Reasonably priced for quality of ingredients. Anything fried is going to be much crispier in store than delivery but they're quick and I've been pleasantly surprised by their service. While their food is good, the service was the worst I have ever experienced in all my years of dining out, and I will never go back. It was not crowded, there were 2 servers, yet ours could not bring us a third fork and napkin despite our request - I ended up using my friend's spoon. Basically never came back after serving the food, and yes, they were waiting on others. We couldn't even get them to bring us the check - had to go up to the bar in the back room to pay. The first I can recommend, a Nice balance of savory and sweet, the veggies and chicken were cooked perfectly. And second entree, the BBQ Thai Chicken was a big disappointment. It is supposed to be Chicken thighs marinaded in a special sauce and bbq'ed. But what I experienced was maybe a chicken breast brined in salt, grilled And chopped. Let me start with I was really excited for Thai food on this trip. However, I couldn't be more disappointed. We walked into Thai Home Kitchen at 6pm, with mid expectations. The seating arrangement is very sparse - 10 booths and 6 tables. All but one booth was taken and the single empty booth needed bussing. Not a huge deal, so when the busser approached us for seating, we asked if we could wait for the booth. A group entered behind us and all was well. We sat at the booth and as a group of three, were talking. As time passed I noticed that the group that came in after us was ordering ahead of us. Not a huge deal. Wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. About 10 minutes later, roughly 40 minutes after our arrival, we had our order taken. Our group continued talking and then about another 40 minutes later, I noticed that the group that came in right after is not only had their food, but were almost finished and a table that had been empty for quite Some time after we arrived had their food delivered. Now it's time to say something. I went up to the kitchen and asked them if our food was coming soon. They said our food is coming right now . I returned to our booth, angry that we've now been here for more than an hour with no food! Then, the food was FINALLY delivered, with the exception of my daughter's Pad Thai. My niece politely reminded her of the missing dish, and the woman (I am guessing the owner) literally told her to calm down! WHAT. THE. LITERAL. HELL? 10 minutes later her pad Thai arrived. When it was delivered, my daughter ordered Mango and Sticky rice. That actually came within a normal amount of time. The food, when it came, was good, for sure. Your choice on if you want to come here. Came at lunch on a relatively easy day(Sunday), sat for 15 minutes before waiter came over and asked what we wanted. Looked at the other tables with no food looking around for the waiter, who was busy flirting with the girl behind the counter. He gave out a few waters and while those tables(including us) stared at him and waited for him to come around, he decided to redecorate the chalk board. Great tasting food! A little on the pricey side for Thai for for what I'm used to, but the portions seemed appropriate. We came on a Friday night around 7:30. It was busy but they were able to get us seated right away. All of the wait staff was very friendly and attentive for how busy it was, though I did have to ask for a drink menu for their Bangkok Bar. Would be nice to have that menu already waiting of the table. The interior is spacious, clean, well lit, and well decorated. The food took a bit to get to us, but not too long and again it was busy. My Khao Soi Gai was flavorful and creamy, but not too rich to be overwhelming. The chicken easily came off the bone with a for and spoon. We ordered drinks and appetizers and dinner. Drink order: 2 Cosmos, 2 beers, 1 Thai tea, 1 hot herbal tea. Appetizer: double order of the appetizer platter (chicken satay, wontons, spring rolls, potstickers) and one order of tom kah soup. What arrived 25 minutes later: 2 cosmos and one order of chicken satay. When I asked about the rest of our drink orders and appetizers, the waiter said they were coming, then disappeared and never came back to our table. Dinner order was 2 orders of Thai basil with chicken, 1 pineapple fried rice, 2 Pad Thai noodle, and 1 salmon green curry. We waited for another 45 minutes for our dinner. I finally went up to the person working the register and asked how much longer our dinner order would be. He said that he didn't have a dinner order for our table. Fine. I paid for the 2 cosmos and satay, and asked the other cocktails be removed from our bill. The print out showed 5 cocktails, the appetizers we ordered but didn't receive and the dinner order they apparently didn't have. I mean, how bold! I refuse to pay anything other than the 2 cocktails and the 1 appetizer order and put the cash on the counter and we walked out. No tip, obviously. We went to Sky High and were treated like family. The service was very slow, rude, inattentive, and deceptive (for example, saying "your food is coming out now" or "I'm going back to get your food now" when that was clearly not the case). 4 of us eating at an earlier time (5:30 pm). The first person's food came out quite a bit later and then each person's meal also came out separately about 10 minutes apart. The last person's meal came 80 minutes after we were seated. Despite notifying our waitperson that that person had to leave, no speed up of service. Multiple times promises were made about the food about to come out, or "I'll be right back (with a service request)" but there was NO follow up. So disappointing.
