The woman working at the drive thru window was very pleasant and efficient - - great customer service. However, she was the only good thing about my visit. I ordered a whole Turkey, Avocado BLT sandwich. This was probably the worst BLT I've had. There were a few small pieces of bacon, one small slice of tomato on each side and a hunk of terribly UNripe avocado which was not sliced up. Not only did it have bite to it, but it practically crunched. I did like the choice of greenery (lettuce) they used. The bread was dry and no bite of the sandwich had more than one or two ingredients in it. This visit was extremely disappointing as this sandwich was more than $11 and this restaurant is touted as having great sandwiches. This was not yummy. I can see why this Panera Bread has such low ratings. Went there on a Sunday morning 8:15 am to find that all coffee containers needed to be refilled. Got an attitude from the manager when I went to inform them of the issue. When I spoke with one of the other customers they said that this particular location was the worst in terms of customer service. I could not agree more. As one that travels frequently for business, this location is in need of a good leader / manager to set the example for the employees on how good customer service should be. Panera Bread in Centreport gets zero stars. I have been there twice and the service has been pathetic and the only thing worse has been the food...if I can actually get food. But this was the last straw...I drove over in the rain to support my local Centerport business and at 9:30pm ( they close at 10pm) they did not have the soup I wanted and since I was in the drive through, I had to wait 10 minutes to leave because they have a locked in drive through lane. 10 minutes of my time wasted because they couldn't have the full menu available during open hours. NEVER NEVER NEVER go to this Panera Bread. The one time I actually got food it was awful, the employees have no clue as to what they are doing and most likely they wont have what you want available even though they are open. Horrible place and I will never step foot in there ever. I live in Centreport and we do not look kindly on places in the neighborhood that fail to live up to expectations. The staff were extremely friendly, the WiFi was fast and the food was good. I came for dinner and to get some work done. I got the you-pick-two with the Southwest Chili Lime Ranch Salad and 10 Vegetable soup. Both were very tasty. The young lady working behind the counter was very polite and friendly. I ate while watching videos for a course I'm taking and the WiFi worked great. There was a young man helping in the dining area who cleared my plates and even offered to refill my drink. Life is short! Go to another Panera location! Avoid this one, especially during the breakfast shift. About a week ago, I go in. There's no one at the register. I wait for a while, and then go with the touch screens. I order. I pay. They don't have the Greek Yogurt, so I ask for my money back--politely as someone can ask for their money back--and one employee argues with me! The manager steps in and says they'll make the yogurt. (Uh, thanks? Why was this an issue?) They don't toast the bagel. I say it's not toasted. They argue again. Then yesterday, I return for the first time since the last incident. I do the drive thru. Every time I have been here the workers are rude or ignore me. When I go through the drive through I have had at least 3 different workers and they have always rushed me and been rude. Ordered a roasted turkey BLT, Mediterranean Veggie, broccoli cheddar soup, and bistro French onion soup. The soups were good, I will say that was tasty. On the sandwiches, both presentations were as if a 5 year old put them together. On the roasted turkey BLT, the 1/2 avocado was whole on each half of the sandwich. It wasn't sliced up or anything. The most disappointing part is that I was charged for a roasted turkey BLT and got a BLT with avocado, they completely forgot the roasted turkey. On the Mediterranean Veggie, they forgot the hummus and feta on the sandwich. They used chopped lettuce as they use for their salads for the lettuce used on the sandwich. Completely disappointed in the Panera and will never recommend anyone to eat here. read more

I've ordered catering meals several times through this Panera, and they have been late several times with no advance or headed up to me either via email or a phone call. No follow up initiation on their end to try and make it right, which really disappointing. They have not proven they are reliable. Their technology stinks bc you can't get connected to a live person on the first try no matter which option you select. Each time I've had to call, I have had to call 3-6 times to get to an active voice without the phone system hanging up on me bc no one answers. The location is ok, but the staff and management are HORRIBLE! We did curbside pickup, but only one of the order was delivered and it wasn't even the full order. After 10 mins I had to go in and pick up my meal and the rest of the other order. Received a survey about my service and filled it out. The manager left me a message and I did call him back. I actually called him back with NO return calls back. I even filled out a customer service letter 2 weeks after the calls and STILL haven't heard anything. I can now understand why the service is bad at this location. If management doesn't care, the rest of the employees don't care. There are a number of other places to eat at in this area. I'm very disappointed with this store - I waited for my order for over an hour and saw maybe 10 meals come out. There were other people who had been waiting even longer than I had. At one point I watched and saw that not a single order came out of the kitchen in over 15 minutes. I really have no idea what happened but if a system went down and lost all our orders management should have let us know. After waiting for an hour and knowing they still hadn't gotten to the 6 people ahead of me I just cut my losses and left. This location is completely awful! Sure, it's new and looks pretty, but the employees are slow and spend their time walking around talking instead of actually working. I'm watching now as two girls sit there and talk behind the register instead of helping the guy that walked in to the store. They are unorganized and loud. If you are ordering catering, DO NOT order from this Panera. I ordered a catering order awhile back, and we only received half of order, and it was 45 minutes late! We were having a large meeting, and it was very embarrassing to not have enough food for our attendees. 2 hours after we should have started eating, we finally had all of our food. It took over a month to process our refund. Months went by, and despite my better judgment, I ordered from them again. The breakfast catering went flawless, but I decided to order lunch as well. That was my mistake. They changed their catering options, so I could not order individual bowls. This is a horrible decision in the middle of COVID. We are not allowed to serve food here that is not individually packaged. Since my attendees wanted soup, I placed a to-go order instead. Again, food was missing from our order, and I had to drive up there to get more food! I even had to drive back up there after lunch rush to get my refund. When they refunded me, they didn't even to seem to care about the inconvenience they had caused. I will never order food from this location again, and I suggest you don't either. read more

The food here is good when they actually get it right, however there is only a 50/50 chance of that happening. I've been coming here about once a week since they opened and they never consistently get orders correct. One time the bacon tomato grilled cheese had ZERO bacon. Another time they made an entirely wrong sandwich i ordered the almond chicken salad and got something completely different, not sure what. Today ordered almond chicken salad sandwich and there were ZERO almonds!!! Seriously Panera? The name of the sandwich is Napa ALMOND chicken salad! Several times the chips or side of bread were missing from Other orders. The food costs too much for the service to be so bad! Went to Panera on 5/14... and I have to say I'm super underwhelmed.. ordered 2 pick 2, both had Mac n cheese as one of the items. The employee proceeds to tell me that they are out of baguettes... 5:45 pm and they are out of baguettes???? Then I ordered sweet tea and they were both unsweetened.
