Orange Chicken Fries
Mai P.

I came to try out this place because I saw that the store has changed owners and changed into something completely different. I was so excited to try this place out, especially with how great the marketing was about their promotions and menu items. I have been here quite a couple of times already previously to this, so here are picture references to what I've bought: Mongolian BBQ and Orange Chicken Fries! I always do the build your own per lb. with the #4 Dragon sauce because I think it's the most flavorful. Every other sauce is good as well, but I just preferred #4! This place is very self-explanatory--you get a bowl and you just stuff it with all the things you want. And if you need another bowl for noodles separately you can do so and they would still cook it altogether for you. The buffet area goes by $7.99/lb, same concept as the previous, but pre-cooked and all you need to do is weigh at the end and pay. The owners and the staff are all so generally nice! The middle aged man and woman that's usually upfront is always so so kind and happy to see new and previous customers which makes the mood so much more pleasant and not as unwelcoming. There's lots of seating areas with warm lighting to sit so you have plenty of space to chill. It's always so clean when I come in and that's something I think says a lot about this place. 100% recommend you to try out this place and if it's not your thing, at least you said you tried it! Food is absolutely delicious and the price per lb doesn't hurt anyone either!

What a hole in the wall gem of a place! You pick out your items in a bowl and take it to the grill where you can pick your sauces! I like the garlic ponzu sauce the best. Teriyaki one was a bit sweet. The fire dragon sauce is like black pepper. Try all and see which one u like! After it's cooked, you take it to the register and you'll weigh it and pay. As of the date of writing this, it's $7.99 a pound. You can also get Chinese food by the pound, they have like honey walnut shrimp, char siu, fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, etc. The place is very clean and well maintained! Customer service is also A+! Also... GET THE ORANGE CHICKEN FRIES. IT IS SO GOOD!!!!

I love the atmosphere here. We have our go-to table. We have our go-to orders and every single time they have really nice staff that always care and try to make it a good experience. The food is amazing. They have a hot section and they also have the raw section. Highly recommend going to the hot section and getting some coconut shrimp and some wings. For the actual food itself, get a ton of meat because it's light and just keep going with a lot of protein and then you can fill up on the other stuff as extra. Remember it's $7.99 per pound so you can get a lot of food at a cost-effective price and it's delicious. I highly recommend only one sauce. You should also give the orange chicken fries a try. It is delicious and always comes out very hot!! Come check this place out!!!

At $7.99 per pound, fresh of the wok entrees, you can have some real fun DIYing a plate! Lots of self service but staff is attentive to make sure you get taken care of! They're under new management and they actually had a 20% promo when i went too! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well! Food quality is actually my favorite part. Plenty of tasty options like honey shrimp, orange chicken, bbq pork!

Went back a few days ago with some friends. We used to go here once a month years ago. Glad to say we'll be doing that again now! We had no issues with the service so that's great. Food was delicious, even my pickiest eater friend loved it. The Chinese food buffet area was hot and fresh. Overall it looks like they're off to a great start!

(Friday 3pm) I absolutely loved it! Service was beyond amazing! Explained to us the options and the steps since it was our first time there. Ambiance was very open friendly and casual. Definitely can see myself with a group of friends here. Portion size definitely depends on how much YOU want to eat. They have two plate sizes; small and large (Mongolian) Each pound (1lbs) is $7.99. They have Chinese food or Mongolian, can do both if you choose. I will say this place needs more decor and a bit more of ventilation but besides these minor details I highly recommend!!! Cleanliness 9/10 Service 10/10 Location 8/10 Ambiance 8/10 Portions 10/10 Overall 9/10 I will definitely be going back! *everyone has different experiences, remember to be kind.*

Delicious food! Very clean restaurant! The owner was very sweet. The honey walnut shrimp and Mongolian plate are very affordable.

I really want to leave a great review for this place. There aren't many restaurants around here that serve Mongolian stir-fried noodles, so this is one of the few options nearby. When I arrived, I noticed their price is only $7.99 per pound, and they weigh the food after it's cooked. Everyone knows ingredients lose a lot of water during cooking, so honestly the restaurant probably isn't making much money that way. The staff was also very kind. They recommended their self-serve section, which is also $7.99 per pound, and even encouraged me to try different items. I packed a small box with some fried shrimp to go. When I went to pay, the owner noticed I had an IV in my arm. She was incredibly thoughtful and told me the shrimp was free, and she also gave me 20% off my Mongolian noodles. With all the food I had, the total only came to $12.50. I honestly felt like they were being way too generous. The food tastes great, and the kindness they showed really meant a lot to me. I truly recommend this place and will definitely come back often!

