This was my first time trying Jersey Mike's, and I was pleasantly surprised! I got the Club Sub on gluten-free bread, and honestly, the bread was actually good--which says a lot. As a gluten-free girlie, I'm always craving sandwiches but rarely find ones that hit the spot. Now I finally have a go-to place! I originally wanted to order online, but since I didn't want ham and the app only lets you add meats (not remove them), we went inside to order. The customer service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed to be mostly high school kids, and one of them asked what we wanted, then seconds later started talking to a coworker and completely ignored us. We ended up having to give our order three times. At one point, a different employee asked if a sandwich already being made was mine. I asked if it was on gluten-free bread, and when he said no, I told him it wasn't mine and had to re-order again. There also seemed to be confusion about removing ham and just replacing it with extra turkey. My boyfriend had a similar experience ordering his sandwich. Despite the chaotic ordering experience, the sandwich was delicious, and I'll definitely be back. Next time, I'll probably just order ahead and remove the ham myself to save the hassle. read more

The food's pretty decent, but it'll take 30m to get a cold sandwich. It's 2:05p on a Sunday; lots of online orders, I guess. I've been in line for 15 minutes. I'm still 10 minutes out from ordering. Tucked in one of our open-air shopping centers, this place is easy to get into and out of. Convenience is outstanding. Jersey Mikes is my favorite sub shop in the area, and we have all of the national sub chains close to us. This location is super clean and smells fresh. That is important to me. We like to preorder, walk in, pick our food up, and quickly walk out. The order is always correct and ready to go, as promised. They also have happy people working here. This location prioritizes in-person orders over all mobile orders. I ordered my sandwich at 12:24pm and received an email saying it was ready for pickup at 12:39pm. The time is now 1:16pm, I've been waiting inside the restaurant for 35 minutes now and still don't think they've started making my sandwich yet. This location is routinely under-staffed and swamped with online orders. Delays of 10 to 20 minutes beyond the expected pickup time are common. They need to either hire more workers or limit the number of online orders they will accept. read more

You know after awhile it seems there's not much difference in sandwich delivery... Cold cuts on long bread with mayo and lettuce and pickles and chips. The other day they had a deal so we ordered from here... We've been here before and at other locations. I ordered a steak sandwich and my wife got a chicken one. Gotta tell you it was darn good. Bread was fresh. Toppings were done right. Delivery was fast. So yeah a cut above. Next time I'm thinking deli cooks cuts.... My mind is gonna say... I have heard a lot of great things about Jersey Mikes. But, like a lot of places that seem to get good word of mouth, it's just overrated. I guess most people are fine with mediocre. Because this place is just that-mediocre. I won't name places I like better, but I figured why not try some place new today? Well, I wish I had gone to a place that I already knew never let me down. Because first time through the door, it let me down. The sandwich I got really didn't have any taste to it at all. Mediocre options for toppings, mediocre options at the soda fountain, mediocre options for chips. There are other places that never let me down. I will continue to go to those places, they are always great. I don't know why so many people go to this sandwich shop. It's ok but not that great. Absolutely could be better. read more

I was scrolling on yelp and noticed the rating wasn't very high for Jersey Mikes and I am so confused why. I am a regular at this location, a minimum once a week I come here. Everyone that works here is hard working and very friendly. I have never had a bad experience at this location. Even when it is packed at lunch they take great care of their customers no matter if I go in and order or order online, my sandwich is always made the right way and my sauces are on the side the way I ask. I know everyone has different experiences but I didn't appreciate the Jersey Mikes slander lol so I had to leave my review. 10/10 always recommended Jersey Mikes to everyone I know. read more

Stopped by the lees summit location Sunday. This location seemed clean and the staff was nice, but the order took a very long time and when it was served my husband's sub unfortunately wrong and missing the chipotle mayo, my Philly cheese sandwich was missing a lot of the meat and had a lot of bun. We generally love the sandwiches so I'm sure we'll try it again! But we hope it is a better experience read more

