We went for lunch last Saturday for the first time. I was glad I looked at Yelp reviews, because all of the choices were a little overwhelming. The staff were pretty friendly and patient. My husband got a lamb bowl and I got chicken. I really enjoyed the crazy feta. I was a little disappointed that they offered free pita chips for a 5 star review. At first, I just thought it was for a review and I was happy to do. My husband heard the 5 star part and neither one of us were comfortable with that since we had never been there. Not sure if it's a running joke at this point, or if they draw from a hat what to leave out or get wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME you order from them on door dash. I have ordered from them st least 10 times and they have NEVER (not exaggeration, never) gotten my order totally correct as I ordered it. Cava has terrible service, depending on if you are white, black or yellow, the amount is very different. Also when I asked to use my rewards they claimed that nothing came up. I have almost 3, 000 points but it never came up? Also the amount of the food was not even 1/3 of the bowl. Shame on Cava! read more

I was excited to try this restaurant for the first time. They were close to the field where my son was playing so it was convenient. I had the spicy lamb and avocado bowl and it was so flavorful and fresh. My son had the chicken shawarma pita which he really enjoyed. It was a lot of food for him (he's 13), and he was only able to eat half. He also enjoyed the mint lemonade. I can't wait until they open in St. Louis! read more

I AM OFFICIALLY A CAVA BABE!!!! I literally will be adding this to my weekly routine! I was VERY skeptical at first because I had a bad experience with Mediterranean food before. Isaac & Christian literally took their time explaining everything & allowed me to taste samples. There was another young lady that helped me with my topping sauces & she was super sweet too! There was literally a line behind me & they still stayed calm & helped me to build my bowl. I ate every single thing in my bowl! There was absolutely nothing left! HAHA. Ordered CAVA tonight for the first time. There was no roasted corn in either bowl. My daughter ordered greens and grain, she got no greens. She was missing feta as well. We also waited over an hour for delivery, so everything was lukewarm. read more

Cava is sort of a Greek fast food equivalent - the setup is similar to Chipotle - you pick a bowl or pita, then choose the toppings you want. I definitely love seeing some different-than-expected fast food options in this area. Usually it's just burgers and fries or Mexican food, so Greek food is a welcome change of pace!! The staff at this location were very friendly and it was easy to customize my order the way I liked it. The food is good, but I do think it's a bit on the salty side. This could be because I had them add kalamata olives - probably a mistake on my part because those are generally very salty. I still really liked my food despite the saltiness. A pretty great thing that I'm seeing in a lot of newer fast food chains like Cava is the amount of healthy options. I noticed that almost everything on the menu seemed fresh and on the healthier side. The interior was nice, and pretty typical of this style of restaurant. So if you're looking for a quick, yet healthy option for lunch or dinner, Cava is a good option!! read more

