Really poor service. Came in with the fam and they ran out of chow mein. I had no issue waiting for a fresh batch, however, when the fresh batch came out they disregard our order that was sitting and decided to fill the drive-thru orders first and other customers that came in way after us. I finally had to go to the counter because they were almost about to give our order to the wrong customers. Horrible! I'm not trying say this place should be 5 . I waited as I watched 1 person serving the dining room and 3 people serving drive through. I stood and watched as another customer waited to pay for at least 4-5 minutes. After replenishing the empty woks of food I stood there, now about 10 minutes, and watched them fill 4 orders for drive through still with 1 person to serve the walk in customers. This review only addresses the web order and how they screw up the order every time! The food is pretty good (not great) but it's a good value. However, every single order we have made, they forget items that we paid for. From reading the other reviews, this seems to be a systemic problem that should be easy to fix (check list, second person reviews the order, etc.). We usually discover the mistake after we get home, very frustrating. Lesson learned - unpack and check the order completely before you leave the store. read more

For the third time in two weeks, we went to Panda Express "late at night." Because we live in an area where most of the town rolls up at 9 pm, we were excited that Panda would be open later. Little did we know, however, that being open late, just meant that the last of the food would be served. The first time we went late, we were told that they were "out of" one or two of the menu items we ordered, so we made do with what they had. But this has become a pattern - the second time, we ordered Beijing Beef (none left), and Cream Cheese Rangoons. There were also no rangoons left, so we ordered a couple of egg rolls instead. None left. No spring rolls. No chow mein. No shrimp. Seriously?? Tonight when we went (we left at 10:30, live just 5 minutes away, and they're open until 11), my daughter wanted Beijing Beef with fried rice, and my husband wanted Orange Chicken with chow mein. I wanted Beijing Beef as well. NO Beijing Beef, NO Orange Chicken. I asked what they DID have, and they said they had rice, chow mein, Kobari Beef, a "little bit of" Broccoli Beef, and a couple other items. LESS THAN HALF of the menu was available. I went through drive through on 8/30 at 4:30 pm and didn't check the food until I got home and saw what I was served. I got my daughter a kids "meal" and she literally got TWO pieces of chicken. I know kids meals are not full size meals but c'mon, TWO WHOLE PIECES? Absolute rip off. I'll make sure to tell everyone I know not to come to this shit hole. Ordered family meal online and went to drive thru to pickup. I was told the order wasnt ready so I needed to come inside. I had my toddler with me so I asked if someone can bring it to me. The employee, lady with with glasses said no. I then asked if I can change the items so that I can pick ones that are ready. Again, I was told no. I asked if I can cancel the order and she told me I would have to call the store to do that. Mind you, Im at the store. What is the point of drive thru such as if customer doesnt want to walk into the store in order to grab food if you cant give me the food at the window or bring it to my car?! I go to Panda Express all the time due to my work hours. I went in a few days ago and got my usual plus the wontons. I asked for the sauce that goes with and they said ok. I get home and it's not in the bag. I go in tonight and mention it and expect a gesture of an order on the house. The old Asian guy Brian behind the counter offered me the sweet and sower sauce. I asked why? So I can go back in time and use it? They clearly are not that bright and why they are there. I was blown away by that offer and the clear missing of my entire point of brining it up. I will never ever go to this location again even though it is very convenient. Food is Okay, tastes good/fresh, but I've begun to give up on Panda Express.. ..especially this location, and the Murrieta location. Over the recent past, the portions at Panda Express have "systematically" diminished, to the point that it is no longer a good food/cost value. I used to get full on a 2-entry plate (and have left-overs). Now find my self unsatisfied after eating, every time, And, I don't exactly have a huge appetite. So, with prices higher, the "To go" box substantially smaller now a days, and the portions even that much smaller, is just not fair anymore. And, I don't have the appetite that most men have, so I can only imagine how some "regular" guys might feel after eating! And if you order the 3-entry plate, you will get even less (both in food and value) by comparison, because they simply throw a few tablespoons of that 3rd entry in there for good "measure".. OH, at nearly a $1.50 more.. On my last visit, I got "take-out", of a 2 entry plate with chow mien. When I got home i was so disappointed that I thought to measure the amounts I was served. BOTH entries were less than 1/2 a cup by volume and the chow mien was a sparse cup. That's NOT much food, given the typical amounts other Chinese Places serve. MOSTLY NEGATIVE REVIEW BUT.. I do LIKE the food quality. For "fast Chinese food" it is good to me, and fresh. The "value" is just not there anymore. The bottom line is: I simply will not eat there very often anymore. I've gone from eating there once a week, to once a month, and might just give up all together.. unless they change their business model. IF you decide to eat at Panda Express consider the following: TIP: Don't buy the 3-entry plate. You will get Less Food (and value) by comparison as a result of their sales and portioning practices. ANOTHER TIP: Eat In. Don't expect the full plate of food that other Chinese Places serve, but you will do better (more food quantity) if you eat-in vs. take-out. At least if you are eating in, you can complain when you get a minuscule portion of each entry'. This review is based on several visits to these stores. I have NO "ax to grind" with Panda Express, other than how they've decided to run their business. We don't usually have Chinese take-out, but when we do it's at Panda Express. The food is well-portioned at a fair price, and it taste fresher than Panda Palace. The tables are usually clean and the staff always seems happy. This place is perfect if you're in a hurry (they have a drive-thru), but if you have some time I also recommend China One just down the road. They have a wider variety and everything is made to order. It is a little pricier though. read more

The food was ok. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and string bean chicken with half brown rice and half vegetables. My wife ordered the orange chicken and walnut shrimp with the fried rice. The vegetables were a bit soggy and they forgot to put on the side the teriyaki sauce for the chicken. String bean chicken was pretty good. Walnut shrimp tasted pretty good. Orange chicken was a bit dry. We also got chow mein on the side and that was a bit bland. The reason why they get three stars instead of two was the super super speedy drive through service. I'm not one to complain but this by far has go to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Panda Express. We were a group of four. My brother and his girlfriend ordered before us and they weren't offered a sample neither did my girlfriend or myself get an offer to sample something. They didn't make us feel welcome and I know that Panda Express supposedly stands for making guests happy which is not the case in our experience today. The manager obviously does not know how to run her store because her employees were rude, they didn't smile, they didn't fully give eye contact and it seemed like they didn't want to serve us. I had a bad customer experience a few minutes ago I'm an Uber eats driver and I just got down to go into the diner n it took more than a minute for the lady to come to the window to assist me instead she's taking her time tlking with her co workers and when she told me only the drive through was open I went to the drive through and this rude lady kept speaking so fast wouldn't let me speak and I informed her I was Uber eats and she just said oh okay just drive o through and I been to this location before. This would be my daughters and my "teriyaki" chicken! We also asked for white rice. Sad part is it doesn't surprise me. They didn't give or offer us any soy or hot sauce. You know how Yelp works, well, here's my opinion. Awful! The reviews are accurate. Cheap, short change, wrong and slapped together, as if; it was a drive through? haha Maybe someone from corporate office should go there for dinner sometime and see for yourself. You also have to ask, is this own by Panda or is it franchise? Either way, they're still representing Panda Express and not in a good way.
