This location unfortunately often has issues. I tell myself I won't go back and I do and put myself through a new bad experience. This time I went before the 12:00 lunch rush hour. I waited for 30 minutes! One worker said to pickup the order by the counter. The woman behind the counter was overwhelmed and annoyed with everyone asking for their meals, that she snapped and said pick up orders on the other side. Just poor communication between staff. They continued to take orders but failed to tell new guest they were 30mins behind on orders. For people stopping in on their lunch break they should know so they can go somewhere else. Once I received my order which was teriyaki bowl. It was not even half full. Every thing was dumped in. It was horrible and looked like a left over dinner. I've been frequenting this location because my pup's vet is across the street....i usually pick up a coffee and the apple-cinnamon crunch muffin which is yummy. Simple, no nonsense....staff always friendly and quick, place clean and convenient. Coffee here is always hot and like other locations, offer a hazelnut flavor....counter freshly stocked with milk, half-n-half, sugar, syrup, etc...never an issue. And if I'm around for lunch, i'll opt for the Pick Two items...that way you get to try the different sandwiches, salads and soups without committing to a large portion but ALL the salads are yummy....can't vouch for the soups as my go-to soup is the tomato or southwestern. Should've read the reviews on this place before coming here, but that's what you get when you're hungry and in a hurry. Ordered a chipotle chicken breakfast wrap to with about five orders in front of me. Waited almost 20 minutes to get it. While I was waiting, one of the women ahead of me in line was talking to an employee about how others who ordered after her got their orders before her-- and when her order finally did come out, it was wrong. Ordered the Fuji Apple and chicken salad using the website and order was ready in 10 mins. Waited at the curbside pick up area in the parking lot and I was handed my salad by a lovely employee (wearing a mask to abide by the Covid rules). Ah, never having to leave the blasting AC in my car was ideal. And the salad was delicious!! Exactly what I wanted. Collected my order and found out that they gave me a cup of brocolli and cheese soup instead of the brocolli mac and cheese. So called them and they asked me to come back and get the right ordered item. So went back in, spoke to a lady "Anna" who looked at my online order receipt and said you didn't order a large brocollic mac and cheese. Made it sound as though I was wrong and she was doing me a favor by giving me a large brocolli mac and cheese. At no point did she acknowledge or say sorry that they gave me the wrong order and inconvenienced by making me drive 5 miles back and forth 2 times to collect the order. Not sure what kind of customer service this is where the restaurant messes up the order and makes you feel that you are in the wrong for asking them to correct the order. It's okay. Before, when I visited, it seemed to be a bit ghetto. They had a broken table and the bathroom wasn't very clean. But it looks much better now. You can bypass the line and order at these touch panels to the right. I got 1/2 tuna salad sandwich. It was fine. Bread was fresh, but a little too dense. Tuna salad tasted as expected. Tomato was okay, lettuce was fresh. Not too exciting. Side salad with vinaigrette was also as expected. Like that they have many different combos...each item has many custom options. For example, I added grilled onions and cucumbers to my sandwich. And it worked nicely. DH got a soba broth bowl with chicken. This item is no longer available. I couldn't find it on Panera's website. He says, "It's a nice change from a sandwich". He also had to endure my teasing. Who goes to Panera to order a soba noodle bowl? Lol. One star for unsatisfactory service. On 5-6-20 @ 1:45 pm I ordered a sandwich online and was supposed to pick it up curbside. When I got to the store I was turned away by Dublin Police because apparently there was some sort of a crime scene going on around the building. I tried waiting for sometime for the cops to finish what they were doing but I ran out of time and I had to leave for work but an employee sitting outside said that she would take my order number and get my card refunded. Apparently that didn't happen because three days later I get a charge on my card. On 5-9-20 @ 6:45 pm I called the store and spoke with the manager who claimed he knew nothing about the incident and would only refund me or make me another sandwich if I show up in person at their store. That's kind of tough for me since I live in Southern California. I was in town for business. Three things I take issue with: 1) They have no problem taking my card online but I have to show up at the store for a refund? That's kind of sleazy. 2) Obviously my sandwich sat in the store unclaimed during this whole incident. Wouldn't a manager with an inkling of common sense figure out what just happened and be proactive about it? How lazy can one be. 3) The conscientious employee who tried to resolve the issue probably brought this up with the manager and the manager just didn't give a sh*t and just blew it off. This isn't about the money. My Fortune 500 employer will not miss the $14 that was put on their card. It's the whole uncaring, unhelpful, and don't give a sh*t attitude that these people put forth. I come by here usually to catch up on some lingering work and enjoy some coffee or a smoothie. This is a nice location and the staff here are always courteous. Inking about it the smoothies are pretty good as well (huge fan of the mango!) Its fairly quiet - in a good way - meaning I can sit and work for a spell and always find a table but it isn't empty. I do love coming here when I am in town and offer my thanks to the staff there for making this a great way to work or read a book for a while. read more

After receiving my electronic table tag from the cashier I go to get my drink ( I chose Panera because they offer non soda options ) but come to find out they have taken all the healthy Drink options down an hour before close. Next year order arrives ( Max n Cheese and half Cuban sandwich) I go to ask for butter for the included side of bread and told they are out of butter What Resatuarant/bakery runs out butter ? I love Panera bread and have eaten in dozens of locations around the United States. However, the Amador Plaza restaurant in Dublin Ca is unquestionably the worse run Panera I have ever eaten at. A few weeks ago, I ordered a coffee with a breakfast sandwich. ALL of the large coffee urns were empty. I informed an employee, waited a few minutes thinking I'd soon have coffee for my breakfast. They did nothing about it and pretended like I never said anything. At this point there is now another customer and I standing around waiting for the coffee to be refilled. 5 minutes later said something to another employee.. now there is 3 customers (including me) waiting for someone to brew more coffee)... another 10 minutes and I finally asked for a refund. 20 minutes from the time I informed the employees there still wasn't coffee. Noting the store was practically empty... it wasnt like they were super busy filling orders. I figured I'd give them another chance at breakfast this morning. Again only a few tables with customers, only one register open and no lines. I came to the restaurant craving a cup of coffee and a spinach-artichoke souffle (so good!). Thankfully there was coffee.... but two of the four breakfast souffles (inclined spinach-artichoke) were sold out (at 8:45am on a weekend!!). It then took 20 minutes to make the dang breakfast sandwhich in a mostly empty restaurant. Seriously??? The manager in this restaurant needs to be replaced and the employees retrained! read more

