How do you get a toasted sandwich with melted cheese yet the chicken, who knows if it's even chicken, is soggy lol, sandwich was mid and my girlfriends was disgusting, change your menu or sell your company.

We eat at this Panera bread location in Beecave fairly frequently. For the most part I typically give our experience five stars. But I can't say that today because I am not completely excited about the ranch Cobb salad that I got today. Although the autumn soup and mac & cheese was excellent, the ranch was kind of a meh. In my opinion. I'd give it a three out of five. Other than that, the restaurant is clean, the staff is very friendly, and overall it's a good dining experience.

The bug found in my soup.

I found a bug in my soup and will NEVER be going back. This is disgusting and unacceptable for any restaurant. Do not recommend this location.

I've kinda avoided Panera intentionally for years. I got a drink there a few years back during a business meeting. That changed this year as I work near this location. Food options are plentiful in the area as it's an outdoor shopping mall; at least there's options. A few months into my employment the company ordered a few dozen sandwiches for a Friday event; first impressions weren't that great. The Napa Almond Chicken Sandwich failed on so many levels. Seems that our order spent many hours in the walk in cooler. Bread was terrible as it was cold. Texas owned HEB's tarragon chicken salad blew the flavors of Panera's offering away. After that day I guess I was curios to see if everything was equally MEH. One of my friends used to swear by the Asian Chicken salad! Winter 2021 came around and I started focusing on soups. For those who don't know the area nearby contenders include a heavy hitter. Not exactly a soup but nearby Madam Mam's Panang Curry basically reigns supreme in my book. Turns out the soups are about the only thing Panera is decent at. Flavorful French Onion on one visit; best scoops being the autumn squash that's of course already been discontinued. Even the pseudo Thai Chicken was acceptable fare. Get the soup; avoid the rest.

Food is good for a chain, but the interior feels dilapidated, in disrepair and terribly inadequate for the Galleria. Ugh.

The short is the sourdough bread was just okay. I find almost all sourdough bread in TX seems to be undercooked and I'm not sure why. And all the sourdough I have experienced in TX has a different flavor than traditional sourdough bread. It also seems quite heavier than a traditional sourdough. I did ask for it be sliced but the slices were incredibly thick. Easily twice the width of a normal slice of bread. Given the heaviness of this bread and seemingly undercooked that thickness is not ideal. I have certainly had thick sourdough slices before, but those were traditional, cooked and lighter. Maybe the person could have changed the thickness but it wasn't offered. Lastly, when checking out... I was charged 3% for using a credit card. I was informed beforehand and it is displayed... but this doesn't make it okay. As a business owner myself, I know I can deduct bank charges for using a credit card. So, you are charging me 3% and you are taking a deduction from taxes. But to top it off... after charging me 3% more... the server wanted me to provide a tip! Oh, sorry... she just said "the screen is going to ask you a question". What question? Why don't you just come right out and say "I want a tip"? But tip for what? And it's $11 for a loaf of bread.

Customer Service was excellent. Had a sandwich for lunch - fresh made with homemade sourdough…read morebread, best I've had. Definitely will go back next time in Marble Falls. All the bakery goods were mouth watering. All AND no artificial dyes.

***SMOOTHIE ONLY REVIEW***…read more I'll be honest, Yelp: I most sincerely had reservations about The Soup Peddler. Reason: The menu reads sort of average and practical. Why buy stuff I could make at home? When I spend money, I'm paying for a hit of culture and flavor. This economy is crazy. You've gotta choose wisely. I can save money and do average at home. HOWEVER, I was on a mission for a real pineapple and kale smoothie, and Austin has been inconsistent with this. Juice-Land makes mistakes with substitutions (they don't have it on the menu) and Smoothie King is an "all over the place" expensive hot mess caught up in a boycott, so here I found myself. I ordered the Tropicalia (24 oz): mango, banana, pineapple juice, lemon, kale, spirulina. Solid lineup. But I don't like juice substitutions when you can have real fruit, so my *ONE ASK* was to please add real pineapple on top of everything. Add actual pineapple, not just juice. They said yes!!! No extra charge. And that's where everything changed. This tasted CRAFTED. This tasted INTENTIONAL. Winner. WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER. This is easily the BEST smoothie I've had in Austin. That I've had ever. Ok, Erewhon in LA has been the best. But this was fresh, bright, and clean. Sweet without tipping into sugar overload. The pineapple flavor popped and was balanced by the earthiness of the kale and spirulina so it felt refined and it didn't feel like a juice bomb. Perfecto. Service was straightforward. Pleasant and efficient, not over the top. It works. But the point is I came in skeptical and I left planning my next visit. I want to try everything. If this smoothie delivered then I have high hopes for the rest of the menu. Forgive my doubts.

They have a small selection of soups but if you want a smoothie this is your place. The sandwiches are overpriced, tasteless and are a basic grilled cheese for $7. The setup seems to be similar to other soup peddlers with seating: metallic tabletops that always seem to be clean, dedicated recycling and composting bins, a high countertop divider, with an ordering kiosk near the front, and some coolers and fridges, as well as a heating rack to keep pickup orders warm. Kitchen and smoothie room in the back. The staff running this place are quite nice. The choice of artwork adorning the walls appears to be different from other Soup Peddlers. What's good about Soup Peddler? Despite their name, I prefer their smoothies over their soups. Their soups are prepared offsite and delivered in the morning to all Soup Peddler locations. Thus, no location is aware or can predict what will be on their menu for soup specials each day through the week. However, other than their daily specials, they usually have a set soup menu. Their soups are served in a paper cup, and you can get crackers and oyster crackers with them. They also offer grilled cheese sandwiches. Those sandwiches are, well, pretty small and simple. I've had their Apple-Muenster Grilled Cheese, no complaints. Don't expect to be filled up on that though. Again, smoothies are where it's at. They offer monthly smoothie specials, discounted daily smoothie specials, and staff favorite creations. Of course, you can always create and customize your own. I tend to get their matcha, turmeric, or banana and nut based smoothies. Any sweetness is obtained from their fruits used, but sometimes date syrup is used as an ingredient. Anyways, smoothies are yum, and that's why I keep coming back.
