This place is a good place to study. Their wi-fi is alot faster than Starbucks, but the only thing is that from 11am-2pm you can be logged on for about 30 minutes. But this place does have a good parking lot and the noise level is about the same as Starbucks. Service: Besides one employee named Andrew (there are actually 2 workers named Andrew, the skinny Andrew is the nice one. The other one... not so nice) all the other employees are super nice and friendly. Professionalism on the other hand can use a little work. Food: All their sandwiches, soups, bakery items are all delicious! List of Items I would highly recommend. -Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich -Steak and Cheddar Panini -Broccoli Cheddar Soup -Chocolate Chip Muffie Overall: I would definitely recommend this place either for studying or a healthy lunch. read more

Atmosphere: Nice chillaxing study place. Also, great place to hang out and catch up with friends for lunch, dinner, or drinks! :) Service: Sometimes it's quick, sometimes it's slow depending on how many cashiers are working. Today, we had a very kind lady. :) Food: Ordered a hazelnut coffee, which was delicious with a bit of half & half, about 5 packets of sugar, and a hint of honey. I wish they had soy milk as an option in addition to skim milk and half & half. Price: ~$2 Tip: - Awesome spacious study spot!!! (except some outlets are crappy -_-; so maybe test out the outlet you're sitting by before you settle down) - Sign up for the Panera card to earn discounts or free pastries! Conclusion: I love studying at Panera! After lunch, it gets pretty quiet. Also, there's tons of space. The only con is that my Apple laptop charger doesn't work in some of the outlets because it keeps falling out. -_-;; read more

Marcy, a manager, gave me a half cup of hot choco as IF that was the thing to do. A very nice server refilled them and told me her name and who to complain to. Wtf Panera? I'm out. I filed a complaint with the corporate office and I tweeted Panera who did respond. Whether they look into it or not, I will never spend a Canadian penny here ever again. read more

I love Panera Bread in general but my experiences at this location are not always the greatest. I usually come in once or twice a month because I work close by but every time I come in there's always a problem (order wise). Customer service is decent. Most times I've opted for the mobile app because it's 3x as fast and accurate than ordering at the register. I came in today & ordered at the register since I had time. Place was not even busy around 10am. I ordered a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich preferably on Farmhouse style and over easy egg. Opened my bag, I have egg yolk running all over the place and a sausage sandwich.... I didn't have time to say anything as I am now at work. All I ask is to be mindful/accurate with orders especially when someone is talking to you face to face when it is DEAD SLOW. Also, thanks for squishing my egg-yolk making it extremely messy to eat and now my sandwich is soaked. read more

Very impressed with covid standards, organized well for take out. We ate on the patio, staff was conscientious about keeping the patio clean & accommodating with our requests. Food we ordered was fresh, nice to have cold coffee as an option in the beverage dispenser area. read more

The value you get for your money is not there. We order pickup from them and we ALWAYS have to check our order even though they have someone there whose job is ONLY to check food.. Our grilled cheese sandwich not only was not toasted, it also had the wrong bread entirely. A wheat bread grilled cheese? Really? Our macaroni and cheese also had macaroni but we were unable to locate any cheese, it seriously looked like they served it with a slotted spoon to make sure all the cheese dripped off of it. The only thing in our latest order that was correct was the tomato soup..but I had to ask for the croutons...like I have to do 80% of the time we pick up. I think this was the last straw for us, the low value, high cost, and constant mistakes do not make this place worth it. read more

The worst panera I've been too! Never have anything always running out of stuff and when you order online on the Panera app it says the stuff is available but when I arrive to pick up my order they don't have something!Yesterday I ordered the baja Mac and cheese on the online app with everything on it when I go In to pick up my order I didn't think I had to open the container to make sure everything was in it but of course once I get home there was no avocado in it! Honestly the only reason I got it was because of the avocados and comes to find out there wasn't any in it! I was so disappointed I called and of course nobody answers! Very irritating I Will not be going back to this panera anymore I've had enough! read more

A big sign says "Dining Room Open" but only a few tables are available inside. I eat at Panera Bread at least once per week but have learned to avoid this location. Lines are long, service poor. I suggest one of the Fremont locations instead. read more

3.5 stars I'm not sure why, the service is a bit slowly here. Nevertheless, I just come here on the weekends if I need a place to study. All the other locations are packed on the weekends. "For all my panera's reviews- I loved Panera bread,great place to relax during the mornings and free wifi (limited during peak hours). I've been to a few locations around the bay and one in Philly. Like any franchise, the consistency of the food is always the same. If it wasn't for panera bread, I would not have ate so much bagels these past two years! Shame on you ! This locations is even more of a mess after Covid. I must be some kind of glutton for punishment as I keep coming back here - it's just there is not much around here for a quick work lunch. I typically order online, and it has not been even close to expected pickup time ever. And the issue is they don't tell you it is running late until after the time is was supposed to be ready, so you end up just standing around foe a long while. Today my order was 25 minutes late. i don't think it's been less then 15 minutes late in tbe last year. read more