I was excited to try this place out,since I have never been to Jersey Mike's before, and growing up on the East Coast I had certain expectations. I really like that they slice the meat and chesse when you order, but not thrilled that all were cut on same slicer..not good for vegetarians. The next issue was that I asked if I could get only 2 meats on my sandwich and was told no they do not modify anything. I tried a cheesesteak but was not given the option for bread and they served on rosemary bread..not the best choice. They were busy and definitely not friendly. Overall I would rather spend almost 30 dollars at another resturant that is actually friendly and has a place to actually sit and eat out. read more

I called in an order, probably a few now, months ago and Jersey Mike's almost always comes through when I need them! They (Haley & Logan) made me the best dinner I'd had in awhile. I'd like to thank both of 'em. We (my disabled sister & I) are pretty much livin' in the dark ages, compared to most others, that's why I called to make sure JM's still had some of their awesome wheat bread available for our kinda late night sandwich. Haley assured me they had some and happily took my order over the phone. Came in was ignored, asked someone that was cleaning the difference between two very similar combos they stated one was chicken and one was steak stated the steak sounded awesome with a drink. DONT ORDER HERE. I have ordered here multiple times in the last 6 months. This store went from a respectable establishment, to an embarrassment. I honestly don't know how they have 4 stars. They stopped their donation day without notice. They never have bacon cooked (I order the supreme which has bacon). I've ordered online multiple times and received a sandwich without bacon, and never received a notice of them being out of bacon. So much to where I won't order online because I know they wont get it right. I've tried calling corporate and no one will respond. This store is an embarrassment to jersey mikes. The Blue springs store has never had this problem, ever. The ratings need changed cause this store is terrible. I recommend you go to blue springs over the lees summit, that way you get good service and food. read more

The workers are way more friendly and the store is exponentially cleaner! I am never disappointed with the food I get here. I really REALLY wanted to like this place too. :( They only have chips as a side, like Jimmy Johns. But if I had to go somewhere for a sandwich I'd highly recommend Jimmy John or McAllisters. This place is a joke, rude service as well. They didn't even explain what a rewards card was just kept asking for it, but we don't have one! What rewards card do you mean? Jersey mikes can be beautifully summed up by this: quality quality and more quality. Food: 5/5 From the bread to the lettuce, I've never gotten a sandwhich here that didn't blow me away with how tasty it was. I've thought this time and time again, the order in which the ingredient are stacked in the sandwhich carry just as much importance as the intrinsic quality. The juice (oil and vinegar) is perfectly balanced in its mixture and meshes just so much better than what you'd get at subway or other submarine sandwhich shops. Am crossing my fingers that this tradition in sandwhich making never changes at JMs because they do it perfectly. I wouldn't even put jimmy joins or subway on the same playing field as Jersey Mikes. Service: 4/5 I've had more good encounters than bad ones but I will say the bad encounters aren't that terrible. It's just that typical "I'm doing this to pay the bills" mentality that always rubs me the wrong way. Oppositely, the good encounters are great, they do a great job always acknowledging their customers. I contacted corporate, and they emailed me a copy of my ticket. I called the manager of the Lee's Summit store, Mike, and he promptly refunded my card. You don't find this level of service any more. My husband and I agree, the worst sub sandwich place we have eaten at at. It is expensive with cheap ingredients. Your choice of lettuce, white bread, mayonaise oil and vinegar. It is hard to ask questions as the place is very noisy and hard to hear as you are being shoved through like a herd of cows. The meat has no flavor. I ended up loading mine with salt and pepper. We had to ask them to wipe down a table for us to eat at. I normally don't give bad reviews but felt this one was needed. read more

Been a Jersey Mikes fan for over 20 years. I'm super happy to see them come to Kansas City market. Hands down the best bread of any of the sub shops around. Great variety of hot and cold subs as well as wraps. Deli style meats and cheeses sliced to order. Hot subs cooked to order. Choose your toppings (I like Mike's way and add mayo).
