Vegetable Delight with chicken - The image shows a square white plate containing a vegetable stir-fry with sliced chicken, broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, and onions, accompanied by a mound of steamed white rice. The stir-fry appears to be coated in a light sauce, and the plate is placed on a light-colored tablecloth. The presentation suggests a balanced Asian-inspired meal with fresh vegetables and tender chicken.

Would recommend. Overall good experience We had a large group and the waitress and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is a little small but cozy and clean. The food was good (not extraordinarybut very tasty).. we ordered appetizers in the spring rolls were fantastic. Now - Even the mild spice option was a little spicy. The rice was just plain white jasmine rice no flavor. And the food was served very quickly and was hot and fresh.

Pad Thai

The Pad Thai was pretty good. There are a lot of restaurants don't make well these days. It tasted very good. Their noodle dishes were the best. The duck roll was okay, I think the wrap is little bit "too thick" compared to Chinese Beijing duck wrap.

Cloth napkins, hard wood tables?!, chairs with cushions!!! Bodhi tree artwork.

Great Pad Thai, tasty panang (a bit sweeter than expected but still delicious), beautiful decor, clean and well-appointed bathroom. Excellent and unobtrusive service.

This is another go-to restaurant of ours. Service is great and food is consistent and so good! Haven't had anything here I don't like. Ambiance is good. Always packed but always a table ready for you. Wait time was normal

Always good. Probably consistently the best Thai place in the Kansas City metro area. Highly recommend. I eat her at least once per month. Always busy.

Women Rule the World and this spot was so welcoming from the staff to the ambiance to the flavors. The beer, wine and sake list had all we needed to start off a great dinner. Apps were hot and quick and the entrees, especially the Panang Curry Veg, was full of great spice. Lovely spot to meet some friends and family!

It was me and my fiancés first time here and we loved it! Customer service was great! Waitress was very gentle and kind! What we ordered(yellow beef curry & pad Thai) was delicious! Would definitely come back! And we got to see our girl Na!!!

Outside of restaurant. - A commercial building housing Thai Kitchen, a restaurant, is visible with a parking lot in front containing several parked cars. The building has a sign with the restaurant's name and a small Papa John's sign nearby. The sky is clear with minimal clouds, and the photo appears to be taken in the late afternoon or early evening.

Clean ambiance great service food was really good. I liked my first time can't wait to go back again.

mango sticky ricewith coconut sauce - The photo features a Thai mango sticky rice dessert served in a black plastic tray. The dish includes a portion of glutinous rice topped with black sesame seeds, fresh sliced mango, and a small container of coconut milk or coconut sauce. The presentation highlights traditional Thai dessert elements, with the rice and mango arranged separately in the tray.

Drove by so many times but finally stopped in and did not regret it. Definitely gave off authentic Thai restaurant vibes. Beautiful red walls and gold accents. The ladies are super friendly and their service is surprisingly super fast. Best tum yum in town! Tried many places and this is my favorite! You also got to try their thai coffee! Everything we ate was a 10/10. Tiger cry beef had good flavor and the dipping sauce is prefect! Crispy garlic shrimp wasn't so Crispy but it was full of flavor. They didn't hold back on the sauce and I am not complaining!

Duck Red Curry - A bowl of red curry containing beef, vegetables, and sauce is presented on a square white plate, accompanied by a serving of white rice. The dish is set on a table with utensils nearby, and the background shows a wooden floor.

Nana and Nancy are delightful! Fast and efficient service and the food was fresh and arrived quick. They also offer takeout with a drive through option, but I prefer dining in and Thai Iced Tea.

Excellent Thai dinner. My wife said it's the best Pad Thai she's had, and she orders it often. Fast, friendly service too.

But for those of you who fall in the Chili's camp or any similar baseline dining experience, I don't think you're going to love Ophelia's. We've been four times now and every time we go we say "Want to try one more time?" because we really wanted to love this restaurant. The interior is gorgeous, and there's even attention down to most every detail. Some of the food is out of this world. This place is definitely trying, but the experience is just not adding up. In the 4 times we've gone, something has gone so wrong with the dish that we had to send it back, or just not eat it. Two of those 4 times, we got amazing service. The other two? Empty glasses, set-and-jet kind of waiting. Every time we were told that management was changing things, or that this never happens but for whatever reason; it happened to us every time. Wrong orders, meat too tough to cut/chew (twice), and basic drinks that came out below expectations. It's a lot to ask to ignore at the prices they're asking of us. And I'm sure they're using the freshest ingredients, and all sorts of French cooking techniques I could never pronounce, but after 4 times of missing the mark in multiple ways we just can't see ourselves going back. We have our fingers crossed for Ophelia's and hope they are able to figure out how to raise their bar a bit. Till then, Chili's calls.

