I had a very odd and lazy experience here. Ordering through the app went fine, of course. But our first interaction was greeted by a cashier who couldn't even give eye contact when talking.The mannerism was very odd. But it was also followed up with 5/6 wontons. Why is it empty here at 1 pm? My food came our super fast, and the cashier was amazing. You know the food at Noodles and Co, you can get pretty much whatever your heart desires. I will also remind you they uave the fancy soda machines that has 1000s of options. CONSISTENCY! These guys knock it out outta the friggin park time and again, at an effortless pace. It's always business as usual here, and each time - no matter the amount of people waiting - they hit it square on the knot! The key here is noodle bite, and moisture percentage; when judging noodle makin', that's all that matters, period. An important note: I've had my share of problems with noodles - so much so, I was once on a first-name basis with the district manager. I tried over and again to find a great noodles locally in Kansas City where I live. Unable to find such a find through great strife and circumstance, I found eventually my unicorn in Lee's Summit: the golden hills of Missouri! Through the scientific method, I found over 6 visits through many weeks and months and at different times, I always get a great bowl here. Trust me, I drive 50 miles for this! We haven't been to Noodles and Co for a LONG time but boy am I glad we came back! I love that they use real dishes but most importantly this Thai chicken soup is AMAZING and tastes exactly like Campbell's Go coconut curry chicken. I've been missing it for years and I've finally found a replacement! We all loved the teriyaki meatballs as a side but the Udon noodles really stood out, SO GOOD! Love that there are so many healthy options as well for those that are avoiding carbs. read more

Just went here tonight and had the best customer service. They were extra fast making my Mac and cheese, it really was extra cheesy like the menu says and nice and warm too. The music was nice, and the bathrooms were sparkly clean! I will be back for more with my family soon! read more

I have loved Noodles forever it seems. I'm a picky eater and I can always count on Noodles to have something I like. My favorite is the basic buttered noodles *with the seasoning* and the Parmesan crusted chicken. I also like the Mac n cheese and a few other dishes. The chicken is good it just always seems a little off to me for some reason. Maybe because it's so flat ? I'm not sure. Anyway, its really good! I'm not sure when they started the whole "bus your own table" thing but I really like the concept. It gets people to take responsibility for their dirty dishes. I like the idea. Terrible experience! Was served cold food! Spoke to management, he was a shift lead, and he was very unapologetic and defensive when we spoke about the lack of customer service from the cashier. This has happened multiple times with her being on register. Customer service has gone down tremendously at this location. The cashier is very clueless, has no energy, and does not greet customers or even acknowledged my presence or the people after me. There are lots of room for improvement. On a lighter note, the cooks were very pleasant as one of them acknowledged me while I waited for food I thought was being remade. Ordered curbside pickup online, super fast and convenient which is always a plus. I ordered the Penne Rosa with Parmesan Chicken. Overall it was pretty good, this one had way too much pasta and not enough sauce. But it still tasted delicious. We also ordered the Japanese Pan Noodles with Steak. Okay, Noodles and Company. You have spent a long time on my lunch rotation, partly because you have decent healthy options and a good mobile app that allows me to order online and pick up quickly. But today, you disappoint. This is my Thai curry soup side. The spoon is included for scale. I realize you don't want to overfill a to-go bowl, but a 2" high bowl that is filled to an inch (looks higher in the photo, but yes, it is filled to the 1" mark) is not a full serving. I was shopping at the new Macy's in Lee's Summit, and about missed this little restaurant. It's situated adjacent to Summit Fair, in a little strip of shops. (Not easy to get to exiting Summit Fair, by DSW shoes, but that's okay). I wanted vegetarian food. Walking in, and the first thing one notices is how bright it is. Yellow! And modern. And crowded. Noodles was pretty fulll, and I was lucky to get a table. The menu consists of Ameircan (spaghetti,mac and cheese, buttered noodles, etc...), Mediteriain, and Asian. I selected Japanese Pan Noodles. Without meat. There are two sizes, one is 5.75, and the smaller is 4.25. I ordered the smaller size. Organic drinks and cookies are also available. My serving (the smaller size of Japan Pan Noodles) was ample. The vegetables were fresh, and the noodles were tasty. On top of the vegetables were fresh bean sprouts. It was warmed. (I don't care for cold vegetables.) It was very good. I will stop here again when I am in the area. I will recommend the Wisconsin mac and cheese and the pot stickers even though I don't eat them anymore; they were my tried and true favorites! Yesterday I ordered the Thai Green Curry without shrimp and added tofu. I guess I should have looked at the ingredients because it wasn't what I expected! Hands down the absolute worst meal I've had in a long time! I've gone to this location once before and it although it wasn't the best, the noodles was dry but food was alright. Ordered the Alfredo MontAmore, swapped out the regular noodle for zucchini noodle. No big deal right, still should be prepared the same way. Well I arrived home and received a big ass bowl of grease. Literally GREASE! From the bottom of the bowl to the top of the bowl...GREASE! I figured maybe it's flavorful seasoning, HA, was I wrong. I had a piece of chicken and a leg of spinach (placed on top of the noodles) that's it, I couldn't even stomach the rest of that &(!+ My hubs is a human garbage disposal, which means, he normally doesn't turn down food (good food) his taste palate is not exquisite and he's pretty much ok with eating any where. Well not this, he took one look at it and said "WTH is it" Yeah pretty bad. What I really don't understand why would any cook be ok with serving such crap and who the hell uses that much grease to cook NOODLES! It's been two days now, and I'm just has upset now as I was the day I ordered that crap! Folks, please please please, always, always, always, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD! Hubby and I went here for dinner tonight and had an amazing experience. It was wonderful to eat El Fresco and our food was delightful. What made the experience so great was the General Manager, Sarah. She came around personally to check on the customers and we had a great conversation with her and she took our comments seriously and even followed up with us after our meal before we ready to leave to let us know we had been heard. Service was phenomenal. Our food was fresh and tasty. We will definitely go back. Found out tonight that 25% of the bill went to help Joplin relief. That made our dinner extra special. read more

