I feel like you can never go wrong with a CAVA. I absolutely love how you can customize your meal and the variety of fresh options that they provide. This CAVA was an absolute hit. Online ordering was simple and the drive-thru to pick up was a breeze.

The staff were rude and unwilling to answer questions about ingredients. The portions were small, not like what is shown in advertisements.

I LOVE CAVA! The food is DELICIOUS! I have been to this location a few times and their ambiance is so friendly! It's easy to stay and chat with my friends for an hour or so until I'm ready to leave. One note is that depending on the time you go they get a little stingy with the protein serving amounts. Sometimes it's worth it when they serve a lot. I definitely think the veggies should be free instead of getting charged double for them. I totally recommend their delicious food nevertheless!

I ordered a kids meal and asked for steak not knowing it was charged extra the worker did not say anything about it and then gave me an extremely small portion of steak.

So, I've been driving past this place and at first, I wasnt sure I'd like it. But I ordered online and gave it a try. The food prices are scary. 15 dollars for a pita? Well, its fine when its freakin' 5 pounds, lol. The brownies are tasty, but not for $2.65. IT'S LITERALLY 2"X2". My wife got a Chicken & Rice bowl. GEEZ, its HUGE...My only issue is that it was missing the side of pita that was supposed to come with it. So, I ordered thru the app and drove through to pick it up. I'm used to checking in at a sign then pulling through, but I guess Cava doesnt do this, which is fine. I pulled through and a gentleman answered the window pretty quickly and asked the name on the order and came back with everything (well, ALMOST everything). I asked if the brownies were there and he was like, is it?...so I looked in and saw them...figured everything else would be there. We were missing the pita, but it's not worth calling about or driving back for. So, will I come back? Sure, I really liked my spicy chicken pita, but I would remove the pickles. They are good, but not my style on my order...But I will come back. $38 for a spicy chicken pita, chicken & rice bowl and 2 brownies. the saving grace is the sheer weight of everything. Ill definitely be back...I just hope that the service is better than I've read about in other reviews.

I was really looking forward to trying Jerusalem Café in Mission for the first time since I've…read morealready tried most of the great Middle Eastern restaurants around KC. But honestly, I was a bit disappointed because I didn't feel the food was worth the price for the portion size. I ordered the combo kebab platter with beef kofta and lamb skewers, which came with two sides and that's basically all that's on the plate with one 4 small cuts of pita bread and some rice. It was priced at $21 plus tax. The food tasted good, but the meat portions were very small. The kofta had a nice smoky flavor but was really thin and kinda short, and there was only one lamb skewer stick with 4-5 mid sized pieces which were seasoned well but felt a little chewy. For that price, I expected more meat in my plate! Other places like Meddys, Hummus & Pita Co or Yafa Café serve larger portions for a similar or even lower price and honestly, their food tastes even better in my opinion. Overall, I'd give the food 3.5 to 4/5 for taste, and the overall experience also 3/5, mainly because of the portion size and pricing. Otherwise the restaurant itself was clean with good decor and had some pretty wall art. The staff were really sweet and happy to serve us with a wait time of around 8-10 mins. I wish them all the best and if you haven't tried other Middle Eastern spots around KC, you will still like it here.

You feel welcomed the second you walk in, and somehow that warmth makes its way into the food too. I've tried just about every Mediterranean spot in Kansas City, and this one stands out every single time. It tastes the most authentic and the least commercial by far. Everything feels fresh, intentional, and made with care. Nothing tastes rushed or mass produced. There's real love in the food here, and you can taste it. Their dolmas especially take me right back to my grandmother's kitchen. That kind of food memory is hard to put into words, but if you know, you know. Comforting, fresh, flavorful, and made in a way that feels deeply rooted and genuine. With the World Cup approaching and so many people coming through Kansas City, visitors need to know about places like this. These are the local spots worth seeking out. The kind you leave talking about afterward and craving again the next day. And if they have the mint lemonade, order it. The rose lemonade is always incredible too. If you can get both, mix them and thank me later. A true Kansas City gem. You won't regret stopping here.