5 stars! As soon as we walked in, the lady at the front was super helpful and showed us exactly how everything worked. Great service, and the food tastes awesome. Best part, it's only $7.99/lb. Definitely coming back!

The staff was friendly and provided exceptional customer service. There was a variety of food options to choose from for the Mongolian BBQ and delicious options for the Chinese Buffet. The dining room area was clean and had comfortable seating. A great place for all - especially families. The location is central on Chapman Avenue. I recommend Panda Mongolian BBQ!

A little bit of everything.

I Ike how friendly the workers are and this is probably the cleanest self serve Chinese food I've ever seen. I love how you can pick whatever you want and the amount! Excited to try the orange chicken fries!!

Staff was extremely helpful and were quick. Quality of food was great and fresh The Mongolian dish was very tasty. The spicy garlic sauce has heat and is worth it. The jalepeno chicken wings had great taste with a bit of heat. The jalepeno chicken was also great with a bit of heat. Would recommend it.

The service was fast and they were constantly checking on my friend and i if we were ready. Food came out in about 10 minutes~, even though we were talking a lot the food was still really hot. We got the scallion oil noodles (I forgot what they're called), gyudon bowl, and 2 servings of dumplings! My friend and I were stuffed and we eat a lottttt. We also had their drinks which weren't bad for $6.50. He had the strawberry matcha and I had the jasmine tea with crystal boba! For take out, the food was packed neatly & the set of condiments and utensils they provide is really good. It felt a little more "higher end" of a take out place. My friends and I ordered about the same things we did inside the restaurant, cucumber salad, and the wonton with chili oil. Our favorite was the chili oil wontons & we regret not ordering more. They don't have many table to seat large parties (3+) they mostly have bar seating and the booth seating is pretty tightly packed so just a heads up that if you have a larger party you might need to wait longer. Luckily I got sat in their few middle tables that were spacious. I was able to order quickly and the workers are nice and gave me recommendations. Passion fruit green tea and this was definitely my favorite thing I ordered that day the drink was so light, refreshing, flavorful, but not too sweet the passion fruit seeds being in the drink was annoying though. (4/5) Spicy XLB they came out quick but I wished they were hotter they were just warm but delicious flavor and filling sadly was not spicy though no kick no heat at all. (3/5) Beef rolls nice and crispy lots of scallions and the cucumbers added a nice fresh aspect and crunch but needed more sauce. (3/5) Pan fried dumplings took the longest to come out were crispy but not that flavorful again very filling though. (2/5) Golden prime beef noodle soup I'm sorry but this was just not for my taste at all I can't even describe what flavor the soup was something I have never had before very unique. The noodles were nice and chewy but again I'm expecting soup to be hot but it just came out warm. (1/5) They had some sauce and chili oil on the table and I made a mix but it did not help add flavor to any of the items. I ordered too much and the leftover beef rolls and pan fried dumplings reheated well in the air fryer.

We came with reservations on Saturday night before Mother's Day. The first thing I thought when I walked in was that there was a live band playing with bad speakers because the music was so loud. But when I saw there was no band, I thought maybe their speakers were broken because the music had that scratchiness to it. Then I realized it was a DJ spinning vinyls with foreign music from the 1950's with that scratchy vintage sound on full blast (think shrill trumpets and shrill voices.) Now don't get me wrong, the music was wonderful and very unique ( again, a lot of foreign songs) with a few I even knew...my husband and I loved most of the songs that were played. HOWEVER not when it's so loud that we can't even hear our own thoughts! I felt annoyed within the first 5 minutes of being seated when my family and I had to keep repeating ourselves, and my husband even went to check the rest of the place to see if it was any quieter anywhere else, but it was blaring music everywhere. I ended up ordering for my whole table of 8 people because we couldn't even hear each other over the music to make suggestions on what to order. My adult kids (all in their 20's) kept apologizing for recommending this place for my mother's day dinner. But oh my, the food was delicious---practically everything I ordered was amazing! OMG the hangar steak skewers, pork belly skewers, iberico pork secreto steak, little gem salad, and their bread with goatmilk -butter were my faves! We also had the short ribs and the pork fried rice with prawns but they were mid...nothing to write home about. This would've been a great place to come have a drink at the bar for happy hour or even late at night on a weekend since they open until 1am on thursday, friday, saturday... but don't come for dinner unless you bring earplugs and learn sign language or know how to read lips because there will be no conversations over dinner unless it's just to the person sitting next to you. Even so, I noticed the young couple next to us looking very annoyed-- they got up and left after quickly finishing up their one cocktail while the speakers blared out an instrumental piece of a girl moaning the whole time until she climaxed. Heck---I'll have whatever SHE'S having lol So plz keep the music down several notches until after 10pm, and let the rest of us enjoy our dinner so that we can sing praises on how delicious everything was. Until you do, I think I'll cross this place off my list for now and revisit again sometime in the FAR future.

