Never has this ever happened in any other establishment. We also had 2 birthday parties there that both went great! The party hosts are proper hosts, super helpful and attentive. If you are a parent of young kids you know how crucial having that help is. All the staff knows my son by sight and are always welcoming and really tolerant and patient with my AuDHD son who constantly runs into every place he isn't supposed to. We feel like family here. I haven't gone on a hectic day (intentionally) so I can't speak to the rule enforcement on those days, but I can say that I have seen the strictness vary depending on the vibe, age, and amount of kids there. I appreciate this because it's annoying to have to parent other people's older kids around safety if they are being too rowdy around the little ones. They're all still just kids, though! The only improvement they could make is adding a slide or 2, but maybe that is in the future! Who knows! The most important thing to me is the intention and advocacy I have seen in management. Keep it up!

This bowling alley is adjacent to the sand volleyball courts, which are fun to watch or participate in as well. The Cedar Rapids Sports/Social Club hosts a lot of summer and winter events (including bowling). At this bowling alley, I usually get a pitcher of Big Grove's Arms Race craft beer to drink with friends as we bowl. The atmosphere is classically sophisticated with an air of the 80s. We didn't quite get through 18 holes, but could have if we pushed it a little. The suites are big with a large counter in the back, large high top counter/table to sit at, own fridge, and own bathroom. We brought food and drink which really cut down on the expenses for the evening. In total it was about $27 per person to golf. I'd recommend watching the video they provide before you go because the cell service in the suites is not very good. We happened to see an employee and he helped us set everything up. Each two suites is separated by a garage door, so bigger groups can have more people golf and more space. Easily could have had 15-20 people (all not golfing) comfortably and still play quite a few holes. I've never been to a golf simulator, so I have nothing to compare this to. However, we all agreed we'd definitely do it again and it was worth the money! The suites are very nice and clean. Just make sure you pick up and leave it as you found it!
