Absolutely terrible. I was the only car in the drive thru and still waited forever. The employee at the window had zero customer service skills. I was finally handed a bag and then she just shut the window. I didn't know if there was more so I ended up holding up the line to see if it was all there because she didn't tell me that was all of it. The food itself was school cafeteria grade food. My kid got a flatbread pizza and it was just awful. The sandwiches were extremely disappointing. I felt completely ripped off. I would recommend going somewhere other than here. read more

Very new Panera Bread Cafe. Food was very good for the first part. WiFi was good as well. The service was a little slower but that's okay because it was a little crowded-and to make up for it, they were passing out free bagels. Right off the interstate as well so convenient if you're traveling by not so much if you're an Albany resident. Either way I would recommend this especially if you've never been before. read more

Very nice location, and super clean. Offers curbside pickup, ASAP pickup and more. Salads are amazing and on the larger size. Tea is absolutely refreshing and delicious! Was given multiple pieces of bread, soft inside and perfect brown outside. Free of charge! However, my boyfriend did find a small hair in our bread, he didn't mind at all, but I did give him the rest of it. Everyone was very kind, and although on the door it says to wear a mask, there were multiple people inside the building not following that sign. read more

I love Panera as a restaurant, but I've had many issues with this specific restaurant. In the past I've ordered grain bowls and have had the portions be smaller than normal, I've bought salads and have paid to get extra chicken and have come home to a salad with no chicken (I could've checked before I left, but I also think their employees should too). I waited an hour from placing my order for curbside pickup (due to the quantity of the order [7 meals], online said it would take longer to prepare) and it took them 35 minutes after the time it should've been ready (I had to call) to get it out to me... I thought that's why they needed an additional hour before that to prep the order. More often than not I'm left disappointed and I'm not impressed with their attention to detail or speed. I hope it's something they improve on. :/ read more

Drive thru girl sounded nice over the speaker but once we got up to the window she slammed the window multiple times when I tried to pay and when she said have a good one. Their toasted baguette sandwich mozzarella was like so thin. It was like eating a big toasted piece of bread. There is more red pepper than cheese and four slices "thin" Tomatoes. Let me get right to it, the lone employee who was working (alone??? Possibly completely alone???) the afternoon of Saturday June 5th deserves a medal, a raise, and six weeks off. We were on our way to the coast and stopped for a sandwich. The dining room was closed, no big deal, we ordered curbside and waited. People started to trickle in, it took awhile, and eventually when I called to check on our food it sounded like this lone employee was at the end of their rope (though they were perfectly professional, which honestly must have taken Herculean effort). They were clearly completely swamped with orders to go, confused customers in person, with zero support. It's miserable out there in the workforce right now. Kind of mad that I asked about the sugar content in the green smoothie and was just told "no added sugar". Well... I'm finally writing this review that has been months in the making. I am never not disappointed in some way when I go to this location. Even to the point where I was given a free pick two coupon for a messed up order and they still didn't do it right when I cashed it in. I ordered bowl sized soups and got cup sized. Asked for butter and got none. I didn't even say anything this time because I don't need another free coupon just to be disappointed again (and because this mistake was small in comparison to what I've dealt with and said nothing about in the past). I am attaching a picture of the sandwich my boyfriend ordered on a different occasion and what he got when it arrived (it was delivered so we couldn't bring up the issue). Looks absolutely nothing like the advertisement, honestly looks repulsive. And that same time I requested extra pickles on my sandwich and got 0 pickles. Another time we ordered bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches on bagels instead of brioche. The first time, the sandwiches came on the wrong bread with only egg on it. Literally only egg. No bacon, no sauce that we asked for, and on the wrong bread. So we went in and waited forever to have it fixed. When we got back in the car, we checked just in case and were shocked to find that it was on a bagel, but once again had nothing but egg... How is that even possible?! Every single time I go something is missing or wrong. I am not one to complain, I work in food service so I know mistakes happen sometimes. I am usually very very patient and understanding, which is why this has happened countless times without me saying anything. But this place seriously cannot get it right. I ordered this afternoon for my family. I ordered around 1:30 pm. a late lunch. By 2:30 nothing so I called and manager said she would remake and send out . Unbeknownst to me 10 min later she calls back and i was outside waiting and still waiting. 3:10 I went to get my phone and then realized she had called back . They said now that my order was picked where before she didn't see anything. No not sending it out again but would refund my money. I ordered off website free delivery yet didn't realize it was really DoorDash . Smh not doing that again waited with a cranky 2 year old wanting lunch . Never got lunch or by then an early dinner. I like that they email me occasionally and surprise me with coupons or free items. This week was free bagels all week. I love that they make their own bagels and they are always so fresh. I also had a coupon for $1 off a drink. So I was able to get both bagel and a drink and use both coupons. I like that about Panera, they allow you to use more than one coupon per visit. A lot of other restaurants don't allow that. One of my favorite things to get at Panera is there Baja Mac and Cheese, it's shell pasta in a blend of rich cheeses including their tangy Vermont white cheddar cheese sauce, topped with salsa verde, tomatoes, avocado, and cilantro. Mine didn't come with cilantro, but I didn't mind. It's still amazing twist to Mac and cheese with a kick. Another one of my favorites is their Madagascar Vanilla Cream Cold Brew. It's their dark roast cold brew coffee with Madagascar vanilla syrup and half and half, served over ice. I love that this location delivers as well. If my daughters are driving me crazy and I need to treat myself I know that Panera can be there for me. =0) read more

