Crab Rangoons
Linaa B.

First time coming here and it passed the vibe check for me! The server was super nice and the got me in super quick! The create your own bowl is what I love about. I can put in all the ingredients I love and they give you a different bowl when they sit you down. You go and get everything you want in the bowl and give it to a chef and you can see your food get cooked. They have multiple sauces you can pick from. The brownie sundae was so good and actually really big for $9.99! The crab Rangoons are good and overall would could back! The create your own bowls were around $18 dollars. Crab Rangoons were $8, I think. I would like to see more ingredients or options on the menu but in all a good place to go!

Good Mongolian BBQ experience. We ordered appetizers: the crab Rangoon came with some delicious dipping sauce, and the quesadillas were good. We were not 100% sure how the grill experience worked but the waitress pointed us in the right direction. The stations are labeled so you know where to go first. The bowls are given to you at the table. Once you get your noodles, meat, veggies, and sauces, you take it to the grill. At the grill they ask if you want rice or not. They take your bowl that you filled and cook it on the grill. It doesn't take long then your food is ready to go. They have sauces you can add if you please. We also go fried Oreos that came with some delicious chocolate dipping sauce. Additionally we order these apple pie rolls that came with caramel dipping sauce and they were delicious. Both came with vanilla ice cream!

Fried Oreos

The food was good, our server was nice and funny, the food was quickly made and the fried Oreos we're delicious

If you're familiar with Chinese buffets that have hibachi grills--where protein, veggies, and sauces you select from raw ingredients are cooked for you--then you'll understand BD's. This isn't, however, an all-you-can-eat place. You get one pass through the ingredient trays. There are ample trays of pork, chicken, beef, and seafood; a generous selection of produce; a variety of add-on sauces and condiments; and, numerous seasonings. You fill a bowl with what you want and a cook prepares it on the grill (really, a griddle). Ingredients were fresh. That's all for one price. An option is the salad bar. Drinks and desserts, of course, are additional charges.

Positives-Lots of variety when it comes to toppings you can get into your bowl! The quality of ingredients always seem to be fresh, and when ordering appetizers they did come out fairly quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. Negatives- little burnt pieces will end up in your food because of how weak the grill gets cleaned between orders, small bowls which don't allow for much food to be taken from the many options of toppings and service isn't as a good as it should be, making this place VERY self reliant.

Probably would have been better to just go to a Chinese buffet with hibachi, since this is pretty much that, minus the buffet, and you can choose to get just one bowl of ingredients or pay a few bucks more for unlimited number of bowls. You pick your own ingredients: your own protein, veggies, carbs, sauces, and spices, so you can't even complain when the bowl of mixed ingredients doesn't taste good. Standing around waiting in all that smoke and grease to watch they dump whatever you had in your bowl onto the grill all at once to cook it, and then go sit down to eat, just to find out that you can't even chew through some of the meats, while there are burnt pieces here and there. It sure smelled more appetizing from the parking lot.

This place is awesome I have a severe allergy to seafood and I went up to the manager and he said I will go to the back and get all fresh ingredients for you and cook it separately on the grill in the back kitchen they went above and beyond and I appreciate that and it was really good too the service was great even refills were on it....

Bug in my cooked bowl

My boyfriend and we're loyal BD's customers. We lately have been realizing the price increase, but still continued to come because we love the food. This was the last time we will ever come here as I found a bug in my bowl while eating. I'm horrified. The manager came by and honestly had no words other than what else he could get me. He comped by bowl but didn't my boyfriends (that he stopped eating after bug was found). Pretty sure this place should be shut down or needs a very thorough inspection. So disappointed! Would recommend almost anywhere else for dinner.

Our server Leah was great!! She was friendly with the kids and was on top Of everything! Our glasses were never empty! Thanks Leah! John was our cook he was phenomenal! When he saw us pull out our cameras he began doing lots of cool tricks! I haven't been here in years! I enjoyed our lunch and may daughter loved the trucks! Leah told us they don't do tricks anymore and that John is the only one who knows them from years ago! John I challenge you to teach the tricks to everyone else! It was cool to see! We are looking forward to returning! A great way to start birthday with an awesome lunch!

If you are strictly looking for a meal that hits the mark on taste, the person in the kitchen clearly knows what they are doing. Unfortunately, the dining experience was severely hampered by an extreme lack of staffing. On the day of my visit, there was only one waitress to handle a room of approximately 40 guests. While she was doing her best, it is simply impossible for one person to provide attentive service to a crowd that size. The staffing issues extended beyond the front of house. The Hors d'Oeuvre Bar was empty roughly 90% of the time. It's hard to enjoy a buffet-style feature when there is nothing to plate. I never actually received my soup. I was informed that there were no cooks available to prepare it at the time, which is a significant disappointment for any seated dinner.

