Love this place! I always get the single bowl and pile it high with my favorite seafood and veggies then top off with the rice noodles, I also always make sure to have an egg with it as well! Two cups of sauce so it isn't dry. It's such a Fun experience to watch them cook your food in front of you and to see what the other people in your party have in their bowls! I love eating at Mongolian BBQ. I have their app with a Birthday reward that awards a BOGO bowl in your birthday month. I use this every year. Their food is fresh with multiple choices of protein, fresh veggies, variety of seasonings, and choice of brown or white rice. There are recipe cards on the wall that can be used or create your own bowl. They cook your meal right in front of you on a large circular flat top grill. They are able to address food allergies if need be and grill to your satisfaction and preferences. I often take home part of my meal because the bowls are large serving sizes. The staff are attentive and are quick to bring drinks or extra bowls when needed. The restaurant is clean and fun environment. The restaurant has a bar side that is tailored possibly for a more adult crowd and a main side that is family friendly. They even have a back area that's perfect for parties or large get togethers/meetings. I love the round circle tables that seem to give that eating at home with the family feel. read more

I can put in all the ingredients I love and they give you a different bowl when they sit you down. Good Mongolian BBQ experience. We ordered appetizers: the crab Rangoon came with some delicious dipping sauce, and the quesadillas were good. We were not 100% sure how the grill experience worked but the waitress pointed us in the right direction. The stations are labeled so you know where to go first. The bowls are given to you at the table. Once you get your noodles, meat, veggies, and sauces, you take it to the grill. At the grill they ask if you want rice or not. They take your bowl that you filled and cook it on the grill. It doesn't take long then your food is ready to go. They have sauces you can add if you please. We also go fried Oreos that came with some delicious chocolate dipping sauce. Additionally we order these apple pie rolls that came with caramel dipping sauce and they were delicious. Probably would have been better to just go to a Chinese buffet with hibachi, since this is pretty much that, minus the buffet, and you can choose to get just one bowl of ingredients or pay a few bucks more for unlimited number of bowls. You pick your own ingredients: your own protein, veggies, carbs, sauces, and spices, so you can't even complain when the bowl of mixed ingredients doesn't taste good. Standing around waiting in all that smoke and grease to watch they dump whatever you had in your bowl onto the grill all at once to cook it, and then go sit down to eat, just to find out that you can't even chew through some of the meats, while there are burnt pieces here and there. We were the group of 4 that walked out after ordering last Saturday night. We arrived between 7:45 and 8:00PM Saturday evening for a family birthday meal. We were seated after a 5-10 minute wait. After ordering our appetizers, and receiving our bowls we proceeded to the buffet to prepare our bowls. At the buffet we discovered the beef container was empty. After getting the attention of the attendant, she went to the back and returned to tell us there was no more beef. then she attempted to convince me i could scrape the old remnants from the sides of the pan. First, the remnants were not enough for a single serving, let alone 4. Secondly, gross! As I stated these scrapings were obviously old, and had been there a long time. A whole hour before closing and you out of a key ingredient. BDs has been a favorite location for a few family members for special occasion, such as this past weekends birthday. Even though the the quality has worsened since long before the pandemic, we still chose BDs over other area establishments. It's unlikely to be our choice in the future. read more

You get rice at the cook station too. This makes eating so much better as you have ample room to mix things up. My boyfriend and we're loyal BD's customers. We lately have been realizing the price increase, but still continued to come because we love the food. This was the last time we will ever come here as I found a bug in my bowl while eating. I'm horrified. The manager came by and honestly had no words other than what else he could get me. He comped by bowl but didn't my boyfriends (that he stopped eating after bug was found). Pretty sure this place should be shut down or needs a very thorough inspection. So disappointed! I really like Mongolian Grill. I don't come here much though. I came here to use my birthday coupon for a free unlimited bowl with a purchase of a bowl. I got rice noodles, tofu and vegetables. I don't recommend getting thick cut vegetables such as broccoli or potatoes; they don't cook all the way through. Others will say their food was burnt or raw here. Even when I was a meat eater I never had a problem with undercooked or burnt food. And yes, IF YOU PUT SAUCES, HERBS OR SPICES DIRECTLY INTO YOUR BOWL, THEY WILL BURN!!! This is common sense people! When a sauce is cooked on high heat, it will turn syrup like then burn. Herbs and spices are delicate will burn near instantly on high heat. So blame your own stupidity for not using the condiment cups provided! read more