I definitely have a love/hate relationship with this place. When I have to drop my pup off at Banfield for a quick check up or something where I have to wait, I usually pop over for a quick meal or coffee. Either it's very busy here or it's practically empty. Last time I was here, there was someone in front of the cashier which I presumed was ordering something so I just checked around my phone waiting. After a few minutes, the conversation continued and I realized that it wasn't a customer. Either another employee or the cashier's friend was there chatting while a small line grew behind me. Now, I know to order via Rapid pick up or Order from table, no point waiting here as the front of the house is more busy with friends than customers. (This definitely wasn't the first time, normally the conversation pauses or the friend steps to the side for a customer to order - just not this past time I was there). Typically I like ordering a caramel latte and soup for the colder days or an iced caramel latte with a flatbread for the warm weather. The corn chowder or turkey chili is my favorite. Portion sizes here are my favorite as it's all in decent amounts (no giant portions). I really like the caramel latte here as it's not too sweet but still covers my sweet tooth + caffeine addiction. My favorite is to chill in the plush chair in the corner on my phone or laptop while enjoying a quick meal/coffee while waiting for the puppers (sorry buddy! It's for his own good!). Final Thoughts: Prices always decent (well it's set) and the MyPanera rewards program is nice. Whether it be a meal or a snack, there's something for every size of meal needed. No complaints of the food yet but definitely eh about the customer service for this Panera location. read more

as a former employee of the dublin panera bread i will first hand say this was the most unsanitary disgusting food envirmoment imaginable and i'm not leaving this review just because its my old job i'm leaving it for well being of customers. during an audit i was told by my manager ryan to change all of the day dots to different dates than the past expired date which was two days prior to the audit i did as i was told and put fake prep dates on all of the food on the drive thru line, this happened on multiple occasions although not during audits it would especially happen with the bacon whatever you do don't get the bacon everytime i would look at the date dot on the bacon it would be expired by a day or two and when i asked management they told me once again to just throw another sticker on it and call it new highly unacceptable as this could cause food poisoning due to food sitting for too long only time myself would ever eat it is if i saw it come out the oven if not it was almost always bad. we were not allowed to use the restroom from 12-1 because it was lunch rush and if we did so we were scolded for it but that is unethical work practice. as an employee it was almost impossible to work with the managers due to them always being in bad moods or being hostile when at work the manager josue on a regular basis would go to the back and punch things throw things bang things and all around made it a hostile environment for everybody although ther was a manager named valerie, during my time valerie was always picked on by the rest of the managers such as josue edwin and ryan with everything that happened somehow ended up always being her fault when in my opinion she was one of the hardest workers i had ever worked with. whatever you do make sure you think twice next time you eat at this establishment. read more

I travel and have eaten at Panera all over the country. This is by far the worst. I placed a curb side order and was left waiting. When I went inside, multiple employees were playing on their cell phones. On another trip, I placed a pick up order that included a salad. They forgot the dressing. When I called to see if there was a delivery service, the employee acted as if it wasn't his problem. He was down right rude, as if I interrupted him on an order they messed up. Panera Bread is great because so many ways to order and the curbside or sidewalk delivery works well during the pandemic. It is quicker to go inside to pickup but if you have trouble getting out of a car, have young kids, or a pre-existing condition the delivery may be the way to go. read more

This place makes me sad. The quality of food and service have definitely gone down the drain. I used to come here all the time for lunch, because 1) they have a pretty wide variety of items to choose from (for those days where I'm starving, but just don't know what I want) and 2) their super convenient app that allows me to make the most of my 1 hour lunch. My most recent visit, yesterday, will most probably be my last visit ever. I ordered my food using their app. Just half a sandwich with a bag of chips. I received the confirmation e-mail with a pick up time of 12:35 PM. When I got there, I kid you not, there must have been AT LEAST 20 people standing and waiting around in the "Rapid Pick-Up" area. I have never seen it that busy. Customers who were seated for "for-here" orders were flagging down workers, asking for an ETA of their food, too. I understand that they get extremely busy during lunch, but omg. When an order was ready, the staff would walk around calling out the order, looking for who it belonged to. I don't see why they couldn't just put it on the "Rapid Pick-Up" shelf and move on? There was no real sense of urgency at all. I had to get back to work, so I went to the register at around 1:05 PM and asked if I could just get a refund (..which I'm still awaiting to hit my bank account). At that point, the employees were telling people who just walked in that there was a 40 minute wait. Today when I was out and about running errands around lunch time, I happened to be close to this Panera location and decided to pick up quick lunch. I understand that it's lunch time and bound to be a little busy but the staff here is not competent at all and ended up taking more than half an hour for a single order. Customer service is #1 always. I have just had another horrible experience with Dublins Panera customer service. DONE. I have witnessed and read this now so I need management to get it together seriously. I will not be back for at least a yr. I will get my food, coffee and favorite cookies else where or make them myself! With the cost of inflation you'd think you might at least get this part of their business correct. RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE, Not helpful. I feel their either completely unorganized, over worked or possibly a combination of this.