The noodles here are good. Not great, in my opinion. My husband really likes this place though, so we will probably eat here occasionally. He gets the pesto cavatappi with grilled chicken. I got the Japanese Pan noodles with steak. The Japanese udon noodles they use aren't chewy like I prefer them to be. This is one of the places that I can only go to with certain people because it seems that people either love it or hate it here. Here's why I like it: ~ 3 genres of noodle dishes which you can customize, including Asian, Italian, or American ~ Once you have chosen your type of pasta (which can include whole wheat), you can choose your meat/tofu of choice (yes, I said tofu! I'm sold!) ~ Dishes range from $4.50-7, score! ~ Meat and veggie soups cost less than $4 :) ~ Lots of unique sodas in the bottle and desserts, too. I have ordered noodles from each genre of the menu, in addition to ordering soup and side dishes. I have always gone home feeling totally satisfied and like I spent my money well. This is definitely my go-to if I want a quick and delicious pasta dish! The cheesy garlic bread with the marinara is a great appetizer to start off the meal and my favorite pasta dish is the pesto cavatappi. I do have to ask for extra pesto sauce because it seems as if the sauce they give doesn't cover all the noodles sufficiently enough for my taste but everything tastes great once the extra sauce has been added in. Their Japanese pan noodles and pad thai are also good. Service and staff are great and the atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful. Lunch on 4-21-2011. Small Pad Thai no meat plus took some Sir. Sauce to go. Back at my desk in the office, food still steaming and looking good. But the taste was rather bland for Thai. I added the sauce. Still needed something, added a small tin of chicken from my desk drawer. Still needed something. Couldn't find the peanuts in it. Remembering that this is one of the reasons I moved out of the chain store choked suburbs and closer to the city. Recommend you try Lulu's downtown or one of the owner operated Thai eateries if you want something good in noodles. So the first part of this review is just a copy from my Olathe review, because they're really the same place in all categories of friendliness and quality: In my mind, Noodles & Co is a great place to go when you want some variety and something reliably tasty. It's never going to be anything terribly original or exciting, but it's solid food at fair prices. How can you not like that? This was my first time at the Lee's Summit N&C, and the service was really friendly and pretty speedy as well. It was a chilly evening and my girlfriend and I wanted some comfort food. We both got trios (small noodle dish of your choice + meat of your choice + soup or salad) - mine was mushroom stroganoff with braised beef and a caesar salad, and she got the mac & cheese with parmesean crusted chicken and caesar salad. The salads were pretty small but tasted good and I liked the caesar dressing that it came with (on the side). My stroganoff was awesome - perfect for a chilly night, and the braised beef was the perfect meat choice. Her mac & cheese was good (I have had it before so I can say it's usually good), and the parm chicken is definitely a step up to the regular chicken. They recommend meatballs with mac & cheese but I have had the meatballs a couple times at N&C and they are always dry and flavorless...skip them. I felt like the trio wasn't the best deal. I would have rather had a large noodle bowl + meat for slightly less money. However, it's overall very tasty, affordable and pretty quick. read more

Stopped in here for an early lunch today! I visit this location often and have never had a bad experience. I typically get the Japanese Pan Noodle dish and it has never let me down. Always fresh veggies, and fair amount of sauce. Today I decided to switch it up by getting the Bangkok Curry. It was a large portion, but had a bland taste. I wouldn't reccommend that particular dish but that's just me. Atmosphere is always clean, and cheery. Staff is always energetic and helpful. Recently, they have started coming to the menu board when you first walk in to help with any questions a guest might have. We've only recently decided to try this place, and were presently surprised by the quality and taste of the food. And, being a chain you can expect some pretty consisted quality. This is one of the few places I can eat because of gluten/celiac issues...so...learn how to properly run a business, and if your hours are what they are, then your doors should be OPEN until that time (so i.e., if you are open until 9pm, then your doors should remain unlocked until 9pm...pretty simple)...I gave this place a lot of business before and would have now until this bullshit. We did an online order with curbside pickup. They completely messed up our son's order when on the receipt it had all the correct details (no mushrooms, etc.) Also, I added breaded chicken on mine and it was so chewy that I did not feel ok giving it to our dog. My pasta was under cooked and I could not eat my plate. So sad because this was our first time to eat out after the pandemic and we picked our favorite place. Disappointed to say the least. read more
