In an unassuming, little nondescript strip mall sits one of the best Thai experiences I've had in years. It served up big flavors and great food. I ordered the Duck curry. It was amazing. We got an appetizer sampler. Authentic and not shy about serving up the heat nor the exotic Thai flavors we love. Service was excellent -very courteous, very attentive, and so polite. Decent sized portions of food served up and plated beautifully. This is one of those places that really gives you more than you expect. We went at lunchtime. The restaurant was very busy. Yes. Yes. Yes. This is it! I have found the best Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) in the country! Perfectly cooked, perfect amounts of beef, noodles, broccoli, asparagus and basil, and... the perfect spice level. I ordered mild. This was just enough for the flavor but not too spicy. I have eaten a lot of drunken noodles and I can confidently say this rivals any restaurant in the country. To top it off the also offer a spring roll sampler. This place is absolutely fantastic! It was super clean. The staff were very friendly and patient (my husband and I had a hard time deciding on what to get). We got the crab ragoons, which were so delicious. For our entree we both got the Panang Curry with chicken and medium heat. I loved that you could choose how spicy your food was. Medium was pretty spicy for us. It wasn't so spicy that we couldn't eat it but it had a good burn and cleared out our sinuses a bit hahaha. This curry was amazing. I ordered the pineapple shrimp fried rice and my husband ordered the golden crab fried rice. They were both delicious! The size of the servings left us enough to have dinner and lunch the next day! This is our happy place. Let me start by saying the lunch special saves lives!! Same meal for a fraction of the price and you get two pieces of delicious crab rangoon served with your entree!! Yes please!!! The food is a bit pricey, but the portions are pretty generous and the taste is amazing. My husband says this is the best crab rangoon he's ever had and I might have to agree. We grab pickup from here whenever anyone comes to visit us. We honestly eat here multiple times a week (our kitchen is being remodeled). We love Thai food and now that we've found this place and it's so close, we can't get enough. Our favorite items are the pad thai, the panang curry, the curry fried rice, and the pad kimao (drunken noodles) - and of course we always order the crab rangoon as a starter and sometimes thai ice teas if we're looking to indulge a little. Do not do carry out! changing my review , this is the second time we have had to tell them that we are getting ripped off on portion sizes compared to pre covid with an increase of price. we will not be returning. rip someone else off going through the drive thru. absolutely ridiculous size portions. We actually drove back and got a refund on the last one. This one we will just deal with it and not return at least not carry out. We did call they said we had to raise the prices , hmmm yes we know that and that is fine but that does not mean you reduce the quantity by half the amount as well. They apologized and that was it. So we ate it and the chicken was horribly chewy and dry. We will give it a try inside sometime but never drive through. read more

Disappointing. My husband had the seafood curry, my son the seafood fried rice. They both liked them but not enough to ever go back. I had the catfish and it was so under cooked it was pink inside. it came over vegetables that reminded me of frozen Normandy vegetables but they threw some cabbage in. The waitress was nice and tried to help us with suggestions. The sauce was also much spicier than I anticipated. She looked at my fish and immediately took it back to the kitchen. We had to wait until they recooked fish, which was quite a bit and my family was done by the time I got mine. Fish was cooked better, still flavorless and now over cold vegetables she insisted were new. I ate the fish and picked at the white rice but left the rest. Zero offer of any type of discount for the experience knowing we were first time customers. We're last time customers now. Far from worth the $97.16 plus tip. read more

Best Thai food I have had in years, and we have a lot of choices back in Michigan. The pad thai was not up to the quality of homemade, but was much more tasty than your average pad thai. We ordered it "mild" and there was just a hint of heat, which was quite good. Tender chicken, not oily, not overly saucy. Love it! We also loved the thai cashew and spicy green beans - basically, Chinese dishes but 10x better. Besides the excellent flavor, they use legit vegetables - big chunks of good bell peppers, onions, etc. The green curry was good - nothing to complain about. We tried out the red curry duck and it was great. Would definitely order it again. At spice level medium, it made our noses run but didn't overwhelm the other flavors. The no-spice pad see eaw ("flat noodles" as our kids call them) was reliably boring - sweet and salty for the kiddos. The crab rangoons were exactly as expected, though we wish they would have been hotter. There was a delay in handing us our order because their rice cooker had broken, which could explain the loss of heat. Finally, the steamed dumplings were flavorful and well worth ordering! read more

We ended up eating here recently because Thai Spice was closed, and it did not disappoint! I liked the great natural light coming through the many windows. I ordered the Pad Thai, and I love how they offered it with or without peanuts or to have them on the side. The appetizer of Crab Rangoon was appealing & tasty. My friend inhaled his dish, and I enjoyed as much as I could and boxed the rest. The service/hospitality was great. I walked out without my box of food, and the waitress even brought it outside to me! Wow, I call that service! The food was delicious & served hot and the service was lovely. There a many places locally that serve good Thai food, but this is the best Pad Thai I've had in KC. It is authentic and fresh. I added shrimp to top off the wonderful lunch.
