So I use them a lot for meetings for work, and while the food is tasty, 50% of the time the order is incorrect. Something is missing, not put in bag, or the orders are made wrong. Even though there is a checklist on bag. I will ask for chicken and you don't have chicken on your salad by the time you pick it up. Or if it's delivery I've learned to go through my bag to make sure that everything is there. This location is one of the worst offenders. Remember, I order from here minimum 1 to 2 times a week for work functions, and because it's close to home and I want a tasty salad. However, this last experience in this North Billerica location was one of the worst! Worst part is is I can't even get a manager on the phone to refund me my money here is what occurred; 1. 90 min from placing order to having it show up 2. Tried to call location to get an update and no one answering phones for 2 hours. And still not picking up before I wrote this. 3. They forgot to add chicken to my salad 4. Cookie was loose in bottom of bag with salad on top of it. I'll add photo. Zero quality inspection and zero regard for customer experience. If I had reached a person by phone and they informed me they were short staffed, etc I would understand a delay. Nope. They're not even picking up the phone. Went to the Panera in Billerica. Would rather travel to Burlington than go back to this location. While giving my order of 6 items, the girl tried to repeat it back to me to make sure it was correct. However, she didn't know how to scroll up to see everything that was ordered. Ask a manager?? Waiting for the food 'to go', lots of commotion at the pick up counter among the workers. I completely understand that kitchens are busy and it's hard work. Workers were passing around a phone, looking at pictures, swearing, having a great time!! I ended up leaving my seat to stand at the counter to hopefully move them along. NOPE! Didn't work. My order stayed in front of the girl for awhile, I figured they were still waiting for something. They weren't. It was supposedly complete. Finally she calls my name. No "thank you", no "sorry for the wait".. Took my order and stepped to the side to double check it. Glad I did... Missing both soups that were ordered. Went back to counter and waited until worker finished her conversation with a friend. Told her about the forgotten items. Disaster. We tried to go through this drive-thru this morning and it was a complete waste of time. You would think an establishment that has the word 'bread' in it's name would not run out of said product at 10am on a Sunday, but here we are. All we wanted was two bagels with cream cheese. Pulled up to the speaker to order, nothing. After about four minutes someone comes on and takes our order, incorrectly. I get to the window to confirm the order, the girl nods her head and takes my card. She then opens the window and gives me a different price because she then realized she didn't ring it correctly. Four more minutes pass - "sorry we're out of that bagel", okay I'll take two other bagel, two minutes later "sorry we're out of that bagel too". This place makes the Bedford Brueggers look like a gormet bagel place. There is no chance it will survive at this rate and I'm done giving it a chance. read more

So here's my thing, right... when you're newly open, I almost get the struggle of getting things right. However, this is not a new business. Panera Bread has over 2,000 locations and has been open for 30 years. So while this location might be new, the model isn't. When opening new locations, people (managers) from older locations should be brought over to help facilitate the training of employees and overall opening of a location. I live down the street so I'm ashamed to say my fiancé and I have been here quite a few times, hoping they have finally got it together. I am sad to say that to this day they have not figured it out. To start, every single time we've come we've waited over 20 minutes for ONE sandwich. One time, we brought food home and realized they didn't pack our soup and the sandwich was wrong. I called the branch- no answer. I went back and was given the correct order with not so much as an "I'm sorry." from a manager or even having them acknowledge they made my order wrong. We've been given incorrect change back 3 times. The kicker was tonight when the cashier put $70 on the counter and told my fiancé "I hope this change is right." It was not. It was $8 off. My sandwich didn't have cheese after I told her three times I wanted cheese. Thankfully I checked my order before leaving the location and caught the mistake. I went to the kitchen counter and said "this was suppose to be turkey and cheese." The cook laughed and said "did I forget the cheese?" Yes. Yes you did. He did apologize, which I appreciated but again the kitchen manager (who I've seen multiple times) heard it and didn't even stop counting her inventory to say "sorry about that!" Overall, this location is poorly managed and not an example of what Panera Bread is suppose to be. I've been to many Panera's, specifically the Nashua and Burlington locations and have always had a pleasant experience both with customer service and yummy food. I went with my friends and this is the problems we have had today. My friend got the wrong order, the when she got the right order there was a hair in her food. Another one of my friends got charged for 2 sandwiches instead of 1, she also is lactose intolerant and asked for no cheese and they have her cheese. There was also hair in her salad, and they didn't ask if she wanted her cookie warmed. My food, i asked for a ceaser salad without chicken, and got chicken in it. We were really excited to try this Panera when it first opened. We ate in and ordered Mac and cheese and broccoli cheddar soup. The place was very clean and not too busy. The employees were friendly when we ordered. Got our food everything was fine, tasted good. But unfortunately as soon as we got home both our stomachs were bothering us and were unsettle for the rest of the night. We decided to give it another try and went through the drive thru. We ordered and when we got home we opened the bag and we were very disappointed with how small the portions were. The broccoli cheddar soup was watered down. The salad only filled half of the small container it came in. And again after my daughter ate the Mac and cheese and some of the soup her stomach got upset. This Panera is horribly run. I've yet to receive the correct order. Just went there to pick up a pastry ring, that was prepaid for, and they said they didn't have the order. Gave us our cash back. I walk by this store every morning on my way to work but have not stopped in because I catch the bus and do not usually give myself the extra time. Today I left my house 20 mins early so I could finally stop in and picked up a toasted bagel with cream cheese. There was only one other person in line before me, after he received his food I waited 12 mins with no one again in line for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. There were 4 people working behind the counter I kept asking them about my bagel they tried to give me two different orders that were not mine and finally I got the bagel to go on a tray and no one even apologized for my super long wait. I made it to the bus stop after running to catch it. Will not waste my time again. Not worth it Dunkin's is just as good for a bagel and a lot faster even on their bad days. read more

Very disappointed in my catering order and the response of staff to my incorrect order. It was a continental breakfast for 10. Did not give my box of coffee, was missing pastry and bagel choices were incorrect. When I asked staff about stirrers for the coffee, she stated I do not put them in because no one uses them. i will never go to the Billerica location again even though it is .5 miles from my house. instead i will drive to chelmsford or nashua. i ordered rapid pick up only to arrive and find out they had no more of the soup that i ordered 2 of. if it didn't already go on my card i would've had them cancel it. instead i will never go back!! i also asked for chips and got a fucking roll !!!! when i got breakfast one other time it was messed up too. i'm all set!
