A while ago, undesirable reviews had been made for this restaurant. I have had their food three times now and can speak to the cleanliness when I was as there. The space seemed clean. There was nothing on the floor or trash anywhere. They do have it blocked off for carry out or delivery only. But I want to talk about the food. Twice I've ordered the General Tso's chicken, eggrolls, egg, drop soup, and the Chinese donuts. What you see pictured here is the Happy Family meal with fried rice, small egg, drop soup, and Chinese donuts. The egg drop soup is good but may be a little watery for some. The egg rolls are crunchy. The General Tso's chicken is inviting to your palate. And you just can't go wrong with fried rice. The Chinese donuts are always soft with just the right amount of sugar and are highly addictive. I enjoyed the Happy Family and the scallops and the shrimp were a nice addition. I happen to find their food delicious and quite comparable to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Give them a try and decide for yourself. read more

Place still looks like all the pictures, which I am concerned about but I hope the city is doing inspections and can only guess they have. So we tried it for the first time. Mu shu was great they use rice wrappers so tired of places using corn or flower thats for mexican food people great taste sesame beef large amount! both good flavors they still dont let people in, just carry out at the front door. Have ordered from here several times over the years as it's close to my house. Tonight the meat in the Orange Chicken was chewy and the pork in the Szechuan pork had such huge chunks of pork they had to be cut with a knife and were also chewy. This is not the norm so I called to let them know. The person who answered the phone said it was their best dishes and no one else has ever complained and she was totally offended and got an attitude with me. I said I was and that I was disappointed in the food and would probably not ever order from them. As she was doing nothing to try and make it right. My family has been going to this place for years. Right up until today it's always been wonderful. But after today's experience I will never be going back. All of the sudden they reduced all the portions on everything by over half. By the time I got it home it wasn't even enough to feed my two kids. The same entree that used to feed them both no problem, with plenty left over. I know Chinese places are notoriously sketchy and inconsistent with what you get. But this place has been rock solid for a decade now. But all of the sudden they've started being inconsistent with their packaging and their portions and there's no telling what you're gonna get for b what you pay, from one trip to the next. I thought they forgot the rice. But they actually put it inside the container with the entree taking up half the room and giving very little chicken included. But charging for a large at full price. Oh no no no no. I was stopped here for the night and not much was open. I happened to drive by and saw lots of cars on a quiet night parked there, so I was hopeful. The interior is pretty divey, which I can forgive, but it was also dirty, which I cannot forgive. I ordered sour chicken with sauce on the side. Absolutely flavorless. Giant serving, but it was like eating air. I had a few bites and decided not to waste any more stomach space on this. Sorry. I was impressed even my very first delivery order but I've ordered over a dozen times now and China Kitchen is my absolute favorite for delivery. I had to update from 4 to 5 stars. I've tried every chicken dish. Hunan chicken, Kung pow chicken, Chicken with garlic or curry are my favorites! Crab Rangoon is delicious! Delivery guy is super sweet. We have been going here for years. The flavors are very good. The food is well cooked. I would love to give them 5 stars but I feel since Covid they are struggling. We have ordered from them twice in the last month. My first order was for Szechuan chicken and the veggies were mostly Celery a few carrots and a few water chestnuts. Then the top of my container was packed with peanuts. Tonight I ordered Cashew Chicken. Well again it is mostly celery about half that amount in carrots a few water chestnuts and about 6 cashews. There are always people waiting when I go to pick up my food so they seem busy. I just hope they get back to using better veggies again soon. read more

If your in the mood for Chinese food, and have never ordered from the China Kitchen, do yourself a favor and give them a try. They have all of the traditional offerings of most Chinese Restaurants. For appetizers there is crab rangoon, egg rolls, fried rice, etc. All cooked to absolute perfection. And as far as actual meals go they have great sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, General's chicken etc. They also deliver and do so promptly. Delivery was fast. Hot and sour soup did not disappoint on this cold evening! My sons enjoyed the generous portions of sesame chicken and chicken lo mein. Egg rolls were generously sized and tasty. The fried rice was bland and the shrimp in it was breaded shrimp that the bread was taking off and it was to the point I could not even eat everything I had throw it away because it was so nasty. Really great Chinese Restaurant that is close to my house! Best thing about them is that they deliver! Me being a mother of 2 little ones that is SUPER convenient for me.