The finger foods was Asian‑inspired, with flavors like black sesame, curry, and other creative twists that made each bite feel unique. Every piece was thoughtfully made, rich, and decadent without feeling repetitive, and the presentation was beautiful across the board. It definitely felt like a more elevated, modern take on afternoon tea. The tea itself, however, fell a bit short for me. I ordered a non‑caffeinated chrysanthemum tea, which unfortunately didn't have much depth or flavor. My friend's Darjeeling was better, but still not as rich or complex as I've had elsewhere. Given how strong the Asian inspiration is in the food, it would've been nice to see more thoughtful decaf tea options in that same direction, like decaf sencha, barley tea, or kuromamecha, to better match the concept. Price: The afternoon tea service is prix fixe at around $45 per person, which includes a curated set of savory bites, desserts, and a pot of tea. For the quality and creativity of the food, the price feels pretty reasonable compared to other OC tea services, though the tea itself didn't quite meet the same level as the food. Ambiance: The space is bright, warm, and inviting, with a nice amount of natural sunlight coming in that makes it feel cozy rather than stuffy. There are subtle Asian design elements woven into the décor, giving it a modern, slightly upscale feel without being overly formal. It's a great spot to catch up with friends and linger over tea. Service: Service was good, friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Even during a busy service, staff remained kind and approachable, which added to the overall relaxed vibe. Parking: Parking can take a bit of effort. Since it's located on a busy street in Orange, you may need to circle around the roundabout or park a little farther away and walk over. Not impossible, but definitely something to plan for, especially on weekends.

The broth is rich, flavorful, and clearly simmered with care--not overly salty or greasy like some places. The meats are tender, portions are generous, and the noodles always have the perfect texture. If you're a first-time visitor, I highly recommend trying one of their signature pho bowls. Their garlic noodles are another standout. Perfectly seasoned with a buttery garlic flavor and a slight savory kick, they pair incredibly well with the grilled meats. The shaken beef and grilled pork are both excellent options if you're looking for something beyond traditional pho. One thing that really sets Sup Noodle apart is the variety of appetizers and sides. The crispy egg rolls are packed with flavor, and the wings are surprisingly good--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated with just the right amount of sauce. Don't skip the house sauces either; they elevate every dish. The restaurant itself is modern, clean, and welcoming. Even during busy lunch and dinner hours, the staff does a great job keeping things moving and maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Service has always been attentive without feeling rushed. A few tips for first-time visitors: * Expect a wait during peak lunch and dinner times, especially on weekends. * The garlic noodles are absolutely worth adding to your order. * If you're dining with a group, order several appetizers to share. * Parking can get busy, but turnover is usually quick. Overall, Sup Noodle Bar delivers excellent food, generous portions, and consistently great service. Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of pho, flavorful garlic noodles, or simply looking for a reliable restaurant in Irvine, this place is well worth the visit. I'll definitely be coming back.

Tuna Roll simple, fresh and clean, this 6 piece roll was not too filling but acted as a nice add on to our appetizer. Spicy Beef Udon served in a boiling hot pot, this udon is spicy, hot and sizzling. the standard level of spice is free but to make it spicier there is an additional fee. the flavors of this udon were delicious and i liked the greens that came in it. there wasn't much beef inside and due to the sizzling pot my noodles got really soft faster than i could eat them. it also comes with a cheesy rice ball on the side that you're supposed to mix into your soup once you've finished the noodles. i personally didn't love it. i felt like it didn't really match the flavor of the soup and the outer crust of the ball was way too hard and crunchy for my liking, but my boyfriend thought it tasted good together so to each their own. Cold Spicy Egg and Tororo Tsukemen if you're a fan of the cold, dip ramen (tsukemen), then this dish is for you! the cold noodles are served perfectly chewy and al dente and it pairs well with the egg and tororo dip. the boy added a side of meat for an additional charge because it isn't served with any on its own!
