I'm borderline 2-3 stars for this rating. Other than my comment I would give 5 stars. I don't like writing negative reviews, but I know it helps companies see where they need to work on. I've gone in last week and didn't have the best service compared to what I normally receive. This is my favorite Panda location too, but a worker there has made the experience not enjoyable. My coworker went and did a panda run for us and had the same experience today too. The worker had attitude both times at the register and was not polite when accommodations were asked. Very unfriendly. I thought it was just a bad day for her when I went alone, since I know what it's like in customer service but got upset that my coworker had the same experience a week later. Please just be aware that you are the face of a company and customer service shows your work ethic! read more

But let me say that after camping in joshua tree for the weekend and wanting a warm meal on the way home, it was really fricking sweet to be greeted by Louie. Our service here was terrible. Was trying to sit down and have lunch inside and the dinnimg room is closed. Got told to go through drive through which is fine but the male drive through attendant was very rude. Kept interrupting us when we were trying to say our order. Felt very rushed to get us out. Once we got the food, the orange chicken was very undercooked. Got my son a kids meal and there was 2 pieces of orange chicken and a half order of the noddles. I have been to plenty of panda's and this was by far the worst service I have had. read more

Panda Express quality continues to decline. Used the drive-thru at 10:55 am and was expecting fresh food. The fried rice was cold, hard and dry. Little doubt it was leftover from the night before and reheated. Honey Sesame Chicken was good. Orange Chicken was only OK. Why they cotinue to refuse to have Sweet Fire Chicken on the menu, even though it is very popular, is a mystery. They won't say why at the resturant.Teriyaki Chicken seemed undercooked and blubbery. I wanted to pay cash, but they only take exact change, even though the other popular fast food restaurants in town all give change. No napkins in the bag. Overall, I think frozen Chinese food from the grocery store is now just as good as Panda Express. I used to really like Panda Express, but I may not go back for a long time. read more

I have been to this location many times in the last 6 months and the service has been consistently mediocre. The food is good and the service is fast, BUT the issue is they are trying to run the process way too fast and always missing something. For example- I'd ask for some sauce or chopsticks while ordering at the drive-through and those never make it to what I actually get in the bag. I'd always have to go back inside to get everything or just live with it (I mean without it). Also, the staff is always in a rush to run away from the window as soon as they give out the food or swipe your card, so if you want to ask for something ..phuff..they are gone and the automatic sliding window is closed, and then there is this awkward wait for them to notice that you haven't left and need something (while making all the cars behind you wait). Also after 6:00 PM, they are always out of many entrees or sauces. I really feel like this location can be a big hit and blow all the other fast-food chains in that area away if they can fix these small things. read more

I love Panda Express in Yucca Valley. Kind staff, never experienced rude service and the building is kept clean, even the bathrooms. The food is delicious. I love their Thai tea with boba, milk tea with boba, passion fruit green tea with lichee jelly and their passion fruit tea. read more

I've been to this Panda location many times with no issues but last night I had a big issue. Went through the drive thru at 8:13pm only to be told that they had no rice available. No white rice, no brown rice and no fried rice. Basically they wouldn't have anymore rice for the night even though they didn't close until 9:30pm. How can Panda Express of all places go without rice? The girl taking the order seemed to think it was funny. We had to put the car in reverse and attempt to back out of the line. The employee did say they could offer chow mein but that it would be a 6 to 10 minute wait. Was this because the employees were too lazy to make more, or was it that they just didn't want to deal with it that late into the evening? Time to take my money back to the local restaurants. If I could leave 0 stars I really would I have come to this Panda Express a lot, and every single time I come, I regret it. There's alwaysss something wrong. Almost every single time I've come, someone forgets part of our meal, or they're just super rude. An overall unpleasant experience unfortunately. I went through the drive through and felt rushed by staff the entire time I was there. When I returned home I realized they forgot half of my order. I wasn't able to drive back to fix the situation considering I live 30 minutes away and they would be closing by the time I arrived. I called a few times trying to rectify the situation, but no one picked up the phone. Their receipt printer was broken as well, so I can't go back at any point later on to fix the situation as I have no paper proof. Just wishing I could get a refund for the missing portion of my order but I guess that won't be happening. read more

I placed an order online so I could just walk in and pick it up. I came in and the line was very long. I stood by the online pickup cashier station for awhile (not that long at all, like less than 10 minutes) and a very friendly employee told me it would just be a minute or two and they'd bring my order out. Less than a minute another employee ( manager I think) brought my order to me with a cup for the soda fountain. I told him I didn't order a soda and he said "no problem, just help yourself to whatever you'd like." I'm guessing because I had to wait for what I felt was a super short time, especially with how busy the restaurant was. In all honesty, that kindness made my day. This is probably the saddest Panda Express trio we've ever made. We were trying to find a good place to eat around the area to feed our asian cuisine craving but it was only Panda that's open. Went it to order a plate with chow mein, orange chicken and Kung pao chicken. The serving was so small compared to the other Panda Express' location. For being in the middle of nowhere (according to the city slicker in me, sorry) this panda was surprising. They have a tea bar, which I've never seen at any location I've been to in LA, SF, OC. Pretty huge sizes too! They also have a drive through which I'm a huge fan of. The staff here are very friendly and the dining area is pretty large and clean. The food is as good as any panda. Not great but not bad. Good enough, haha. If I lived around the area, I definitely would come back. read more

I ordered the plate with chowmain, fried rice and spring rolls. I was given half burnt noodles and half dry noodles,the rice was dry and had no flavor Mike with clumps of white rice which was not ordered ,I can tell it had been sitting on the warmer for a while very little vegetable on both rice and chowmain the spring rolls were okay I was served a small portion on the take out plate as if they did not have enough for the serving it was horrible service they rush you out I understand quick service but this was a rush out, go away I did not get a good by, thank you, come back, or enjoy, nothing like that ! they were to worried to serve the next guest. This location is beautiful. I was impressed right when I walked in! It have to be a brand new Panda Express because the ones down in Riverside aren't this nice. The layout was really nice, there was a lot of space its very big in there, and the style and decorations were very new and trendy. I was greeted with a smile right when I walked in the door. Also it was very busy in there the service was on point. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Thank you young ladies that served me were very friendly and polite. The only bad thing I could say about this place is that the other workers other than the two that helped me hardly spoke any English and I were talking very loud in the back in Spanish. Other than that it was a great experience especially for a fast food restaurant. The food was very fresh, full of flavor, and cooked perfect. As someone else wrote, this is a really fancy fast food restaurant for this town! This location is fairly new, and unlike most, has a tea bar. Was quite surprised that it also was running a special on milk tea, and the price was discounted. Had never seen that in a Panda. In addition, their fried rice was different than that found at other locations, and was quite delicious. The rice seemed to be a fluffier, more brown rice type. A nice surprise! Service was pretty good - table area much nicer than other locations. Definitely will return!!! read more

This particular panda express is very inconsistent with serving sizes. Especially when many of the items are extra money, which is fine except they make the serving size smaller which you are paying more for!