Trying to make more healthy food choices I found this today on yelp. Great choice. They have healthy choices and apple side instead of chips. They also have some less healthy sweet treats in the bakery. Fresh bread, bagels, cookies. I had the soup and 1/2 sandwich great. Good soup, fresh tasty sandwich. Will eat here again. Overwhelming at first when you walk in and try and decide what to get, so check out the menu so you will be ready. Enjoy read more

I love this chain and I seriously love their unlimited coffee program for such a low monthly subscription. As someone who is self employed I'm glad that they also have outdoor seating. Friendly staff too. Their food is always so fresh too. My body thanks me for going here instead of Jack in the box lolol read more

Thank you Panera, for FREE Wi-Fi! You saved me on a couple of occassions when our internet was out. The food is good and it is nice to have bistro type cusine in the neighborhood. The Mushroom Soup and Chicken Sun-dried Tomato Pesto Sandwich is the best. Everything tastes fresh and it feels nice to know you're not eating anything too fatty. read more

Good food and service. And their wifi is awesome. Comfortable seating, and free coffee refills. My only complaint is that the muzak is WAY too loud - I just wear earphones and play music while I work. Otherwise, I'll be back. read more

I would like to give them more stars, but I am just a little annoyed that this is the 3rd time this place got my order wrong. I usually do the rapid pick up and order online. The first time, they did not give me my sides and the order was not ready at the time promised. The second time I got the wrong salad. Today I got the wrong sandwich, my customization was incorrect, and the order was not ready at the time promised. I like their food and have never gotten this same service at any other panera. Each time also I never got an apology for the meals being late. I never got to complain about the orders being ready because I'd already left. I just hope this doesn't happen again, I really like their food. read more

They must be trying to save on condiments because we had the smallest amount of Mayo on our turkey sandwich and the chipotle chicken didn't have any sauce. After we added our own they were decent. Ordered for curb pick up. Easy! read more

The prices, the price, the prices have soared; most likely due to rising gas prices. You can't really buy anything item that's under five dollars, while the baked goods have also raised. Drinks are pretty ridiculous as well. $3.50 for a small frozen lemonade drink? These amusement park prices aren't worth the ride. Panera is still a good place for air conditioning and wifi. read more

You can never go wrong with Panera! They have a great selection of soups, salads, and breads. Waitstaff takes your order, they bring it to you, you enjoy your meal, and you go on with the rest of your day. The standard experience for any Panera restaurant. However, this location definitely needs some improvement. I've been here several times in the past, and until recently I haven't seen a Panera location so run-down. While lines were forming out the door, there was only one cashier working the front who lacked customer service. It took them awhile to open up another cash register. Tables needed attention, however between the time we arrived and the time we left, no one bothered to clean up. Outside seating areas needed some love also. Regardless, food came and it was delicious as always. I ordered the Thai Chopped Chicken Salad with a side of bread. Other items I go for at Panera include the Tomato Basil Panini, the Mediterranean Sandwich, and of course the Broccoli Cheddar Soup. If you're looking for something sweet, also give the Chocolate Pastry or the Fresh Fruit Pastry a try! Probably won't go back to this specific location anytime soon, but Panera definitely offers some good eats! read more

Ordered online for a half Ceasar. Added egg, spinach, And dressing. Didnt get any of that. I paid for that egg. Youd think i get what i paid for. And no dressing? Come on panera. We came to this location on Saturday the 14th and we got there at 7:45 PM. We had to drive her neck for 20 minutes to be here and when we got here there were two employees sitting outside saying that we closed today early. They stated that they close at 6 PM. The restaurant is this ours posted online and on the door that the restaurant closes at 8 PM. If you close at 6 PM why are you two still sitting in front of restaurants closer to 7:38 PM? read more

I'm not a big reviewer, but I was shocked at the awesome customer service. I think it's a manager that was circulating the dining area asking people if they needed anything. The tables were all clean and he asked us if we wanted him to take away our dishes when we were done. Props to him - I think his name is Eddie. In contrast, we went to the Boudin in Newark in December and there were no clean tables. We couldn't even find napkins to clean the table (cashier was busy) so we just ate at a corner of a semi-clean table. Food is as expected for a Panera. read more

It was my very first time here. First off, it was very clean inside and service was fast. There was a table I needed cleaned asked one of the guys if I could get a wet cloth so I could wipe it, he wiped it right away for us. I think it's cool that they bring your food to the table, so that was nice. I thought they'd just called your # when it's ready and you get it yourself. I made an order at 10:30 AM to be ready by 11:30 AM I arrived at the Panera in Hayward at 11:25 and it was not ready the lady spoke to me and told me it would be 15 to 10 minutes which it took them 25 minutes to make my order I left the Panera at almost 12 o'clock mind you our corporate offices have to have lunches we spent over $115 then I said fine maybe they got backed up I got all the way back to Castro valleyI opened the bag and realized that the orders were wrong they were missing three sandwiches that we had ordered this is completely unacceptable not only did I wait over 30 minutes to get an order that I had made at 10:30 But I had to drive 20 minutes back all to realize that the order was incorrect when I called the manager told me I had to drive all the way back to get a reimbursement that he would not be able to do a reimbursement over the phone this is completely outrageous when it was their fault that they did not give me the items that I paid for on top of me waiting an extra 30 minutes at the location this is not how you treat your customers mostly when they spent a lot of money here. Horrible curbside pick up...I ordered 7 sandwiches through the online website at 10:45 and they said it'll be ready by 11:18. So I get there at 11:15 and I wait until 11:22 then I call them and say I'm waiting outside. The manager still tells me they're finishing up my last sandwich. They finally bring it out and I check everything...there are only 6 sandwiches in the bag. I tried calling again and there was no answer, so I had to go INSIDE and Show them my receipt! I'm not getting Panera curbside pick-up anytime soon. read more

