    Le Shmashburger Mac & Cheese
    Gregory G.

First time here and I'll be back again soon. Enjoyed our dinner start to finish. The staff was fast and friendly. The decor is not easily described but it is randomly fun with exposed brick, barrel booths, doors on the ceiling, etc. The lighting however stood out among this, creating a warm atmosphere. As far as the meals were concerned, my friend enjoyed his salmon curry rice bowl so much so that he would come back soon and have it again. He had a mixed drink during their happy hour specials. I ordered the smash burger, the two patties had American cheese on them and sat on a warm, fresh brioche bun. The bun was in a demi glaze sauce (I ate it with a fork) and it had a terrifically tangy tartar sauce. Whoever does the sauces in this place deserves a medal - the glaze and tartar are wipe your plate with a roll to get every last drop, good. I had Mac and cheese as a side, white cheddar, it had a nice flavor and the noodles were cooked properly. The cheese was a little more liquid than gooey but that's a personal preference. I had a fountain root beer so nothing special there. Given the ambiance of the place I expected a craft or bottled root beer but that's neither here nor there. I'll be back and will try the chicken Alfredo next time.

Was recommended by the salon next door modern valley hair co, that I Must try the buffalo wings, got a lovely sit at the bar and order just that and let me say they are one of the best buffalo wings I've ever had, they are not your traditional Buffalo wings, 1lb bone-in wings honey buffalo sauce, togarashi, tajin, cucumber. So much flavor in every bite and loved it was kind of like a dry rub my sticky. The services was fantastic and I hope they keep the Christmas lights up on the bar.

The best food I've had in or around Cedar Rapids. We had the shmash burger and the coconut shrimp ramen - delicious! The atmosphere is SO cute and fun - even in the bathroom. I also had a pretty good Hefe on tap.

Overall, a good experience. Very cool and relaxed vibe with a great decor and layout. Bar area was nice and the service was good as well. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced.

Ambiance was inviting, staff was not. To give them the benefit, it was busy. Recommend getting reservations.

This small bar has great ambiance. Really unique aesthetic and unique dishes. We loved the privacy of the booths shaped with old barrels.

There are lots of cool automotive touches, vintage signs, and garage-style charm that give it a laid-back, quirky personality. It is the kind of place where you notice something new every time you look around. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server. We ordered waters and a couple of pops. It is a Pepsi establishment, so I went with a Diet Mountain Dew. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with extra crispy tots and a side of honey mustard. The sandwich was just the right size for lunch, and the tots were hot, crispy, and plentiful. The honey mustard was way better than expected--sweet, tangy, and perfect for dipping. My friend was excited to see an Impossible Burger on the menu. As a vegetarian, it is rare for her to have a solid lunch option. Daisy's even had vegan fare available, which was a nice surprise. I did not remember to photograph my lunch, but I have absolutely no regrets about eating it. If you are in the Cedar Rapids area, give Daisy's a try. Great atmosphere, great service, and some seriously great tots.

American We had just…read morerolled in to Marion to be closer to a destination in Cedar Rapids and were looking for a quick place to grab a bite and something to wash it down. A quick Yelp search came up with Daisy's right down the street, so we headed over. Daisy's is a cool little sports bar sitting in Marion in what appears to be a brand-new plaza. When you enter the place, it does indeed, look like a garage. Large bar to the right, tables (inside and out) to the left and straight back. Grabbed a high top and the waitress was super friendly and was over to say hi as soon as we sat. Menu is decent sized and offers primarily sports-bar centric type offerings: sandwiches, burgers, wings, some salads and apps - a fat kids dream. Beers were icy cold and fresh and went well with our nachos and burgers. Food portions were good sized and everything was fresh and well made. Overall a fine experience and I would definitely hit it again if in the area. There were plenty of tv's around for catching whatever sports were on as well in the event you are looking for a place to watch a game, Prices were average. Parking lot in front

First impressions were a bit confusing--the entrance makes you feel like you're walking into an office building. There's a door to the right with signage for what seems to be a sister bar that's only open on limited nights, but the actual restaurant is straight back. Once inside, the space is large and open, with plenty of room between tables and a sizable bar area. I sat at the bar and learned about their Whiskey Wednesday specials, which included several types of Old Fashioneds and whiskey flights. While it sounded intriguing, I opted not to partake. They also offer daily drink special themes. The menu is eclectic, with a mix of Cajun, Italian, and American fare. I went with the Cacio e Pepe with Elephant Ear (Orcchiette) pasta, and added shrimp along with a half wedge salad as a premium side. The pasta itself was delicious--perfectly cooked with a rich, peppery flavor. However, I wish the server had mentioned that the shrimp was Cajun-seasoned. While great on its own, it slightly overpowered the pasta. The wedge salad was a bit of a letdown--the lettuce was watery, which diluted the overall flavor. The dish also came with garlic bread, which was yummy. Service was outstanding--attentive, friendly, and efficient. Unfortunately, it was hard to get a real read on the restaurant's vibe because it was pretty empty on a Wednesday night.