Note: this is not a local restaurant issue but a corporate one. Local management has even criticized the same issue and noted the large number of complaints from other Rewards members. I've been a Reward Member since 2015 and a loyal customer even before that. I've moved in and out of the area but when living close we would visit 2-3 times a month. Even when living where there was no BD's, we made a point of going to BD's when back in town visiting friends and family. So often that I had acquired 1210 points. This doesn't even include the hundreds and hundreds of points that was generated on other accounts, which I treated others while using their accounts, like my daughter. To my SHOCK and AMAZEMENT, to repay my loyalty of over 10 years, BD's in October of 2025 decided to, with absolutely no notice, wipe every single point from my account. Local management says their hands are tied and can do nothing but give contact info and tell me about all the other customers that have also complained. The contact info is useless, after a dozen attempts, not a single reply. Some would consider this THEFT. 1200 points could get you 8 free bowls, at $18.99 per bowl that would be $151.92. Much more if you used points in different ways. It just amazes me that any business would treat their loyal customer (or any customer) in such a manner. I do wonder if this is just a bad employee in guest relations or if this is a corporate decision that the customers lost saves more money that honoring their statement from their website "Our guests are our number one priority here at BD's" If you prefer to spend your money with a business that values your patronage and you as a customer..... this is not it. Their menu consists of a lot of dishes, and some are quite unique .. you don't usually see items like bird's nest dishes at most Chinese restaurants around here except for maybe Bolings. Me and my husband visited on a Saturday night around 8 pm and really devoured our meal. The menu can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but you honestly can't go wrong with stir fries at any Chinese restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered chicken egg rolls, which were hefty and filling. For the main course, I ordered the chicken in black bean stir fry, and my husband got the shrimp Kung Pao chicken stir fry. We paired both with steamed rice. The black bean chicken was rich and earthy, with that deep, slightly funky flavor from the fermented black beans. It was very umami, salty and complimented nicely with the fresh, crisp vegetables and well-cooked chicken. I really liked it. The shrimp Kung Pao was spicy and tangy, with perfectly cooked shrimp (the fried shrimp covering was chefs kiss) and crispy veggies. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. The egg rolls were about $4 for two pieces, and the stir fries were around $17+ each. The portions are quite large compared to other places in the area, so the pricing seemed reasonable. For 2 main course dishes your bill could easily reach up to $40. Otherwise, The restaurant was clean, the staff was kind, and service was quick. It also wasn't too crowded when we visited. I would rate the service 4/5, mainly because we had to ask for silverware, condiments, and tissues separately. The food, though, is definitely a 5/5. Highly recommended! TLDR: 2 stars bc the food was ok, but still won't go back…read more I have ordered takeout and off the menu. I used to do the buffet, but got sick the last 2 times I tried it, so no more. This is one of the only places I can get honey sesame chicken though, so I continued to go here to order that from the menu. I hadn't been for quite a while due to a medical issue, and it turns out, I should have stayed away. From the moment I parked, it was a hot mess express. There were not enough handicapped spots for the # of businesses in the strip mall for starters, but that isn't really the restaurant's fault. On the plus side, they have redone the seating since I was last here and it was decently comfortable, but that's where the positive comments will end. The smell that hit me when I walked inside was horrendous, not a great start. I asked for a menu and the young women appeared VERY put out that I wanted to order from the menu; she kept saying "buffet" over and over, and I kept saying, "no, I need the menu please." I wanted to see if there was a combo for the honey sesame chicken. She finally brought over the menu and there was in fact a combo for the HSC, but all of the prices had been marked out with a sharpie. I pointed to the combo I wanted and asked how much and she gave me an odd look and raised her shoulders like she didn't understand me. I figure I was getting it anyway so I went ahead and ordered a coke and the HSC with fried rice; they have also always switched out the crab rangoon for an extra scoop of rice so I asked for that. The young lady took my order and left. A few minutes later, a young man brought me my drink and said. "no fried rice." I asked if he meant I could not sub it and he said "no fried rice, only white in combo." Me: "So let me get this straight, if I order the combo, I can't get fried rice?" Him: "no fried rice, only white rice. No 2 scoop." Me: "So I can't get rice instead of crab rangoon either?" Him: "no no no. No change, no fried rice." At this point I was super annoyed and just said fine, whatever. Just bring me the HSC for as cheap as you can. I'm hungry. The waitress came back with a gigantic plate, overflowing with HSC, and a teeny tiny little bowl of steamed rice, Not even enough for me to get full while sitting there in the restaurant, let alone enough to take home with the 2+ portions of HSC that were left over when I ran out of rice. You can't tell me it is less expensive to give a ridiculously large portion of chicken and minimal rice! I ate until I ran out of rice, never got a refill on my coke (they all ignored our table after dropping off the food), and left (still hungry) with 3/4 of the chicken in a take-out box, knowing I wouldn't eat it unless I bought rice to make. All of this, for the bargain price of almost $30, just for ONE PERSON! Never again.

The women (server) gave me the most inattentive and disrespectful up and down "checking me" type of look. My wife noticed this and decided to play it nice and gave the women a compliment on her jade bangle because she is well rounded. The women's attitude instantly changed and she became very happy and willing. I did eat everything I got. So when it came to the end things got weird. The power went out and at that point I was done. I wanted to leave so we came around to trying to pay. The environment was not welcoming at this point. After I paid the server basically needed me to sign the receipt so I did and the lady wanted me to write the total ....