Came here only for bagels. Got half a dozen with cream cheese for $10. Bagels are pretty good and stay fresh if you eat it a few days after. I wish they had more cream cheese choices though. Took a while to get my bagels even though there was no one there. Also, I was really confused with how their kiosk machines worked, so I just ordered at the register. read more

I absolutely love Panera. They're polite, friendly, and get your order out fast. I always order the Pick 2 with Smoked Turkey Breast and Chicken Noodle Soup. Both of them are absolutely delicious. I also recommend their Iced Green Tea but if you don't like your green tea sweet, this isn't for you. They have an option to add a bakery treat for 99cents which I think is a good deal because some of their bakery items are pretty pricey. For breakfast, I highly recommend their soufflés and breakfast sandwiches. It's the perfect place for a quick lunch or breakfast and they have a great study environment. read more

I had such an unpleasant experience ordering to-go at Panera that I stopped halfway through my meal to send them my feedback. I figured I'd just copy/paste what I told them here. My first issue was the amount of pressure involved in ordering. Upon entering Panera, it took me a moment to decipher that there were two different sets of menus. It appeared at first that you need to be in one line or there other (as each menu has a set if cash registers beneath it) so I spent a few moments attempting to asses which menu I wanted to order off of. Unfortunately, every 7 seconds or so a cashier would cheerily interrupt my attempts at reading said menus to let me know they were ready to help when we were. This was already readily apparent. They were standing in front of cash registers, with no customers nearby. Eventually I caved in to the tenth or so call from a cashier requesting "ANY customers that are ready...YET?" and ordered a the chicken salad sandwich. I could not have been more disappointed in what I received. I came to Panera because it is known for THE BREAD. The bread I was served was soggy and tasteless. Sadly, the chicken salad matched. The chicken salad available at my local grocery store is a monumental step up from that which I paid $7 for at Panera. The capper for my unpleasant trip was the bread selection in the bakery. I decided to make a trip to Panera (a few towns over from my home) because I wanted to buy a half dozen sandwich rolls to use tomorrow and an office lunch. There were exactly zero to choose from. In fact, the entire selection was limited to four or five different loaves and a couple of sourdoughs bread bowls. So um...ya, I don't intend on returning. read more

However today my view has shifted, ordering was tricky as the cashier was quiet and awkward and made it difficult to order. Additionally waiting for our food took longer than expected as majority of the to go order were being prioritized, not only that but we had to ask for our cookies a third time as they neglected to hand them to us. There was one lady that works there and she was always friendly but I have to say that's the only thing that was good about my experiences. Mostly All new workers, I ordered a mocha and after nearly 20mins of waiting they told me they don't have it. So I got a vanilla iced coffee instead and it had no flavor. Good thing is the manager gave me a refund for the drink. Don't plan to come back here at this location. The service is good but it is obvious that they are still learning. I was super hAngry one early evening and I was able to kill this whole plate. Satisfying but probably wouldn't get again, a one n done. Weekday Power Breakfast ($11/4*) This is only available on the weekdays and only for limited part of the morning. It is your basic breakfast plate, but you can choose on how to customize it. I did eggs over easy, sausage links and country potatoes. Pretty basic but done really well and cleanly. More finesse on my breakfast out than my dinner out. You can choose pancakes or a waffle if you want something sweetish on your breakfast plate. Eggs were perfect, nice golden yolks. Sausage links were much bigger than your standard, but you only got 2. Very soft texture and mild sage flavor. The potatoes were diced waxy potatoes, so it had a creamy sweetness to it. Also spiced a bit with a tasty paprika seasoning and sauteed with onions and bell pepper. Classic. Their coffee is average diner level coffee. I didn't love it, but it did the job. Can't have breakfast at a diner and not have coffee. At least my conditioning/repetition has me believing so. Got a Fried Chicken Plate ($20/3.5*) for take-out on another evening and it was a monster portion. Chicken was nicely fried with a salty crust, that wasn't crazy crisp. But maybe my take-out format caused some lost for texture. Still tasty, with mashed potato, white gravy this time and lots of steamed veggies. Also comes with a salad. I was able to stretch this out to 3 meals which kinda surprised me. Like the roast beef plate, more filling and satisfying than it was 'wow'. But for a neighborhood diner, you simply cannot expect 'wow' food. But you can expect comfort and familiarity. And to that Manor Grill delivered.

I don't know what restaurant all the positive reviews went to. Or just conditioned to $$$$ crappy food. But Don't waste your time, and definitely don't waste your $$$ here. Go get something real to eat for this cost...Not at this place...
