I've had to stop going here--the salads are pretty disgraceful. I used to love stopping by for lunch and getting one of their salads to go. But in repeated attempts to give them the benefit of a doubt over the past few months, I keep finding almost all the greens in my salad have been brown around the edges, limp, wilted, or decomposing. $7.00 for a bowl of compost? Wow. It's a pity, because the staff are usually nice. But I can't recommend eating here--it's overpriced and poor quality. read more

I am obsessed with Panera, but I will not be coming back to this location ever again! I'd bought some soup with a bread bowl, and they forgot my bread bowl. Since they were already closed by the time I discovered my nonexistent bread bowl, I saved my soup and went back the following day to get its bread bowl. I always get Panera Bread when I'm looking for something quick and convenient to eat. I've never dined in at this Panera location, but I always use their rapid online ordering system. It's really simple to use and completely customizable. I always select a panini with the meat choice I like and customize it through the options listed. I usually change my bread choice, add pesto, add different veggies, and remove different veggies. Ultimately, it comes out a completely different sandwich, but they've never gotten the order wrong. My order is always ready for me to pick up within 10 minutes as well. I did try their tortellini pasta once and didn't like it, but I love their paninis. Their packaging is also very nice. Every time I get soup, it's packaged carefully so that it doesn't spill, and my roll is always tasty. There have been times when I'm not careful and have placed an online order at the wrong location or after they've closed. In the scenario where I placed the order at the wrong store, I called them and they were very understanding and refunded me my money. When I acidentally placed an order after they closed, one of the staff called me to inform me they were closed, refunded me my money, and recommended another Panera location that was still open nearby. read more

i always end up coming to this location when i am craving the tomato soup because it is phenomenal. however, today i came in and it was my first time going into the restroom to wash my hands; it seemed like they hadn't been cleaned all day! then, when i went to grab my drink, there was an employee cleaning the soda machines. as i was putting the lid on my drink, the employee basically dropped a piece of the machine into a bucket of water that was next to me. i told my boyfriend that the dirty water had splashed on me, and i know for a fact that she heard me say it, but she continued to drink her drink as she just stared at me read more

This is my go-to study spot...free refills on coffee that is always fresh, the staff is extremely nice and friendly. The food is great and comes out fast. I go there ALL the time and never have had an issue with the management or food. My only complaint is that when the lunch rush leaves...it can start to get a little chilly in there, BUT just get a big bowl of broccoli and cheese soup to warm you up! read more

I love Panera Bread. I love the way it looks, the way it smells, and I love LOVE the coffee. However, the service I have received at this one and the availability of items have been less than satisfactory. Almost every time we go for breakfast, they are out of specialty bagels. When we accept a substitute, they frequently come to our table and say they are out of that, too. The first time it happened, we overlooked it. The 4th time, really?? Today I went in for coffee and had a very rude employee stay on the phone an extra 3 minutes while I patiently waited. She then disappeared in the back for another couple of minutes. I was about to walk out when she came to the register and mumbled at me. She didn't ask if I was a rewards member (I am), just slammed down coffee cups and disappeared again. Not exactly the inviting atmosphere I was hoping for. So as much as I love the coffee, I probably will drive out of my way to find another location. read more

Stopped in for lunch during the noon-time rush, and I encountered an issue with my order. A very friendly cashier informed her manager of this issue, and it was resolved, although not in the best manner. Before I was finished eating, the GM, Mr. Villarreal, found me, apologized, and made the situation right. He's a great man, and he obviously strives to perfect the service given at his restaurant. very good food. I would recommend them to others. We have been going to the Panera chain for years, and the Denton Panera is a great example of the group. The only thing preventing a perfect 5 star review is the "sometimes" (twice in the past few months) lack of availability of some menu items. this is probably the worst Panera bread I've ever been to. it might be just a grade up from Dennys but not by much. it feels dirty and did gy. no music. atmosphere is just bad. It doesn't make me want to stay for very long. the food is ok but not for the prices. my onion soup and sprouted bread was good the first time. I ordered a salad my second time around and I was disappointed. I got the half salad but it was just a few strips of chicken, salad and some parmesan crouton things for $7!!!still hungry but don't want to spend more money here. don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. sad because I usually love panera. the only thing that redeems it is customer service is pretty good. read more

I was looking forward my usual Italian Club on cibata bread when I visited this Panera in Denton. I actually came as a treat to celebrate a recent success and left disappointed in the service and quality all around. The person who took my order seemed confused, and untrained. I ordered my usual sandwich, got my drink and looked for a table and while many were empty, few were clean. After I was seated and waiting for my meal, I was informed by a manager that the bread I ordered was unavailable. When I asked for sourdough bread instead, I was informed this option was also unavailable (which is disappointing since the name of the store literally means "bread"). I settled on a third choice for bread, and we continued to wait for a long time for our order to be filled. My mother's sandwich was on the incorrect bread as well, but we were just thankful to get the food and she ate her sandwich as it came. When we left, we went to get refills only to discover that not only was there no sweet tea left, but all of the tea options were empty. We left disappointed and will not be returning to this Panera any time soon. read more

My family and I stopped in for a quick dinner at 9pm. We made sure that the restaurant was still open and taking orders. After doing so, the staff made it very apparent that we weren't welcome. The cashier, Kayla, was very short with us and seemed annoyed that we were there an hour before closing. The young lady who was sweeping and cleaning up (very close to us) brought our food out. After nearly throwing the plates on our table, we kindly said thank you without receiving any eye contact or response at all. We all ordered the same thing- Chicken Tortellini Alfredo. The food was borderline cold, the chicken was in one clump on top of the pasta. As we were eating, I couldn't help but hear the employees talking loudly about how they hate customers who dine in so close to closing time. We made sure to leave the restaurant before closing at 9:45pm. Overall, the food and service was very displeasing and we have no desire to return. If I could choose zero stars, I would. read more
