I absolutely love this little place. Normally, I order online and then my food is waiting for me and it is hot and fresh. Taste temperature texture, all good. It is an old-fashioned family run business little kids are doing a schoolwork or playing with their toys in the waiting area. People are super friendly and very helpful. Excellent carry out Chinese food. They have a good Kung Pao Chicken. Lucky Wok also makes a good Springfield Chicken plate, and they keep the chicken separate from the rest of the entrée so that the breaded chicken doesn't get soggy. Even if they're busy, I still get my food within about 15 minutes. read more

The food is great. Prices are great. Lunch specials are only $7.95 and runs from 11am to 3pm. Food is done fast. Some seating indoors but mostly seems to be known for takeout. Staff are hard working and nice and the place is always busy with people picking up take out orders. I really enjoyed vegetables and lightly fried tofu with garlic sauce and broccoli. They made it with a perfect sauce that was flavorful with real garlic and didn't include starch and gelatin like some places add. Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. I've tried the restaurant on the other side of the road and this place blows it out of the water. They have amazing egg drop soup. I have tried the lo mein, orange chick, and a few other items and they have all been very good and fresh. Great portions for left overs or splitting. read more

I absolutely love a great take-out Chinese place! For years, my favorite has been China One in Blue Springs, but I think this place passed them up on my list of faves. Everything was piping hot and so tasty, especially the MEI FUN with bbq pork. The general's chicken was spot on and the friend rice was so fresh and delicious. After I had ordered online and paid for the $32.55 order when I went to pick it up I got "I sorry your order not show up". Even after I showed the order they argued that they didn't have the order. I had to call my bank and dispute the charges. I won't eat here again. read more

I am SO MAD AT MYSELF for not taking pics of the food from Lucky Wok!!! This was GOOD!!!!! We have this place a try because our usual spot in Lee's Summit is closed on Monday. Uh oh...we have a contender!!!!! We called ahead, and the food was ready to go right on time. Very comparably priced to the spot we usually go. We took ours home, but looking around the modest-sized restaurant, it appeared clean and quiet. Just the kind of place to go if you want to just chillax and enjoy your meal. We both ordered the chicken with broccoli, and it was outstanding!!! I don't want to take business away from our other Chinese joint, so I guess we will just have to eat Chinese twice as often now! read more

The search is over. I've lived in Lee's Summit for about 10 years now and I'm always looking for a good restaurant/Chinese food and I have found my spot. I've driven all around the community only to find subpar Chinese food, it would work in a pinch but nothing to review/write home about. My child was wanting some Chinese noodles so I fired up yelp and the search was on, again. This one popped up number 1 on my list. I live across town (20 minutes drive) but gave it a shot and I'm so glad I did. The food is outstanding. Fresh. Hot. Delicious. Not much of a dining room but there are a few seats. This is a fantastic takeout joint. Friendly and fast. I will now renew my love for Chinese food as I have finally found my spot in Lee's Summit. I was looking forward to trying this place. Ordering was easy online. The crab Rangoon was also good. Unfortunately, the generals chicken and Springfield cashew chicken was pretty subpar. We will continue to order from Master Wok, even though it's more expensive. read more

Wife and I tried the Princess Chicken, Cashew Chicken, and fried rice. Very delish. Not to mention a side of crab Rangoon. We are definitely fans. We got it to go, but the insides of the restaurant appeared very clean and everyone appeared to be Covid conscious. read more

I really love this little place. Food is always super tasty. If you call in an order (which I recommend carry out as it does only have a handful of tables inside), it is always correct and piping hot. I'm picky on cashew chicken (which seems to be my go to) and theirs is great! When I need a quick dinner solution for the family, it's super easy to call in and order online, too. read more

Average at best, Chinese Food! We worked the Sesame Chicken and the chicken was dry and hard, we could hardly chew it. Honey Chicken was super(and I mean SUPER) battered. Yuck! .... but at least you could EAT the chicken. Egg Drop soup was decent. The only PRO is their portions are large. Meals, soup, half order of donuts was a big portion. read more

sesame beef was hard as a rock, and that Kung, Paul, shrimp general Charles shrimp skews me was all breading and the baby shrimp hardly any shrimp. I couldn't even feed all that to the dogs wouldn't. read more

Love this place. It is a local favorite within the Raintree Lake community. It is family owned and the food is ALWAYS hot, fresh and made to order. If you are seeking gourmet Chinese food then this is not the place for you. It is the go to place for a quick bite and when you don't want to spend a lot of money. They do however provide reasonable sized portions of flavorful Chinese cuisine at a price that is light on your wallet. read more

Yep, I agree with the other reviewers. This is a great new little take out joint in south Lees Summit. One could eat here but there are only 3 tables so it would be a good idea to plan on taking it out. I can vouch for the soup ( I have the egg drop soup mixed with hot and sour), egg rolls and the mu shu pork. All were delicious and reasonably priced. The lady at the counter was friendly and easy to understand. It would be a mistake to assume they wouldn't be busy just because they are newly opened. Apparently word of mouth and possibly traffic from Walmart has given this little place the exposure they needed. There were several orders called in and two other people waiting for their orders. There were four adults working at top speed so keep up with the orders so the wait wasn't too long- maybe 10-15 minutes. If their prices stay at the same they will get a lot of business from me because their food is really good. read more

Lunch special price and taste - top notch for what we pay. Cook has the face mask down around his chin exactly like my server and other cooks at other restaurants I've seen this past week so currently I don't know what the point is, but I'm still coming here 1x - 2x per week and I just moved here. Oh my gosh, after two years of searching I've found great Chinese food in Lee's Summit. I shouldn't say that because now you'll all go there and it'll be too busy. Just keep going where you've been going. I'll be going where the food is fresh and delicious. We had the crab Rangoon appetizer. Very generous and hot and so crispy good. Nice dipping sauce too. My son got the Sesame chicken with egg drop soup. He loved the soup. The fried rice is just fried rice but nice amount of egg in it and fresh made. The egg rolls were crispy and nicely fried. I got the General Tsp Chicken. Great sauce, not too spicy. Chicken was fried well and not old or dry or crunchy hard. (Can you tell I've had some bad egg rolls and nasty chicken at other places??) Typical menu... So many choices for my future visits. Sadly no drive thru. The eating area is very small... Only a few tables. Clearly this is mainly a take out place. But who can wait till they get home to eat?? Particularly when the food is this good. read more

Normally pretty good food BUT they are definitely getting cheap. Ordered $75 of food which consisted of 4 entrees 1 with Steamed rice and 3 with fried rice. They gave my son a single container of steamed rice and the same amount of fried rice and told him they "combined it" ok so if I have more than one order I will go elsewhere. How insulting the container was no bigger than the steamed rice they simply ripped me off and lied to my son's face. NOPE. I am combining my carryout options and China 88 will be my new Chinese take out. read more
