Bland noodles, with chunky cabbage.

We came here to try this new place out the other day, and were a bit disappointed just because it wasn't the best Asian noodle bowl I've had. The Korean beef appetizer we had was good, but other than that I'd go to QZ. The service was good, and the place was quiet if that says anything.

My wife and I went to the Magic Noodle for dinner tonight in February 2025. They just opened very recently and are still getting things together. But it's a pretty decent approximation of the original Overland Park location. The interior is gorgeous. They did a great job! There's a temporary banner above the door that let you know you're in the right place. We started off with two appetizers, including the crab Rangoon and the calamari. The crab Rangoon was amazing! It came out quickly and was piping hot. We enjoyed it very much. The calamari was a sight to see as the pieces were very big. Huge! I had never seen calamari quite like this. However, it was very tough and chewy. We mentioned this to the server and he took it away. The manager came over and apologized. He would remove it from the bill. We felt that was the right thing to do. My wife and I shared the house special noodle dish with beef, chicken, and shrimp. It was excellent! It wasn't all hot all the way through. Some of it was piping hot and some of it was lukewarm. Very strange. We are chalking that up to a new place that is still finding their way. With four restaurants right in a row in this brand new strip mall, they are going to have to get their stuff together quickly, but we have seen the owner work their magic at the original location and we have faith that the Lee's Summit version will be just as good soon. I will update my review when needed. We will be returning.

Japanese noodle house experience. They make fresh noodles in house. Nice a Japanese deco inside. Clean atmosphere. Waiter took our order at the table. Robot will bring out your appetizers. I had one of their soup bowl with traditional noodles. The broth was very flavorful. Fresh noodles. It was quite tasty. I definitely would be back for other dishes.

Everything was delicious! Our first time having Magic Noodle so we tried a bit of everything. My husband loved the BBQ tentacles, and soup dumplings. My favorite was the pot belly fried rice and Peking duck. Some of the best crab Rangoon and the dumpling sauce is I really didn't like the size of the calamari rings too thick for me. And I LOVE tea eggs so I was excited to order them but I wish they actually came in some of the juice. Overall we'll definitely be ordering again.

My daughter picked this place for the robot and we had no idea what it was other than that and it served noodles. I was pleasantly surprised. Kids...they liked exactly that...the robot and noodles. I ordered the Crab Rangoon and the Stir Fry and thought it was delicious. I am incredibly picky on Crab Rangoon and this ranks #2 that I've ever had (lots of competition). The stir fry was good that day, but it was even better the next day. The kids weren't excited about the options they had and didn't like the broccoli or the meat sticks (beef with what tasted like taco seasoning on a skewer). But, the noodles and robot made them happy. Service was great and even let them pet the robot on the ear so it would talk to them. Fun experience!

didn't get the full experience of dine in, so we will give that a try next time. The option we picked was stir fry with chicken and I was not overly impressed. The entree lacked in flavor and was a lot like most Chinese food around . The noodles seem hard and dense. We are going to give the fried rice a try next time around.

Let's get the good part to the top. Yes we liked it and yes we will be back. We actually started out going to a different restaurant nearby, however it was closed on Sunday. We walked it and could see it was full and busy. We put our name in and was told it would be 20 minutes. We agreed and waited about 10 minutes when we were called to the desk. We were seated and just had water, an appetizer, and 2 entrees. The bill worked out to be under $50. It was a cute location, the people working were very nice even though they never stopped moving. It was packed. A robot brought our appetizer to the table. Side quest....you can choose the size of the noodle if you order a noodle dish. I choose the slim, which is about the size of a ramen noodle. Food was good all around.

Restaurant is just opening with both tables and booths seating is very close together. Beautiful plates/bowls and silverware with restaurant name engraved on them. Appetizers can be enjoyed while you watch noodle makers make your choice of several different sizes of noodles for your entree. You can also elect to have a rice dish. Coke products, tea and water are beverage choices. Cat Robot delivers food to tables which is so cute. Portions are large and so fantastic on flavors.

Chinese food is something that I LOVE and when I found out they hand made their noodles they had me sold! This magic noodles location is their newest one in Lees Summit and they serve a few more specialty items at this location versus their South Overland Park location. I love the idea of hand pulled noodles but I didn't really see the difference in taste but I loved the variation of noodles I could Choose from. I ordered both their magic chicken soup and their magic beef pepper soup which is only available at this location and wow! What a difference. The chicken had a very vegetable-ly flavor to it but the beef was out of this world. Had endless flavor and a nice bite. Not for someone who doesn't like spicy food. Their combination rice was average but then when I added the magic sauce to it, the flavor was elevated! Their skewers are always a little disappointing because they come over cooked and small portions. The beef I didn't like that they sprinkled the seasoning at the end of cooking so it was just there. I also wouldn't recommend ordering the calamari it was very chewy. Their dumplings were great both the soup dumplings and the gyoza dumplings. Overall I will be back. I like their set up and noodle situation. I think this place is good for noodles and noodles only. The other sides are ok. But nothing to rant and rave over.

We enjoy everything about Magic Noodle. The food, ambiance, prices and staff. We love the broth based items most.

Came here for a quick dinner. The menu have variety for everyone. I ordered the shrimp pho and it…read morewas amazing! The bubble tea options is also great. The staff were all friendly. It's a nice and intimate.

Okay...so yeah...this is choice number 2 for my Pho, but the stars were a 4, so I decided to check…read morethese guys out. Got a boba drink...cuz why not? Although milk tea is not on the menu per se, it is available. So milk tea with boba. Cool beans! The server brings out this big cup of milk tea with the perfect ratio of tea to boba. Boba was a little soft for me, but it was still good. Spring roll time! I decided to get shrimp as the meat choice for the vermicelli rolls, and boy, they don't skimp on the shrimp! Hearty shrimps in the vermicelli spring rolls. A word of caution, pour the peanut sauce onto the spring roll. Do not try to dip because the shrimps are big and heavy and have a tendency to want to fall out. The rice paper is freshly made, the veggies are fresh, no old edges to the lettuce, noodles taste good. Hubby says the shrimps are high quality too. Peanut sauce has fresh crushed peanuts on top. Yum!! Also their menu item named spring roll is a tofu version of their vermicelli rolls. Combo Pho time! Just as an FYI, where I am from, combination pho means a combination of different beef meats to include tendon, tripe, beef balls, and steak. This combo pho has chicken, shrimp, beef balls, and steak. I am not complaining though. For me the essence of pho is in its broth, so gimme some good broth and all is forgiven! A lot of pho shops mess up so they have either too much MSG that I am dying of thirst by the end of my meal, or too watery, or too rich of a broth where they boiled off too much of the water and you end up thirsty. These guys got it right! Good amount of saltiness, good beef flavor, and I'm happy to say that one would not need to add anything to the soup because the broth is tasty by itself. Service was good. I love that they have tap to pay. The open until 9 pm is awesome, especially since I am from a different time zone and I haven't acclimated yet. Room for improvement? I would say maybe an option to have fresh pho noodle. They would win a 5th star from me...until then, 4 stars!
