Its a panera. It has bread. Fresh salads, nice sandwiches. Nice place for lunch. Not your average drive through cheap, but under $15 for a decent lunch eats. Average will set you back 8-15 depending on how elegant you go. I like this chain. Quite a bit. I know what to expect. And they consistently deliver. read more

It's a really nice cafe/bakery- style restaurant with healthy food options. It's very spacious and clean with a nice atmosphere and people here are nice. I ordered the "pick 2", and got the chicken noodle soup and the Turkey Bacon Sandwich. The soup came out steaming hot and you pick it up right were they cook it. It tasted like home-made, without all the unhealthy additives you get at big fast food chains. I'll definitely be back, also to check out their selection of pastries! read more

I love Panera's menu and all of the healthy, delicious items to choose from... BUT everytime I've been to this location it seems they're out of everything on the menu. No matter what time of day you visit you're told continuously they're out of stock of numerous items. I no longer bother to make the drive across town to the only location in my area since it isn't worth the disappointment. I absolutely love this place. I honestly thank the Panera God's we atleast have one! Very convenient it had a drive-thru which makes it fast and easy to order for those on the go. My daughter had the classic grilled cheese and green tea and swears it's the best. I had the broccoli cheddar cheese soup and chai tea latte and come on you can't go wrong with the broccoli cheddar soup. The servers were kind and helpful and patient while I ordered and didn't rush me. We'd would definitely go back when we don't feel like cooking and just feel like getting something quick to eat. read more

Panera is probably one of my favorite restaurants. I'll drive across town to eat here. However, I'm not sure what is going on with this particular location. Awhile back I went to bite into my sandwich and realized they had left the wrapper on the cheese. No big deal, I took it back, they fixed me another, and I went on with my life. Then a few weeks later, I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt sandwich via the drive thru. I didn't get too far before I checked my order and discovered not one single avocado on the sandwich with avocado in the title! I was Completely bummed as I love avocados, but I went on with my life. Then today, I order the same above mentioned sandwich.... this time I go to bite into it and it's ice cold, no longer considered a melt. I've been a customer of Panera the chain for a long time. I have been to many Paneras between the Atlanta metro area and Columbus. I've always been impressed by the consistency of all locations with the exception of one. Guess which? The Columbus location is by far the worst location of all. I often feel like purchasing from there is a gamble and I generally lose. For example, hot sandwiches (paninis and breakfast sandwiches) are often burnt on the corners. I now specially request my pickle because it's often missing. The hot chocolate is a misnomer. It's really hot milk with a splash of something brown (hopefully a chocolate based substance) for color. The consistency here is awful. I've also received orders that were entirely wrong. On a positive note, the drive-thru is handy. At least you don't have to waste the energy walking into the store to get your subpar food. PS. I do agree with the reviewer above that the changes to the menu and quality of food over the years has done Panera no favor. read more

I usually love going to this place. It was definitely one of my favorites. But this last time I went on my lunch break and when I drove all the way across town to get back to work, I realized my salad dressing cup was empty and my co worker didn't get her pickle with her sandwhich. It may seem petty to some people but when you look forward to the little things that make the difference and have to eat a dry salad it will make you think twice about having to spend so much on lunch when your order is not correct. Got a gift card from work .was looking for a healthy option I tried the Thai wonton chicken broth. It says it's under 300cal. That maybe but it also has a load of SALT. Giving a thumb's up to the Columbus location for having stepped up and really staying on top of the cleanliness and service. The fare matches any other location I've been to, and there's free Wi-Fi if you need a hotspot while passing through the Chattahoochee Valley. If I give this spot a ding on anything recently, it's that this location can't handle crowd control well when swamped. On a recent visit, an entire softball team decided to come in for lunch all at the same time. Maybe I can't really ding the restaurant for that entirely, but the line didn't budge so we turned around and left. Tough call. read more

I have been a big fan of the chain for years. I go because I have my "favorite dish" and no matter what its consistent, but not here. They recently changed their menu. Its extremely upsetting because you crave the restaurant because of certain things you order then they change it. Inside the wait was really long considering it wasn't that busy. When we were trying to find a seat there wasn't any clean tables and we had to clean one ourselves. Outside in the drive thru is convenient, however when I ordered there they didn't have 5 things that I ordered, they were "out of that." One of the items was a French baguette. So you mean to tell me Panera bread ran out of bread by 5 pm?? Additionally, the broccoli and cheddar soup was dark almost appeared burnt or old. Great chain, bad management. read more

