Some of the best onion rings I've ever had. Had the Blue cheese burger. Wife had the Rueben sandwich. Everything was great!

Just stopped in for a quick drink and an appetizer before an appointment we had and got the cheese nuggets and it came with fries. The fries were AMAZING!! But the ranch rivals Starlite for the best ranch in CR!!! MINDBLOWING!!!! . Our bartender was great and very attentive and the atmosphere would be awesome if there was a game going on or something however we went on a weird time on a Friday. (2 or so) so there wasn't anyone there other than one more couple. Can't wait to actually have some entrees......but when I come back, there will be fries and ranch in my future!!! I went to the Fieldhouse to watch the Iowa game with my boyfriend. We got their way early and music was playing on their Touchtunes jukebox, so I thought I would play a couple of upbeat songs. I purchased the songs from their Touchtunes and a woman behind the bar lifted up her remote and turned off both of my songs that I paid to have play. Very very rude!! I've never been anywhere with a jukebox that someone would change the songs purchased. Then I saw someone else line up some songs and the lady skipped over their songs too! What a rude person and sadly I think she's the owner too. My advice: Don't have a jukebox that links for your customers to play on it, if you don't want for your customers to use it. Very disappointing experience! I thought I liked this bar, but not anymore. Don't recommend!! read more

It's undeniably the best place in Cedar Rapids to watch a sports game. The manger Mo knows sports, and how to run the TV's. her customer engagement skills are unparalleled by most people her industry. I debated between 3 and 4 stars here because the food isn't stellar. However the service is great and if you are there for an Iowa game it's crazy! I went for a few of the women's NCAA tournament games and even though it was packed with no seats, they have enough staff that you are rarely without a drink in front of you or on the way. Prices are fair as well. It's a little dark and tight for my liking to go there all the time, but it's a good place to watch a game. I wouldn't recommend the pizza (tastes like a premade crust), but the sandwiches and wraps are pretty good. Bathrooms and restaurant are clean. They have a men's bathroom, women's bathroom, and gender neutral bathroom which I thought made everyone feel welcome... and lessens the line for women. read more

The food was average and the service was actually good as far as service. However, the bartender who was running all the tables and the bar was extremely rude. She would walk away mid sentence, rolled her eyes on a number of occasions and appeared to be annoyed by any questions. She was very efficient and worked very hard but her attitude was the worst I have ever seen in customer service. We will not return, as we have never felt so unwelcome in an establishment before. read more

Seems like a popular locals hangout. I ordered a pizza based on servers recommendation. Got a 9 inch chilli chicken pizza. Tasted like a cardboard cheapo pizza you might pay four dollars for in a grocery store. Instead, this pizza is 15 dollars. Little chicken and no chillis. Ok, so I get it, this is not a pizza joint. Beer was cold and good. Service was very good. I might stop here for a beer, but skip the pizza. read more

My new favorite local place to go for a great burger or pizza. Their hand breaded tenderloins are awesome too! Love the crinkle fries, amazing with bacon melted cheese and queso. Tried this place on the advice of a neighbor for their broasted chicken. It's only served as a 4 piece 2 side meal and only on the weekends. We found the pieces extremely small and the taste unimpressive. Can't speak for their other items but won't return for the chicken. Hardee's chicken is far far better. read more

Good service, friendly people always with a smile! My favorite is the Caesar salad with grilled tuna, the tuna is grilled to perfection. My husband loves the green chili burger. Good beer selection. House made onion rings were outstanding! Always a good time. read more

Use to be my favorite place for a great burger. Since the move to the new location I can't say I will return. My bacon Bleu burger was burnt and tasted like fish. They must not clean the grill. The waitress only asked once how our food was and that was when I took my first bite. The french fries were good but it seemed the amount had decreased from previous visits. I like the old location on Blairs Ferry Road much better because there were more booths and more room, at their new location it's much smaller. Since it is much smaller there's more crowd noise and our dining experience was not pleasurable to say the least with some obnoxious guests. The obscenities let's just say we're starting to really upset my wife. Then we had another couple that wanted to watch the TV above us on a certain Channel and one of the waitresses had to lean over top of me with the remote for 5 minutes because she said she has to be that close to get the TV to turn the channel. Not knowing what channel she needed it took even longer. Yeah so the experience was not the best. The mushroom burger my wife had was at least not burnt but it had maybe two mushrooms on it, you couldn't even tell it was a mushroom burger. read more

I used to go to the original on Blairs Ferry and followed them to the current location. Things were good at first but have fallen of recently. Service is good if you get Peggy otherwise it's hit or miss. I like their burgers but the other items are inconsistent and while the specials look good they often run out before I get there after 12;30. read more

Food is always good at the field house. Dave has a great staff, too. Good atmosphere for UFC fights.

Grilled tenderloin was less than impressive. The flavor was not bad, but the loin was less than 1/4" thick. I was hoping to get full off of the meal but left hungry. read more