This place has become my new addiction! I love having this Mediterranean - salad type healthy option near home. I can still stay on my calorie deficit eating here as their website and app adds up all the calories for you. They are fast and accurate in ordering. Only time I've had any delay or issues is on Sunday afternoons when the lines are out the door, otherwise everything has been smooth! Walking in feels welcoming. They were quite busy, but we were still able to find a seat. The employees make it easy on you to order. They ask you and walk through each step of what you want starting with your greens base. I let them know I am temporarily on a special diet and they guided me through it asking if I wanted two types of greens, two to three types of dip, etc. the food was fresh and delicious. Avocado is an extra charge but worth it as they give you a heap of it, almost the size of a full one. Whether I'm still on this special diet or going back to a more regular diet, I cannot wait to go back and try more. I highly recommend the eggplant dip. That was delicious!! I first tried Cava back in October 2023 and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with my custom bowl order. It was missing all of the dips/spreads selections as well as the feta, and attempts to reach the restaurant to resolve the issue were unsuccessful. As a result, I left a bad review. However, I reached out to them on their website to share my experience, and they went above and beyond to make it right. They loaded a gift card for a meal onto my rewards account, which I appreciated. Since then, I've been back several times and have had nothing but positive experiences. I've come to really enjoy the fresh Mediterranean fare at Cava. The pitas are my favorite, and I also love the kids' meals - they're so good! Absolutely DELICIOUS. I wanted to try the lemon chicken salad because lemon chicken is my favorite and I saw a review about it but after my third trip to CAVA in 2 weeks I've found my favorites! The grain bowl is the way to go and my absolute favorite toppings are the red pepper hummus, crazy feta, tomato + onion and pickled onion. The lemon vinaigrette is SO LEMONY and it's delicious! The skhug id never had before but I really enjoyed it - basically a Greek pesto. And the garlic dressing is a MUST I wish I could get a larger side of it. But the very best thing at CAVA is the pita crisps and red pepper hummus. I would go just for the sides. The only negative I have is the Blondie is almost $4 and it's TINY, it's decent but not worth the price. The cookie is better anyway. I came here yesterday for lunch with my husband after he tried it two weeks ago with our son, and they both enjoyed their meals. I know that over a month ago, I had tried the Harissa Chicken meat here, and I thought it was a bit too salty. I still feel it's on the salty side; however, if in a bowl or in a wrap, I feel the meal can be decent, and maybe with some exceptions per customer's liking. Because I am a bit sensitive to taste, and in particular salt, I had to make some omissions to my Greek Chicken Wrap. I had omitted the salty pickles, and I believe next time I will most likely tell them to omit the Greek Vinaigrette, because honestly, it isn't necessary. It seems that with the hummus and tzatziki sauce there is plenty of saucy stuff to give the wrap plenty of taste without it needing a quarter cup of Greek Vinaigrette to saturate the wrap. I took a picture of the wrap after first bite and after several bites so that you can see the shiny saturation from vinaigrette. I also chose arugula instead of romaine, since I like arugula best. My husband had his build your own bowl, and can't recall what he put in it, but again he enjoyed it well. The service was good at the place, and haven't had any issues with the help here. It is still set up similar to Chipotle's setup but at least the people behind the counter here have a better attitude and interest in serving your meal to your liking. Overall, I also felt that the meal wasn't too badly priced for two meals at under $25, and it is much healthier too than fast food places. Last, but not least, I really enjoyed their signature beverages here. The blueberry lavender was out of this world. read more

We were wanting something different... My wife had been here before. So the pita chips are really good. Nice selection of some different drinks. Set up is a lot like Chipotle... Go thru line and choose your stuff. I think the screen should have the make your own menu stuff to left instead of on the right side where you pay. My wife got a Greek salad bowl and I tried falafel pita but with half lamb and no garlic... They're very accommodating. The pita was soft. The sauces and fillings were fresh. After one pm and they were very busy with both inside and patio seating nearly full. They were falling behind on wiping tables and the counter. The visit was nice enough and did was good enough of come back but $30 for lunch seems over priced for me but I know that's where most places are now. The lemonade is really good. read more

The food is always very good here. The issue is the customer service is spotty at best. Today, the woman adding the dressing and such forgot my pickles (comes with the spicy chicken+avocado pita) and I politely asked for the pickles and she pointed to the onions stating they're already on there, rolling her eyes at me. As she applied the dressing, she rudely said, more?! I had to wait to pay for my order, stayed in the store, unwrapped the pita, then showed the gentleman at the register I had no pickles and he helped me out. Even if the pita didn't come with pickles, when asked, just add them. I still have to pay after that point, so if you think you have to charge me, so be it. It cost nothing to check your attitude at the door. We were not rude, needy, etc., I simply wanted what I paying for and your employee was on some rude power trip. read more

I enjoyed Cava. It is Mediterranean food with a set up similar to Subway, Pita Pit and many other similar establishments. I had the spicy lamb pita. It was not very spicy but still had good flavor. My wife had the balsamic chicken which she also enjoyed. They had a wide variety of lemonade drinks which were also good. The staff was efficient and the food areas were clean. Only drawback was the bathroom. Apparently one was without toilet paper and a family member had the get some from the staff. Otherwise the bathrooms were clean. read more

Cava is such a yummy, satisfying, low calorie, healthy meal for my endless quest to control my diet. I can put together a meal online and know exactly how many calories are in it. I usually go with the bowl on greens with the dressing on the side. I have enough calories left over to do a couple baked pitas, such a treat!
