Panda Lin has been my family's 1st and only choice for Chinese food since they opened a few years ago. Every few weeks we treat ourselves to a meal outside of home and the majority of the time, we choose Panda Lin. They have many choices on the menu and always have your meal ready in 10-15 minutes. The food is amazing and completely sets itself apart from the other Chinese restaurants in town. I also have to mention how incredible the Lin family is!! You can't go wrong with a family-owned establishment. The owner and his family are so nice. The food is fresh and oh-so-delicious. I love the sweet and sour shrimp, seafood combos and General Tso. The fried rice is spectacular - full of veggies and chicken. I can't wait to try more of their menu. If you're looking for a quick snack, the egg rolls won't disappoint. The staff is so friendly. I'd put them right in the topb ranks of the $-$$ Chinese take out options in Cedar Rapids right now. They don't go super heavy with the heat on the spicy dishes, so if you are wanting that I might suggest ordering extra spicy when you order. read more

A friend of mine told me about this new restaurant. He said they have the best Chinese in town. We ordered it the other night. My son got orange chicken and I asked him if he liked it and he said "mom that was so nasty". I got what I always get the chicken chow mein and I also thought it was nasty. The chicken (if it was chicken) did not look like a piece of chicken the looked like like pegs that were about an inch long. I have never seen chicken that looked like that. There were no carrots in it either. However, I thought the veggie egg roll was very good. But not good enough for me to ever go back there. Service was exceptional too read more

Great family owned restaurant! Their son takes your order while Mom and Dad cook it fresh before your eyes. Quality food with fresh ingredients. Not shy on their portions either. They serve at least 50:50 entree and rice, unlike most places that give you 6 chicken nuggets covered in a corn syrup based sauce. read more

Ordered delivery tonight, we got sweet and sour chicken, fried vegetable rice, and crab Rangoon. It was all incredibly delicious. I asked for xtra sweet and sour sauce and they gave us plenty! Tried Panda Lin for the first time a week and a half ago and have already ordered delivery 3x. Love this place! Fast delivery and food always comes piping hot. Great prices, can't beat a $1.50 delivery charge. Ordering online is super convenient. I always have at least another days worth of leftovers. I hope Panda Lin is around for a long time. Panda Lin is our new favorite Chinese restaurant in Cedar Rapids, the family that runs it is very generous and friendly. The food is always great, our favorite entree is the garlic shrimp with fried rice, or if you want something more carnivorous, the Mongolian beef or beef lo mein are great. For appetizers we like the fried dumplings and crab Rangoon. I would recommend this place to a friend looking to satiate their craving for Asian cuisine any day. Their portions are generous, (the lo Mein often overflowing from the quart) often including free desserts with larger orders, from fresh baked cookies to freshly fried donuts. This food was so good I just had to write a review right away! It was delivered by the sweetest woman and child, so pleasant and happy. First of all, I was shocked at how much food there was!! For delivery there is a minimum of $15 (very reasonable) for a $1.50 delivery charge. That's not hard to do, plus who doesn't love left over chinese!! I could smell this food, couldn't wait to dig into it. It was delivered hot!! The shrimp egg roll had real pieces of shrimp the cabbage/slaw mix was wonderfully crunchy and perfectly seasoned. I ordered moo goo chicken, roast pork with Chinese vegetables and beef lomein. All of the food was perfectly seasoned, all the meat was nice quality meat cooked to perfection as we're the veggies even their white rice is good....I could go on and on. I have lots of leftovers (happily). Don't miss this place!!! It's an odd location but it would be a huge loss if they don't make it there!! Can't wait to try new items next order!!! read more
