TBH, I don't know who actually comes to Yelp for a Panera review... but here we are. Overall, this location is fine. The food is consistently good--no complaints there. The real problem is the coffee. They switched to these new machines that drive me crazy. You can't control how much coffee you want, and if you try to pull your cup out early, the stream keeps going and splashes all over your shirt. Instant coffee stains--thanks, Panera. So, in short: food = great, coffee = disaster. If you're here for a meal, you're good. If you're here for coffee... maybe not. read more

A new fast food place on RT47 in Huntley. New, clean , fast and and more healthier.A much better alternative to McDonalds and the other surrounding fast food places. Smaller dining room I think but the new thing is drive thru I guess. Hope they keep up the good work here. read more

Bacon was old and soup was cold. Italian sub was very greasy. Very over piced for a bad meal.

I ordered a salad today and was surprised by the poor quality of the ingredients. Chicken was slimy and traslucent, avocado was mushy and old looking, mixed greens was primarily iceberg lettuce (I did hunt and find a few leaves of other greens). I asked the girl at the window for some pepper packets and she seemed SO put off by my request for pepper. I was also never offered an option for my side (bread, chips or apple) I thought that was odd as I'm typically offered that option at other Panera locations. This is not a location I woud normally visit and by the time I got back to my office (25 minute drive) it was too late to do anything about it. I picked through it and ate what I could. Felt like a huge waste of $15. So much for treating myself today while being out and about for work. read more

Ate there today with my family. Ordered and waited an extremely long time for food. We finally went to the counter only to find our food had been sitting there for at least 6 minutes. When we asked why we weren't told it was ready we were told they had called our name 5 times. We never heard our name or anyone's name called. Soup and sandwich were cold. We asked them to be reheated. The counter employees are kind and helpful. The kitchen staff not so much. read more

My brother who is 80 went in to the Panera at 12032 Route 47 and ordered 60.00 worth of food last weekend. He paid with a debit card. He accidently put a 54.00 tip on the STUPID machine that asks if you want to leave a tip!!!! The girl said the manager wasn't there so she couldn't do anything. After waiting 10-15 minutes he left. Someone called him on Monday and said they are working on it!!!!!!! Today is Wednesday and still NO credit. This is soooooooooooo unacceptable!!! What is wrong with you people for asking for a tip when they do nothing....they are not servers!!!! Shame on Panera...who knows how many Seniors have been ripped off!!! We have tried on several occasions to give this location a chance, but there is always an issue. From poor food quality, food temperature, wrong cream cheese, bagels all cut when we asked twice not to cut them, the clerk at the counter taking my order, then stopping midway to take and fill an order behind me. Today, I got the wrong change, the girl "forgot" I gave her a $20not a $10. I had to return,and she held up my $20 and said "Oh, here." I give up on this place. read more

Had one good experience with a woman with curly hair, bangs, a nose piercing and glasses. She was extremely kind and took our first order. We then after lunch ordered some food to go for family, and my mom misunderstood how many cups i had purchased for the meal. She went up to grab the cup i had purchased and mentioned kindly that she believes i had purchased 2 cups and the people behind in the kitchen were extremely rude and unkind when throwing the cups down on the counter in front of her and walking away. She kindly apologized because she had misunderstood and brought the other cup back, and they just gave her sarcastic response of "uhauh". Making snarky comments, dirty looks, and having 0 grace for the misunderstanding. One kind employee out of 5 who were rude and disrespectful. read more

Ambiance is lacking here. It feels like I'm sitting in a cafeteria. The line to order is right next to tables where people are eating. The 3' wall provides no privacy so anyone sitting there is less than 2 feet from the people ordering. There's a table next to a garbage can, and another next to the drink area and a garbage can. Shame on Panera for making people sit near these areas. Very loud and cold. Not like the other Paneras I frequent. Food is same quality as other stores, but with the cafeteria floor plan it really takes away the ambiance that other Paneras have. As I waited by the pickup area, there were carts next to the p/u window with bread on them. A definite magnet for a child - or germs from customer sneezes or coughs. Yuck! ... Forgot to mention-the staff was doing a good job-no issues there. Wanted to mention staff-they did a great job-courteous and working hard. read more

I've been here a few times, the location is convenient and a nice addition to the area. My only complaint is the speed of getting food through the drive thru. I've waited between 5 and 10 minutes every time. The Panera on Randall Road manages to charge your card and get your food out to you without having you pull over into the parking lot. They're way faster. If you're in a hurry, on your way to work etc. I suggest you try somewhere else because you will be waiting a while. read more

This place is not worth the visit. I've never had a bad experience at a Panera until this one opened. I'm a sip club member and visit 5-6 days a week. Half the time or maybe even less the food is actually good. The store itself lacks ambiance and doesn't look like your normal Panera. However the bigger issue is the lack of quality. Ive ordered an Asiago bagel 5 times in the last couple months and they haven't gotten the order right a single time. Even though I always ask for the bagel to not be toasted it comes back toasted and literally hard as a rock, it goes straight to the trash. Few weeks ago I order their own breakfast sandwich without any modifications, a sausage egg and cheese on an Asiago. I got the sandwich and it was very sticky. To my surprise they put it on a cinnamon sugar bagel which was disgusting. They are so bad it's almost comical at this point. I've brought it to the managers attention and her only solution is to issue a credit but seems disinterested in actually fixing the issue. I'll be going elsewhere. read more