Where to start? We just returned home and don't know if we'll be back. A run-down of problems: We ordered 2 bread-bowls. What came to our table? One bread-bowl and one bowl of soup. Next, the bowl of soup was taken back and over 5 min. later when the person who received food the first time was over half done the correct food arrived. Then the first plate delivered had the portion of the bread removed to make it a bowl on the plate for dipping. The second bowl had nothing, when we asked why one person received bread for dipping and one didn't we were told "well someone probably threw it away" as he laughed and walked away! Now that we both finally have food we both noted the bowl is half empty. There's almost a cup of soup, not a bowl. Lastly, someone needs to wash the tables, we had to wipe down table and chairs in order to sit down. Once again, overall impression wasn't good, would rate this Panera location a one star. read more

This is a good location as far as Panera goes. To be honest I'm not really much of a soup and sandwich kind of person. I like the occasional salad though and I do appreciate Panera's approach to food. This a very bad place to get anything. The employees walked around and cleaned while I had ordered and had a number on my table . People before and way after me had their food and were done. I finally had to check on my food and they couldn't find it. They said they skipped over it .who does that!!! There. Was a very disgusting bathroom and a cleaning towel on the open ducting. I had to talk to manager as noone cared that I had to make them make my food. REALLY very unexpectable. I have to say i have never in my life been stuck in drive thru for over an hour. With a 3 year old screaming he has to pee. Their were 3 people in line and the line didn't move. After 40 minutes , I decided to call, I told the woman who answered that I am kind of stuck here in drive thru and have been for 40 minutes. She hung up on me. I finally made it to the window. And the guy took my debit card. While I waited another 15-20 minutes. I finally went into the store. Leaving my card with the guy who just left me sitting there again. Once I was done having my grandson use the bathroom. I asked for the manager. I don't fault her. She told me they were incredibly understaffed and have been for several months. She states legally they weren't even supposed to be open but corporate made them open anyway. At that point every customer in the store stood up with their complaints of sitting there for over 90 minutes. It wasn't even busy. So I went to the Panera website. No where does it have an email or complaint area. Just a question and answer page. That doesn't cover being kidnapped in drivethru for an extended time period. All of the employees were absolutely miserable and it shows. I'll never give this corporation that obviously can't keep employees and obviously could not care less about their employees or their customers. I told the manager a sign on the door and the sign at the entrance of drive thru that says, short staffed, please be patient. Would be really nice. The manager said " Yes it would be, I've been begging corporate to do something, at least let us put up a sign." She said corporate refuses to allow them to. I had a gift card and was shopping nearby so I stopped here to pickup dinner on my way home. Spent over half an hour in the drive thru. Placed a $40 order and when they read it back to me they said that they would prefer I pay in cash. WHAT!? I told them all I had was my debit and they said "ok we can try it." Got to the window and they said I couldn't use my gift card. They had a power outage earlier in the day and all their "systems got knocked offline." Payment with my debit didn't seem to be a problem. Couldn't get a receipt because of the "system" issues. Got home and the food was literally thrown in the bag. Paid $10 for a large Mac and Cheese and the bowl is barely half full. It's actually just over a cup of pasta; yes, I got out my measuring cups. $10 is outrageous. I sent an email; we'll see if I ever hear back. Skip this place. For $40 you can get much better service and food in town. read more

I eat at Panera all the time but since we are from out of town, this is my first visit to this location. I usually use the drive thru because back in IL it tends to be crazy if you go inside. My only disappointment was I had to place my order myself on the computer. Staff was friendly and I received my order quickly and it was right. I wish the prices would come down a bit if you want us to do our own ordering. I was very happy with the avocado on my Mac & cheese and salad. Soft and fresh. Not usually that lucky! read more
