This is still one of our go to places for lunch. I can say that the portion size is getting smaller which is disappointing.

We only ever order carry out so I can't speak to the ambiance, but the food is delicious and the portions are huge! One dish is enough for 3 meals. They also offer a large variety and a lot of different dishes compared to other Chinese restaurants. Try the walnut shrimp- it's sweet, but also creamy and delicious! I just happened to pop in here today for lunch carry out. The staff was so nice and answered all my menu questions. The food was really great. There was a ton of food in the lunch special. I got the General's chicken, egg drop soup and an egg roll. They were all delicious!! But the cherry on the top was the crab Rangoon! Wow! I'm in love! This is one gem of a find in North Kc. We stopped in on our drive to Omaha and the manager Sydney was amazing. He was extremely nice and helpful when making our lunch choices. He recommended a Snow White sushi roll that is probably the best I have ever tasted. I highly recommend stopping off at this place the next time you are traveling through NKC! read more

Usually you just get meat and rice but our selections, Szechuan Pork & Kung Pao Chicken takeout, was spicy and full of bonus veggies. This restaurant received mixed reviews on Yelp over the past year. The earlier reviews had better rating and one Yelper stated a change of ownership attributed to the lower recent ratings. Compared to neighboring Chinese restaurants, the online menu looked more inviting and this was the main reason to visit this business. Using Google maps, it was tricky to determine the location since their building gives the appearance of being connected to a gas station, which it wasn't. The outside appearance is deceiving but once you enter, the new modern decor is a nice feature. General Taos Chicken, Shrimp vegetables, and a California roll was ordered. The food came out quickly but taste wise, it was about average. The staff were friendly and efficient but the chicken was on the dry side, the shrimp amount was limited, and the California roll had very large pieces of avocado, a bit more than I've had at sushi restaurants. Overall, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Perhaps, there is another dish or entree that could have impressed me tonight but I can only judge by what was delivered to the table. read more

The outside makes it not look the best and so I almost didn't try it just because of the appearance. I am glad I read the reviews on here because it was wonderful. When you walk in it looks a lot different than what you would expect. It is a little smaller than expected but very cute and clean. I used to be a waitress a couple years back and I know the all the 'cleaning.' I actually saw their waitress's wear rubber gloves and deep clean their sections, that right there was so comforting! Our waitress was so nice, helpful, and fast and our food came out piping hot 5 minutes..literally after we ordered. Their portions are HUGE, so you will have leftovers! This place has been here for years and until I read the reviews on yelp we never went to try it That was my mistake we walked in the food was excellent had the spring roll and also had the Egg roll they were Excellent not at all salty they were excellent and the mustard sauce will clear your sinuses, so it is True Mustard sauce. Had the Sweet Sour triple delight and the Beef lo mien which were hot, freshly made promptly serve with fried rice.. excellent.. They have a very extensive menu and we will be heading back to try to crab Rangoon if it was anything like the spring rolls and egg roll I won't be disappointed. Surprised with some of the reviews. Food was really lacking a lot of seasoning that is normal in dishes of this type. Picked up the food and brought it home to eat. The bottom entree in the sack had burned a hole thru the styrofoam it was in making a big mess on all the food containers in the rest of the sack ruIning the rest of the food. We were able to salvage enough to eat but it was a mess! An update.....Went back to let personnel know about the problem. Had no intention of asking for anything to compensate but to let them know that this will happen. The person we talked to acted like they didn't really care and made the comment that "it happens once in awhile" and didn't act concerned at all. I was told 15 minutes for my order, I picked up with in 15 and my food was waiting. I'm just a short drive home and therefore my assessment is that serving their take out orders in styrofoam seems to affect the overall quality and heat retention. One order was a vegetable mix and it was overly gooey (best way to describe it.) I'm not fond of walking in the door with my Chinese food and having to microwave it to see if I can loosen up some of the sauce. The sauce on the Chicken Lo Mein had already settled to the bottom and the top noodles were really dried out, again an effect of the styrofoam is my guess. The kids enjoyed their sweet and sour chicken, but the sauce was something quite unlike anything I'd ever tried. We did not like it. Finally, simple spring rolls were not too crispy and therefore underdone and the inside was too mushy. read more

Been here a couple of times and will keep coming back. The fried dumpling appetizer is our go-to! Any of the main entrees we've had have been great, too. I especially appreciate that their breaded chicken is good quality meat compared to other Chinese places I've tried. I will say that the few times I've gotten it as take-out, my fried dumplings got a little soggy and not as crispy... So I'll save those for when I'm eating in! read more
