious ramen and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot!

Food is Amazing and delicious. Hot, fresh and again Delicious. Service is amazing always very attentive and friendly. Ambiance is cool walls are cool with paintings of a map of Venrura County. This is one of mine and my partner's main spots for Rice and Ramen. My partner's favorite Appetizer is Gyoza... and this place has some yummy gyozas. And I usually get Fried Rice with their thinly sliced Beef which is Gyudon. There's not enough meat so I have to order extra beef on the side. Ramen wise my go to is The Shushu Ramen. So freaking good. My Partner orders Ramen. She's ordered the WONTON Ramen and the TRIPLE Ramen. Everything is so0o0o go0d! So come thru. :)

    35. CRISPY EGG ROLL

Another great dinner here !!! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. The best chicken wings ever "Rock Wings" and the crispy egg rolls were good and fresh. Last but not least, the Garlic Noodles. Unfortunately, I get so excited when they come to the table that I forget to take a picture but they are to die for. I highly recommend this place.

    51. SHU SHU RAMEN with a side of chasu 24. KARAAGE 82. Beef TERIYAKI BOWL

Food and service was great! The servers was Thai so they had desserts and a little thai food mixed in the menu

Loved everything about this place! Seated immediately, server was super generous and attentive, the food came out quick but it was super delicious! I love that you were able to add additional protein with the ramen bowls they serve and do different spice levels per bowl. This was our first time here and we loved it. We've tried other ramen places and it doesn't compare to here. Definitely will be coming back!

Very good!! My husbands first time eating ramen and he fell in love!! He got the spicy ramen and it was so flavorful and good!! I got the shu shu ramen it was very good but not as good as his. My dad got the chicken fried rice and it was alright... my son got some regular noodles and his korean potato cheese corn dog which he loved !! Its a smaller restaurant but still very cozy and comfy !! Def a hit when craving something hot esp during this cold weather. Customer service was good as well very sweet and welcoming!

Recommended by family to visit U Ramen and received the kindest service I've had in a while! The server/owners were very nice and accommodating with my group, made me feel welcomed. The broth of the ramen was very rich and flavorful, it hit the spot after such a long day. The chashu pork was overcooked, everything else was spot on. The appetizers were tasty too, recommend the rock wings too (not pictured). If you're in Oxnard and want to check out a delectable menu, try this place!

Stopped here while I was heading back home and the food was delicious I'm not so much of a ramen eater but this place kinda changed my mind I was hoping there would be a U ramen in LA but definitely we'll be eating here anytime I am in this area!!

Had this place saved for the longest and finally got it. It did not disappoint. We ordered our food to go and this was probably the best to go Ramen I've had here in PH/Oxnard! My son DEMOLISHED his teriyaki bowl and the Thai tea was delicious. Definitely worth it.

Also, since this was my first time I wanted to try something else and the worker, Judy was extremely helpful. She told me all the popular items that people have been ordering lately and I've decided to go with the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken. I'm so glad she recommended it because it was one of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in a long time. Now the inside of the restaurant itself is another great factor. Has a nice modern interior design with a nice shade of yellow. Exceptionally clean and had great Korean music playing. Overall, from walking in to leaving, one of the best services Ive had in a while. If you live in the area of Ventura, I highly recommend you go check this spot out. I'd give this spot more than five stars if I could!

The grilled chicken and pork must've been marinated for a long time as the flavors were in every bite of meat and grilling was spot on without being burned. The fish sauce for the vermicelli bowl and broken rice plate was nicely balanced, a tasty pour over for our dishes. The carrots and daikon were sweet and sour without being overpowered by the vinegar. Overall well executed and served meals. Staff were busy but delivered on service. It did take a bit for the server to come back to take our order, but we did realize we came in 1/2 hour before closing, so we eased off a bit. My partner order the hot pot and was very happy with his choice. The server came back with a hot plate and instructed us how to cook the meat. I was a bit apprehensive about having to cook my own food, but the fragrant smell as it cooked changed my mind. The broth was flavorful and the veg and meat were tender as they soaked up the soupy goodness. I also ordered the boa buns and the pillowy texture, mixed with the soft pork and crunchy cucumber and carrots made my belly sing. We slurped up our food and cleared out as quickly as we could. She indicated I could sit wherever I wanted. I ordered the cashew nut with shrimp lunch special and water. Food came out very fast. It was presented nicely on a plate. The small bowl of soup was tasty, it had a peppery and garlicky flavor. However I wished it was more hot as the temperature felt just above warm but not hot. The egg roll tasted ok, but was small and the skin was a bit thick. For the cashew nut with shrimp, there were only three shrimp. At first I didn't see any cashew nuts as I was expecting to see whole or halves cashew nut, however I realized in this dish they were crushed, it was just a little bit difficult to find due to the dark sauce. The salad was finished in a few bites. Although the heart shaped rice was cute, I could definitely eat another one or at least half. After finishing everything in my meal I did not feel full. I also did not get my water. Second visit: 4/5 I was greeted by the lady and this time she recognized me from my first visit. She seemed much more friendly and welcoming this time. This time I ordered off the regular menu instead of the lunch specials. I got the spicy basil leaves with chicken and the avocado salad. At first I was worried about the spice level but this dish was not spicy at all, it had more of a tangy flavor. The à la carte portion does seem bigger than the lunch special. It still came with the same heart shaped rice. The avocado salad was ok. I started using the dressing on the salad but ended up using more of the peanut sauce instead. For me it made the salad taste much better. The lady was very kind to give me a complimentary cup of their house soup, even though my order did not come with it. I also got my water this time. Overall the food tasted good. May need to order an appetizer to feel more satisfied. I would still be back when in this area.