Always delicious. Always clean…read more Always very welcoming. Great selection. No MSG All my family likes this place.

TLDR: 2 stars bc the food was ok, but still won't go back…read more I have ordered takeout and off the menu. I used to do the buffet, but got sick the last 2 times I tried it, so no more. This is one of the only places I can get honey sesame chicken though, so I continued to go here to order that from the menu. I hadn't been for quite a while due to a medical issue, and it turns out, I should have stayed away. From the moment I parked, it was a hot mess express. There were not enough handicapped spots for the # of businesses in the strip mall for starters, but that isn't really the restaurant's fault. On the plus side, they have redone the seating since I was last here and it was decently comfortable, but that's where the positive comments will end. The smell that hit me when I walked inside was horrendous, not a great start. I asked for a menu and the young women appeared VERY put out that I wanted to order from the menu; she kept saying "buffet" over and over, and I kept saying, "no, I need the menu please." I wanted to see if there was a combo for the honey sesame chicken. She finally brought over the menu and there was in fact a combo for the HSC, but all of the prices had been marked out with a sharpie. I pointed to the combo I wanted and asked how much and she gave me an odd look and raised her shoulders like she didn't understand me. I figure I was getting it anyway so I went ahead and ordered a coke and the HSC with fried rice; they have also always switched out the crab rangoon for an extra scoop of rice so I asked for that. The young lady took my order and left. A few minutes later, a young man brought me my drink and said. "no fried rice." I asked if he meant I could not sub it and he said "no fried rice, only white in combo." Me: "So let me get this straight, if I order the combo, I can't get fried rice?" Him: "no fried rice, only white rice. No 2 scoop." Me: "So I can't get rice instead of crab rangoon either?" Him: "no no no. No change, no fried rice." At this point I was super annoyed and just said fine, whatever. Just bring me the HSC for as cheap as you can. I'm hungry. The waitress came back with a gigantic plate, overflowing with HSC, and a teeny tiny little bowl of steamed rice, Not even enough for me to get full while sitting there in the restaurant, let alone enough to take home with the 2+ portions of HSC that were left over when I ran out of rice. You can't tell me it is less expensive to give a ridiculously large portion of chicken and minimal rice! I ate until I ran out of rice, never got a refill on my coke (they all ignored our table after dropping off the food), and left (still hungry) with 3/4 of the chicken in a take-out box, knowing I wouldn't eat it unless I bought rice to make. All of this, for the bargain price of almost $30, just for ONE PERSON! Never again.

It bums be out too because at one point I felt the fried rice was one of my favorites, now it is just dry and bland. The teriyaki chicken was good, no complaints there, but I would like to be able to have a bite with just fried rice and not feel like it still needs something. Service was good. Maybe a little pushy on the water refills. It's like they saw us taking pictures and were giving us reviewer treatment. I'm not saying that is the case, but I felt it was forced and awkward regardless. Regarding the insides, there is a small and quiet sushi side, and the loud hibachi inside. It has the kitschy but endearing japanese asian aesthetic and is usually clean and well kept. Salad was sweet and good. Soup was served to us warm, not hot. Drinks were pretty tasty, I prefer their Geisha over the Mai Tai.

The salad was yummy, but I didn't care for the soup--it was lukewarm rather than hot. The fried rice and teriyaki chicken were a little dry, but the shrimp was really good. Our cook was more focused on just cooking rather than performing, which was a little disappointing since the hibachi show is part of the fun experience. The service was very attentive--my water was never empty, which I loved as someone who drinks a lot of water at restaurants. However, it was almost too attentive, as the server would refill it before it even got halfway down and would come over very abruptly. I still had a good time, but I'm not sure I'd rush back. The prices are pretty high for the quality of food, and I'm sure there are better hibachi options out there.
