Pretty weird but also pretty good quote cheesesteak sandwich! The place was surprisingly empty at 6 pm

For our lunch meeting, we had Panera catered & delivered to our office. We ordered a variety of sandwiches, Caesar salad, Asian salad, fruit cups, cookies, and chips. The salads were really fresh (no wilted lettuce). I especially loved the Asian salad. I had the chicken salad sandwich and enjoyed every bite of it. For dessert, I had a fruit cup and a chocolate chip cookie. The food was great. Panera did a wonderful job putting together our order. The food was nicely packed and displayed. The delivery guy was punctual and courteous. Definitely recommend Panera for your catering needs!

We don't live in Durham but when we are at Duke/or the area, we LOVE stopping by here! I love their store manager, their attitude and helpful nature. That said, I love Panera- the breads are delicious, the bagels are fresh and the coffee is pretty darn awesome! We get the usual assortment of bagels- Asiago, everything, Cinnamon crunch and occasionally a kid will get chocolate chip. The cream cheese is reliably delicious and the fresh sliced and toasted bagel is signature for yum. The duets for $5.99 is an unbeatable price for soup, bread and a half grilled cheese. The chocolate croissant is unbeatable and that orange scone was a carb lovers paradise. I dislike when people look down upon supporting chains- chain stores are owned by locals, our very own local employees who know the area, who smile, help and just make it all so worth it. We will always stop by.

Solid Panera choice. The subscription coffee is my favorite part -- Panera has great coffee! Their app is easy to use and they are perfectly set up for COVID-era ordering. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Been here 3 times. Excellent food, bad staff. Seemed very confused and took a long time to take my order.

There's not a ton of seating, but we got a table quickly. The service was quick, and even though the place was small, it felt more cozy than cramped. I liked having the menu on the wall! They had two vegan options, and my partner & I both got the Biang Biang noodles. It was good, and perhaps even better the next day (the serving was big enough that I couldn't finish it). My sister got the Jjajiang Mian & absolutely loved it. This was a very positive experience, but not mindblowing--I think that the hype around the "M" restaurants perhaps raised my expectations a bit too much. It's also possible that their non-vegan options are stronger than their vegan options. Overall, though, very yummy, the prices are very reasonable for Durham ($16 for the Biang Biang noodles), and I would come back & try the veggie curry if given the chance.

However, it's not too far from Duke's campus. You can order by kiosk, and sit wherever you'd like and the food came out quickly. The soup noodles were really good! They were well-sized and very flavorful. I also ordered the noodles, which were a decent portion, but didn't really stand out to me as anything special.I think the best part of Nan Xiang was the drinks. I loved the mango pomelo sago. The sago was perfectly tender and the drink wasn't too sweet. Honestly, there were so many drink options, and it was so hard to pick just one. We sampled a nice cross-section of the menu, including Wonton Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, Pork Siu Mai, Wontons in Spicy Peanut Sauce, and of course the Nan Xiang Signature Pork Soup Dumplings (see photos). Every dish was flavorful and well prepared, with the soup dumplings easily stealing the show. We had just returned from New York City, where we enjoyed soup dumplings at one of the most famous spots around, so our expectations were high. Impressively, the dumplings here at Nan Xiang Express -- right in North Carolina -- were every bit as satisfying. Ordering was done at the front kiosks, and from that point on the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout, with plenty of smiling faces that made the experience even more enjoyable. We're very much looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu, and we're also excited to try the brand-new location that just opened in Raleigh. Highly recommended.

The ambience is beautiful and cozy, and the customer service was so warm and attentive. We sat upstairs in the izakaya during happy hour (Tuesday). The standout for me was the crispy tofu bao bun. The sauce in it was SO good, I honestly wish I had ordered more, especially since it was only $4. We also tried oysters for the first time (they were around $1.50-$1.99 during happy hour), and they were surprisingly delicious. We tried a few grilled skewers, shrimp, eggplant, and tofu, which were good, but not my absolute favorites of the night. The best was the egg sando. It might sound simple, but it was incredible, honestly tasted just like the ones I had in Japan, if not better. And the fries?? Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Of the many restaurants downtown, I especially appreciate Thai At Main Street's flexibility around serving large groups on relatively short notice. The inside isn't large, but even though all of the tables were full, the volume was very reasonable. At our table of eight, we had no trouble hearing one another and conversed as a group. Service was prompt (even though the place was packed), and the food came out within 15-20 minutes. I got the Drunken Noodles, which I've had here before & always enjoy.
