Very nice young lady took our breakfast order. Quiet and clean inside. Bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. Hot coffee!

This is the slowest Panera on the planet. I have never in my life has to wait 40 minutes after ordering for a sandwich.

Stopped by today and the service was good but the staff didn't have a mask on for safety. Not sure if I should go back.

I'm so happy that we got a Panera Bread in Gettysburg. I've never had a problem at this location. Food is great and it's a nice layout

This is the spot to get hamburgers in Gettysburg. Theirs are huge, made of prime meat, and…read morepresented hot & juicy. I always order my burger medium-rare, and that's what I get here. I can't tell you how many times that medium is what I usually get when requesting medium-rare at restaurants. There's a big difference between the two in terms of internal temperature, center color, and texture. This place knows how to properly cook a medium-rare burger, and for me, that's a sign of quality and sets it apart. The sidewinder fries are fab as are the homemade potato chips and either comes with burgers. The dressing on the coleslaw needs some seasoning, but the slaw itself is fresh and crunchy. The Maryland crab soup is pretty slammin', too. I favor the back dining room, not the bar (in front). These 2 areas have different vibes. The back room feels like the way a burger joint should be. The bar is, well, more bar-ish. One of the servers, Brody, provides exceptional service--a shout out to him. This establishment's name is playful and clearly informs the customer as to what their specialty is: hamburgers. I bought one of their T-shirts, perhaps that says it all.

First I'll say that the service here was top notch. I should've left and found another option altogether. We both ordered burgers (of course), his a bacon cheeseburger with fries and coleslaw, mine a patty melt on rye bread with Swiss cheese, fries and coleslaw. Both medium rare. Both came out medium well, no coleslaw, one invisible slice of cheese on each burger and white bread instead of rye on my patty melt. The grilled onions actually looked more like onion jam and the trays with black/white checkered paper this is served on looks like it's never seen a sponge or water. No, I can't recommend this place.

We've been coming to Gettysburg for YEARS and somehow never made it into Gettysburg Eddie's. After…read morefinally trying it, we're mad we waited this long! We came in about an hour before closing, and our server Aedan was absolutely wonderful. She was energetic, sweet and attentive, and never made us feel rushed. Easily some of the best service we've had in a long time. We started with the Supreme Nachos, and these are definitely meant to SHARE! They were HUGE and absolutely loaded. The housemade chips were incredibly crispy, and I loved the addition of banana peppers. They added a tangy bite and different kind of heat alongside the jalapeños. Some of the best nachos we've had outside of a Mexican restaurant, and our table of four still only finished about half! My mother-in-law got the Reuben with onion rings and said it was the BEST Reuben she's ever had. That says a lot because it's one of her usual orders when eating out. She especially loved how flavorful and tender the corned beef was. My husband got the Tuesday special of 3 steak tacos for $10. The steak was tender and tasted like quality cuts of beef. His only criticism was that it could use more seasoning and that a housemade spicy ranch or signature sauce could really take the tacos to the next level. I got the fish and chips, and the haddock was MASSIVE! The thin, crispy batter stayed perfectly attached, and the fish was hot, flaky and tender. The very thin tail end was slightly dry, but it was such a small portion that it didn't take away from the meal. The biggest surprise was their housemade tartar sauce. Creamy, tangy and slightly sweet from the relish. Hands down my favorite tartar sauce I've had! The seasoned battered waffle fries were also delicious, and they give you a TON. The coleslaw wasn't personally my preferred style since I like a finely minced, sweeter and juicier slaw, while theirs was longer shredded and drier, but that's completely personal preference. Portions here are HUGE, so several meals could easily be shared or give you plenty of leftovers. We also loved the cozy neighborhood pub atmosphere with exposed brick, dark wood, baseball and Eddie Plank memorabilia, and moodier lighting. Between the food, atmosphere, huge portions and especially Aedan's wonderful service, Gettysburg Eddie's has officially earned a spot in our Gettysburg rotation. We can't wait to come back!

We were there on a busy Saturday; they were clearly slammed and probably understaffed, and it took a bit over 20 minutes after ordering to get our food. Other than the wait for the kitchen, the service at the table was very good. It felt a bit pricey at about $62 for two with tip. Cheesesteaks were good but on the small side for $17 and $19 (the latter on a gluten‑free bun), and a little light on the Cheese Whiz. That, plus a cider and a Coke, left the overall experience somewhat underwhelming.
