I will not be coming back! This was my first time to panera bread, I ordered two bagels and two coffees. It was over 10 bucks and I had to sores the cream cheese myself. Are you kidding me, I also tried to get Bacon on my bagel and it came ice cold with fat congealed all over it, over all in appetizing. How did these guys get so big. My 5 rating is only for Jacob at the Cerritos location! He is an excellent, efficient, goes the 2nd mile to ensure your eating experience is memorable. Jacob takes pride it what he does, big or small. When I arrive, I am so excited to be greeting with his friendly welcome, where he calls me by name. Went in today to get a cup of decaf & read a book. I'm informed that I must pay extra if I want my decaf in a mug rather than a cardboard cup. Ok, sounds strange but then I reaffirmed my order. " you do have decaf, right?" No, they don't have decaf! If I want some, the cashier said she'd have to go to make some in the back. Shouldn't have that been something to tell me when I first ordered? Before the discussion about the cardboard cup? I left. I've had problems with the service here the last few times, I think it may be time to go elsewhere. Me and my family used to go here years ago but service is really bad. This is the 2nd time I ordered bagel baker's dozen for pick up and they always messed up my orders. First, they forgot to include my cream cheese and had a hard time reaching out for the manager. I need to pick up my cream cheese the following day as I had no time to go back to the store that day (which by the way, I ended up not to pick up as I will be wasting time and gas). Second, and probably my last pick up order, I waited too long for them to process my order and ended up they ran out of my bagel choices and they cannot fulfill my orders (which is understandable) but at least notify the customer ahead of time. I already wasted my travel time, waiting time and gas for my pick up order without any notifications at all. That's the main point of me ordering online to be sure/ hoping that your order has been processed. And the manager was just a total jerk! read more

spent $30 dollars on 2 sandwiches and soup. The sandwiches were sloppily made and wrapped in paper like someone had already been eating off of them. Had them remade and they pretty much looked the same. Below average tuna sandwich. BLT was soggy and crushed. Not pleasing to the eye. Soup was ok. cookies were the best. This place is not bad and they have short lines so you can order and pay. The food quality is good and do not mind going back. However, prices are little hefty over there so it will be awhile before my return. read more

I love love love Panera which is why I've given them so many chances. This location is not my regular location but this is the second time I've visited in a month and had a bad experience. Overall this is my third or fourth bad experience with Panera so now I won't be visiting he chain anymore. I visited here about a month ago after placing an order online. When I arrived my order wasn't ready at the scheduled time. After a few minutes I went to check on it and it hadn't been made so I still had to wait for the order. I was told one of my items wasn't available. That's fine but I would prefer you called me to tell me that before I showed up because honestly that item was the only reason I placed the order. I asked for a refund of the item and the manager acted shocked. I thought it was standard if I don't want a replacement to get a refund since this was through no fault of mine. Got the rest of my order and got home and my order was wrong, got the wrong type of bread and also I ordered turkey and they gave me chicken I think. Whatever it was it wasn't turkey and it was disgusting. I did eat the soup I ordered but that was all. Fast forward to yesterday when I'm in the area and decide to give this place another try. Placed an order after waiting in line forever because there was one cashier and all the self service kiosks were being used by technically challenged customers. Sat down and waited for my order for about 10 minutes which I was timing because I parked in a 30 minute parking space. Then the waitress comes to tell me they are out of the soup I ordered. I declined a replacement and this time was offered a refund without having to ask. But again why wait until I have ordered and have been waiting to tell me you don't have what I want? Had I been told at the register it would have saved me from wasting time sitting there and it would have saved the manager time in having to do a refund. I'm not sure why this location runs out of stuff so much but I will not be visiting again to find out since it seems to be a pattern. read more

I suggest you go elsewhere. The quality & the customer service are declining fast. Yesterday, we ordered on line & they left out quite a bit of our food which we did not see until we got home to a hungry family. They left out an item we paid for & things that are part of the meal. When I called I was not offered an apology or given a refund. I was told I had to come in person but not given a reason. We had to beg for butter was there is none available. No respect for frequent customers at all. We won't be back as we are tired of this treatment. read more

We were just asked to leave because the manager didn't allow us to work on our school project. I find it unfair after we spend about $100 on their food and we were asked to leave when they allow people to hold meetings or study. We weren't disturbing anyone and we were there for a little bit over an hour. So if you plan on working on hw or on a project go to Starbucks better. I ordered their sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, but since it was still the morning, I asked if I could switch it to a bagel :) I was surprised by how busy this place was, but my bagel sandwich was hot and delicious! I sat outside on their patio since the inside was freezing and I wanted some warm sun rays on my skin :) I love their patio because they have bushes that block others' view from the street. I didn't feel weird eating my food in front of strangers as they drive by the restaurant. The only down side to this place is that it's a little expensive *womp womp* read more