This is one of our favorite places to eat. This location seems to always be pleasantly CLEAN. Sometimes, at this location, the Chefs fail to turn the food on the Grill often enough, resulting in too much food waste. That's the only reason I give this place 4 stars, instead of 5. With that being said, you can make your dining experience as positive as you can, by going into it with a little knowledge: 1. The meal comes with a side of either rice or tortillas. I'm always ready to tell my server which I want ... because if it is busy, they might forget to ask if I want either. And if I don't specify, I might not get any. Sometimes I don't always want either - and don't want to waste it, if everybody at the table just wants the Stir-Fry. 2. If I have no idea what combination I'd like, I take the time to study the "recipe cards" hanging on the wall by the raw food. No sense in paying for a meal that turns out icky. 3. When I fill my bowl with raw food, I follow the order of the food. I WANT the noodles on the bottom of the bowl, so they have the least amount of cooking time, since they are heaped on top of the other foods when dumped out onto the hot grill. 4. The hot spices go A LONG way. Even though I like fairly hot, one of those little, dinky spoonfuls of cayenne pepper is TOO MUCH HOT. 5. If I get a second bowl, I know I'd better be crazy-hungry, with a completely empty stomach, since I'm not allowed to take the uneaten portion home in a to-go container...bummer. (But if I get just one bowl, I can take the uneaten portion home). 6. In addition to tipping the server, I think it's important to TIP THE CHEFS. The job looks brutal. And I appreciate their cooking (so I don't have to). 7. I like my Stir Fry to be juicy ... so I have discovered that filling up two bowls of sauce works best for me. I hadn't been here in a few years, and I'm guessing that I was let down the last time. My husband recalls the service being bad last time, but I recall it being anything like this time. The overall food was fine, as usual, but the service was little to die for. We arrived just before dinner time, and the place was almost empty, so the reason we receive sub-par service is beyond me. The waitress who came to our table never asked if we needed any dishes removed, and so we were left eating with dirty dishes nearby. She only came to our table maybe twice to refill our drinks, and left us after that. At the grille, the two guys grilling were chatting the entire time, while my food was frying at little too much on one side. My rice noodles were a bit burnt, and I didn't feel like going and getting anther bowl, or maybe I should have? I had to interrupt the guy talking, who was supposed to be adding the sauce to my food on the grille, to let him know that my food was ready for the sauce. I've had better experience at the Mongolian grill near our home, and perhaps should have chosen that place this last time. read more

Was seated at the bar area where an off duty employee and party of 4 were seated at the bar. The bartender basically ignored the other patrons in the area and focused mainly on the employee and her friends. More friends showed up and it got worse. On top of this the meat on the bar was frozen and when the cook grilled it, he was unable to cook it thoroughly. We received our appetizer finally after questioning someone about it. The manager Chris did not seem very concerned with the bartender's actions or the state of our food. He also began to focus more on the off duty employee's party than other patrons. While in town for work reasons, some colleagues who live locally suggested that we dine at BD's last night. It was fine. The best part about it is that you can get whatever you want and however much you want. They have a meat/noodle bar, veggie bar, and sauce and spice bar for you to choose from. Everything was very fresh looking. Then you take your stuff to a counter and they put it on the grill and cook it for you. They get an extra star for having really good cleaning practices - I'm a vegetarian, and everything was really well marked as being vegetarian or not (also gluten or nut free) and they cleaned the grill and used special instruments that hadn't touched meat and even some rods to prevent other people's food (aka, meat) from touching my food. Score for that. They also have a salad and soup bar. Not very extensive but fresh.You can add this to your meal or not and the price will vary. You also can get all you can eat or not- but it's a lot of food even if you don't! They bring brown and white rice to the table and tortillas too. I had a cocktail that wasn't great. Forget the name but the waitress recommended it. The waitress wasn't around much, but she did keep the drinks coming. And didn't push us out the door when we were sitting and talking. I was here about a month ago for a friend's birthday. It was my first time. This chain has a similar set up to other chains I've been to such as FlatTop Grill. You go through a salad bar style line piling as much food as you can in a small bowl, then you select your sauce, and then take it over to the cooking station. The flavor of the food is okay, but not good. Some people are experts as piling on the food and they walk away with enough for a few meals. The food, to me, wasn't good enough to want leftovers. The concern with a place like this is sanitation​ especially when there is meat and seafood sitting out. They didn't do enough cleaning and monitoring of the stations for me. If you are a strict vegan, vegetarian or have allergies, I wouldn't​ eat here. read more

I'm not sure how new this is, or if it's a new direction for this chain, but this BD's is also a "Tap House." So you can come in and get your normal mongolian barbeque fillings and also enjoy a cold and super delicious craft beer. Sweet, right? The tap room features a whole wall with up to date listings written in chalk so you know what's available (there's a small menu on your table too.) This location gets busy. You might have to wait for a table and there will be a line for the ingredients. The cooks (chefs?) do a good job at keeping everything moving so that you're not too backed up. Lunch is moderately priced. Dinner could be a little less expensive, but it isn't too bad. There's a parking lot out front that will fill up when it's busy, but you should still be able to find a spot during peak times. read more

This an update from 2010. I ate there today for my birthday, taking advantage of the BD's birthday club free unlimited bowl, if you purchase a bowl. My son took me, and I enjoyed it. I'm staying off meat for a little while, and enjoy the fact that they have tofu. The choices of vegetables: onions, bell peppers, mini corn, sugar snap pea pods, mushrooms, tomatoes,, canned pineapple (it's definitely from a can), sliced water chestnuts, tofu is on the vegetable side. Also, bean sprouts, sauces, spices, and eggs they crack and fry. For the meat, it's several choices, with Thai noodles and rice noodles. There's also a salad bar. Truthfully, I'd rather here than Applebees, or other places based solely on meat. I got unlimited Mongolian barbecued vegetables, (2 bowls for me). We also got free rice, and was bought out one small bowl. Not enough for 2 people. I ordered watermelon lemonade, and got a free refill which rocked. For the beer drinkers they have a walk in beer closet with both kegs and several kinds of beer. Beer connoisseurs intrigue me, but I chose not to part take.
