I thought I would treat myself to a cool, refreshing smoothie today at Panera. I wholeheartedly regret this decision! I was asked what size and I told her, a large. Apparently they have one size only, and I am SHOCKED!!!!!! It is about 8 ounces, 12 max! Here is a photo for comparison. The can of diet coke is 12 ounces. I will NEVER step foot in a Panera again. I was going to get a cookie as well, but the cookies were $6 each. ONE cookie $6. The smoothie was $7. I can buy the ingredients and make everyone at work a smoothie for $7! RIP OFF!

This store is always out of bread, even early in the day, seems like an issue with management.

(Parts from original review 10/13/2022) * OMGOODNESS!…read more We soooo enjoyed our meal here. This restaurant serves up huge portions and extremely delicious Mediterranean fare. I'm always taking food home. The fresh vegetables they served in our salads were positively the freshest we've enjoyed outside of our home. The Lamb was magnificent! Also the falafel and the hummus were the best we've ever had. Smooth and savory, without being too acidic and overpowering with lemon. The entire meal was unforgettable in a great way! We'll be loyal patrons for life! So glad they opened this location so close to our home. They also serve up the best fresh squeezed lemonade ice ever had... I ordered the mint flavored lemonade. However, they have cherry, strawberry, and blueberry as well.. all fresh made to order. Only one size... about 32 ounces... also enough to share! We highly recommend at "any hour", always hot, and always fresh to order! A must try!

Using Yelp to find a healthy lunch for myself and some fellow pickleball moms, I came across Jerusalem Cafe. It was super close to the venue, I could order online, and it had some delicious looking options. Plus in addition to the great reviews, I saw a local family enjoying their Jerusalem Cafe order which cemented my decision. I went with a Greek Salad + Chicken Gyro for myself and ordered a "Build a Bowl" for one friend and another Greek Salad another friend. I also ordered a hummus with veggies for us to share. Everything was ready for pick-up when I arrived. Service was friendly and I found the pricing to be fair - especially for the large portions. It was around $45 total for all of the above. We enjoyed everything we ordered as well as the pita it came with. Was it the best I've ever had? No. Was it perfect for the occasion. Absolutely. I would definitely consider ordering from here again or even dining in as the restaurant is fast casual, offers plenty of parking, and appeared clean. Thanks Jerusalem Cafe!

First day of a new job Lunch!…read more New to this side of town and stopped in here for a little comfort of something I recognized. The Atmosphere - Well it was clean and tidy. Again there is little personality to most locations these days yet the functionality and the ability to clean quickly is at a premium. But, there is little about the restaurant that is comfortable or memorable. So this gets the standard 3 stars. The Staff - I had the good fortune to interact with several of the staff members this time. And ALL of them were extremely nice, kind, and friendly. They went out of their way to check on me several times and remind me that I could get a refill on my drink. They gall at the checkout even offered to bring me the desert that I had on rewards that was set to expire soon. Some of the best Customer Service I have seen in a while. - 5 stars. The Food - Well this is the number one reason to swing in. They have a number of great creations and options to pick more than one. They do let you customize a sandwich should you want. I think this is as good as it gets (unless you head to a "real" deli where YOU decide what is on the sandwich. This visit I had the Pick 2 (which is common) where I had a fantastic Club sandwich and a Chef salad. Pretty healthy over all. (I used extra dressing and ate brookie bites so scratch the healthiness). 4 stars Overall - This was a fantastic visit to an old favorite. The food could have just a little more wow... and by now you all know how I feel about the clean/institutional look and feel of eateries. A perfect lunch space. I'll be back often as they are good, healthyish, and close.

However, the food was lacking. We have had the pot roast nachos many time before, and this visit, it was lacking several toppings (Cheese, corn) and very little pot roast and peppers. Looked like they tried to cover it with sauce thinking we would not notice. We did run into issues with Service in previous visits - waitress cursing about the soda machine, forgot to add an entree and offered "well, i have a couple extra carrot cakes in the back". Oh gee, I'm glad we are getting scraps for her lack of ability. We haven't seen that waitress since out last awful interaction with her, so hopefully she is no longer there.

The butter was super fluffy and light and the bread was a great crunchy texture, but other than that I feel like it lacked that extra flavor to take it up a notch. We also tried the calamari which was pretty good. For my entree I had the Romano chicken alla vodka. It was genuinely so so good! I feel like the ambiance was okay, it was packed and really loud but I figure that's just because it was a holiday. It was also weirdly dark in there which I'm not a fan of. Our waiter was nice but smelled like he just got back from smoking a cigarette every time he came to the table.

Upon doing some research I learned it's a scratch kitchen specializing in clean eats, and that it's a chain. A win for the health options, a ding for the chain, but not all chains are bad, an we are living in a time where there are some winners. So, I packed myself up and headed down the road to Prairie Village. It's still fairly new, and it has that squeaky clean feeling to it when you arrive. Inside it's counter service and you seat yourself (they will bring the food to you). It kind of reminded me of how Noodles and Company felt when they first became a thing way back in the early 2000s. I ordered a thai salad that came in at under 400 calories so I was honestly skeptical at how big or flavorful it would really be when it arrived, and holy cow was it good. The chicken was cold, but still held some flavor, the dressing was great, there were fresh veggies, pickled onions. It was one of the best 400 calorie meals I've had in a long time. My dad ordered the salmon curry and he also enjoyed his though I didn't try it so jury's out on my opinion! I left full and happy to have discovered this spot. I'll be back soon!

The fire roasted veggies were not seasoned except for a bit of turmeric but it didn't really have a taste. Overall the food was good and very fresh but the price was a bit high.

When we told her it was our first visit to the restaurant, she took the time to carefully go over the menus with us (regular, happy hour, and drinks), providing her recommendations when we asked. Her guidance was spot-on-target! For drinks, I had a Mindful Chai and my friend had the 3-Beverage Flight (Golden Hour, Heart Says Thanks, and Tres Raices). My chai was the BEST I have ever tasted (and I order chai every chance I get!), and my friend loved her 3 drinks (she said Tres Raices was her favorite). For our food, we split an order of the Not Queso Dip and the Avocado Tostadas. We were both very impressed by how fresh the ingredients were, and the blend of flavors in each dish that created a unique and yummy taste. The Kitchen has an open, airy layout that inspires deep breathing, while the arrangement and spacing of tables still provides for intimacy of conversation and minimal ambient noise. Sofhia checked back with us several times during our meal to ensure we had everything we needed and were thoroughly enjoying our food and drink (we were!).