Watch out for contamination in their food! My mother ate a bagel there and a pebble in the bagel broke the crown on her tooth. It's been a nightmare getting Parena's corporate customer service to return our calls. When Jerry, their corporate customer service manager, finally returned our call 11 days later, the first thing he did was to flatly deny any responsibility. This is before they even looked at the evidence we kept. Panera should take responsibility if they caused injury to customers. Sensing Jerry is rude and unfriendly, I asked him if a supervisor can call me to discuss this further. He snapped back that they will not call since they have important things to do. I would think calling an injured customer is an "important" thing to do. Jerry also said there are no pebbles or stones in their cinnamon bagels but there are sands and pebbles in their other bagels. Watch out! This case is still ongoing but please be careful with their food. read more

This place has become a grad school staple for me. It's a great place to study, although their "peak hour" policy limits wi-fi to an hour and a half... It would be awesome if they had more outlets to plug in laptops, etc., but if you wait around at a non-outlet table long enough, one of the outlet tables should free up in due time. I love Panera, but this location is just meh. The service is nice, but I feel like my my chicken chipotle is always made really fast and not as grilled as I would like it. I've been to other paneras and they seem to make better sandwiches. There's not a lot of parking during lunch time, so that could be annoying at times. But overall, it's ok. read more

I just wanted to take the time to acknowledge how awesome the staff was at this store (particularly yesterday 5/21). Yesterday I was having lunch with my son and while waiting for our food to arrive my son spilled his drink all over the table, floor and himself. My son gets easily anxious, overwhelmed and upset and I was thinking it was going to be one of those moments. I'm not sure if the gentleman at the table next to us (eating lunch) was a manager, owner or staff but he left his lunch, grabbed some towels and helped clean up and wipe everything down. He was very calm and sweet. He joked with my son which helped keep him calm and collected. He offered my son extra towels for himself and even a cookie (which we declined) for waiting patiently for the other staff to clean up the rest of the ice on the floor (mind you they were very quick so we didn't even need to wait at all). In addition he offered to have our food boxed up to go since we were still waiting for it to arrive but we opted to stay and eat there. Even though it was our fault for the mess, he didn't make him feel bad about the situation. I don't usually write yelp reviews but I felt like this needed to be acknowledged. Got their cinnamon roll - $2.59~. But it was a reward for myPanera card so I got it for free. Tasted pretty good, had a hint of lemon, but it was a bit dry. Customer service was great! She was super nice in helping me get my reward. read more

Love to go there to read and study - service is fast, food always fresh, they have the best brownies. The early closure of 8pm is the only negative thing and the parking there can be bad especially on Friday nights. At lunch time during the week, its super tight in there and so busy to the point of too much noise - you can hear everyone's conversations so it's not the best time of the day to study or read there at the lunch hour. read more

I really like their combo soup and half of sandwich. Though their food is great, i just can't give them the 5 star because everytime I come with my family there's never empty tables. Sometimes there's one person sitting on a big table with their books all over the table with their laptop and 1 drink. Some people just go in for the free wi-fi and don't bother buying food. Several times I have come in and see same people at the same table and keep refilling their 1 drink so they can use free wi-fi not fair for paying customers. I usually come here to get my bagel with cream cheese but this past weekend I stopped by to get a steak and egg sandwich for my husband before leaving for San Diego and what he got was so gross. The meat looked disgusting. He bit into it and water came out of the meat. He spit out the only bite he took and dumped it. It was very disappointing since I was such a fan. I used to go to Panera a lot, but the menu has become pretty boring, since they've barely changed it for years and they put time limits on the wifi use. Today I went to the Cerritos one, because it was waiting for someone and had some work to get done and it was close by. I turned around and walked out when I found they removed their wall outlets. Panera grew their business by offering free wifi, but once they get established, they don't want the students and others who work on their computers anymore. Visited this Panera's Bread yesterday had a good service and like the place a lot also ordered Panini, it was really good.

I love to study here because I can stay there for as long as I want and there's food. The food is over priced. It's probably over priced to accommodate people like me that stays there for hours on end. When I first discovered this place, I was in love because of the salad and all the sugary pastries that my thighs will not appreciate. I was compelled because on more than one occasion the food that I ordered had old tomatoes, that made me sick, and dirty plates that was clearly noticeable. I had a souffle that seemed like it was a day old rather than baked "fresh every day." Today, I was hungry and needed to study. I was staying away from the salads because I thought they were just screwing up on the salad, but I had a tuna sandwich and their lettuce was wilted to the point where I would throw it away if I made it myself. I've been to several Paneras before this but I've noticed it at this location more and as well as the Lakewood location. Darn, only if I had a better studying place to go to. Buh hum bug! read more