Usually this is one of my favorite places to eat at. Today, it was the most disappointing visit I had. I ordered a pick 2 which included a roasted Turkey avocado BLT. First of all, the sandwich was rolled up like a ball. Secondly, it was tiny!! The ingredients didn't even fit inside. It was messy and honestly could have been eaten in 2 bites. I love Panera Bread and I hold it to a high standard since I haven't had consistent luck at every one of them, however, I ate at this one for three days consecutively and ordered different things every time and I was not disappointed... With the exception of the "Chicken Tortellini Alfredo pasta." The pasta didn't have enough chicken to even find it and the pasta it self tasted as if it had been frozen and thawed, not good at all; I think they either need to work on making their pasta menu better or just get rid of it. Other than that, all the sandwiches ( my favorite was the "Napa Almond chicken salad sandwich), the soups (my favorite was the broccoli cheddar soup) and the service was great. It sucks that there's only ONE Panera in town, wish I had one closer. read more

Food is decent, typical Panera style. Customer service is TERRIBLE. Walked in and wasn't greeted. Chastity took our order and was completely MUTE the entire time. No greeting, no "what can I get you", nothing. I had to initiate the talking, and she never said one single thing. When I asked nicely for my dressing to be on the side, she rolled her eyes at me. At the end of placing our order, I still had to ask what sides she entered into the register, and she muttered "bread". If the customer service doesn't improve, I'll not be returning. I can get salads and soups anywhere. Panera, take some pride in your name and hire people who are happy to be at work. read more

The food is really good. The place was not that clean but the food taste is what gives this place 5 stars. Really healthy and fresh food. I ordered the super kale salad and the mango smoothie delicious!!! Really tasty and you could taste the freshness in the food. The people that work there are really friendly and the best thing ever that I didn't even know it existed THEY HAVE DRIVE-THRU!!! it was just amazing for me to find that :). I give it two stars me and my child came here and we ordered hot choclate, it was bland. I ordered a chicken tortellini, it wasn't hot had very little chicken and was a bit undercooked. I have been to this location 3 times and every time it takes long and that's fine I can deal with that as long as food tastes good.I ordered the only thing I ever get which is the bagel pack I only ever get two flavors plain and Asiago.Today I go and I'm the only one in the drive through and ask if there are enough of my usual flavors I was told yes.After waiting long for my bagels that I don't even have them cut I get home and open box only to find cinnamon raisin bagels and plain.The screen has my order right the girl repeated my order right.I never though I would have to double check an order where it legit only needed to be picked up and put in a box.I wanted to take it back and just get my money back but I'm leaving to go out of town and don't have time.Make sure you check your order from here and don't make the same mistake as I did because clearly either work ethic is lacking here or just common sense. read more

My favorite healthy lunch place in town. Lots and lots of indoor and outdoor seating options, with power outlets. Yay! Perfect for a place to lunch or study for long hours or meet-up with friends. And. They actually have really good espresso drinks. Other than specialty coffee shops, like Starbucks and the local shops, they make great espresso. It's so annoying how gross most other places espresso drinks are. Not so, here! They are successfully made, here, and, I should know, I'm an espresso snob. read more

This panera bread was definitely lacking compared to others in the franchise I have visited previously. I ordered a turkey sandwich and turkey chili. The sandwich I ordered was pretty soggy and the chili was subpar for being exclusively advertised. I have had hormel chili that tasted better than this. I used the drive thru and when I got to the window I could see all the food and trash on the ground, I could see that the cutting boards were not clean, associates were on their phones instead of making food, and the girl at the window seemed truly unhappy. I've been to Panera's across the country and this location is by far the worst. The customer service is non-existent and the attitude of most of the employees (just about all of the female employees) is awful. Today I asked for a loaf of bread that was tagged as $3.79. The cashier couldn't find it on her screen, so she called the manager over. The manager then informed me that the "new" price is $4.09, they just haven't changed the sign yet. I asked for the $3.79 price, since that was the marked price, and she immediately went into a huff and gave me and the cashier the "whatever" look and stomped off. Unbelievable that a manager would show that kind of contempt for their own customers, especially since the pricing error was THEIRS not mine. I've had it with this place, never again. read more
