Spicy orange chicken and orange chicken with chow mein

Wanted Chinese so came to yelp and searched. Found this place and was not disappointed. It's a little hole in the wall but food was delicious. It was fresh when me and my husband arrived and they had brought out more food while we were there. Place was a bit packed for being small. Portions were huge! Pricing was very reasonable. We tried the bbq pork, teriyaki chicken, spicy orange chicken and regular orange chicken. The spicy chicken was not really spicy but still very tasty. My favorite was definitely the teriyaki chicken. We tried the egg rolls which were good but a bit oily. We just dried them a bit with napkins. Beef broccoli was spot on! Loved it. Rice was great and the noodles were perfect. Not soggy or anything. Overall we found a Chinese place we really like. We will be back again. Thank you!

Spicy Orange Chicken and Steamed Rice

Really sweet family running this place. They gave amazing service and the place had such a cozy and nostalgic feel, like the quintessential Chinese takeout place. The food was also amazing. Great portions for the price and amazing taste. Their orange chicken is the best I've had in recent memory and their cream cheese wontons are perfect. I'll have to come here more often.

Before running errands, kiddo wanted to grab some lunch and wanted a quick spot to grab some Chinese food. Searched and thought we'd check out Hong Kong Express. Hong Kong Express is a nice little mom-and-pop type of spot in a strip mall around the corner from where Stater Bros. is located., Upon entering, we were quickly greeted by a woman, who I'm guessing is one of the owners of this restaurant. Straight ahead you can see the various types of food that's made and you pick whatever combination you'd like. My daughter and I both picked combo C, which lets you pick 3 different entrees that come with chow mein and fried rice. My daughter picked spicy orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and their teriyaki chicken while I picked their regular orange chicken, BBQ pork, and sweet and sour chicken. Combo C is about $10 which is quite reasonable as their portions are quite generous! Other than our combos, we also ordered their crab and cream cheese wontons. Everything was made fresh, the food was filling and tasty and my daughter was asking already when we'd be back. The owner was incredibly nice and it was nice having a conversation with her about our kids. A nice family establishment with good prices? That's definitely a plus! We shall be back when in the area.

    Bbq pork 9.2 / spicy orange chicken 7.9 / chicken curry 4.5 / black pepper pork ribs 5.6 --- outta 10.

Typical grab and go Chinese spot. Hard to find a good one out here. They're Stingy with the servings. the bbq pork is the best thing on their menu. Bbq pork 9.2 / spicy orange chicken 7.4 / chicken curry 4.5 / black pepper pork ribs 5.6 --- outta 10.

Soda machine is filthy. I doubt they regularly clean it. Imagine people getting drinks, the nozzles have build ups. Just gross.

We come here about twice a month. The food is good and so is the service. We moved to Murrieta 8 years ago and we are regulars.

My Daughter suggested Chef K due to their 4+ star rating, even though she had never eaten there before. Hidden in an outdoor mall it just looks like a glass front suite, but enter the doors and the interior is beautiful and clean with comfy upholstered booths and chairs. The young server greeted us with a strong Asian accent and took us to our seats immediately. We were the only customers in the room which made me a little nervous, but is was 2pm on a Thursday after all. We were presented with a hardbound colorful book of their offerings... pretty cool. We ordered and were quickly presented with: Spicy Pepper Beef: A medium spice level with a savory dark soy sauce, bathing ultra tender beef slices, married with thin sliced jalapeño and diced red and green bell peppers. Unbelievably delicious. Walnut Honey Shrimp: Mega large butterflied prawns quickly fried with walnuts and sweet glaze, crispy and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Tangerine Chicken: Large delicate and tender chicken breast pieces deep fried in a fluffy batter and glazed with a perfectly sweet and tart tangerine sauce. Our meal came with individual bowls of perfectly cooked jasmine rice. Enough food to feed 3 hungry adults and still have leftovers. $63 Why 5 stars? Without a doubt, the best, cleanest tasting Chinese dishes I have ever experienced. More to come from this place I'm sure. If you are anywhere near Temecula, get off the freeway and reward yourself.

It's nowhere to be found in Elsinore where I live so I remembered to check ahead of time before stopping in Temecula. Found a few spots, but this was closest, so I ordered here. I placed the order online for takeout, so I can't comment on much of the dining in experience. But the restaurant was a decent size, the staff was attentive and the parking lot wasn't too busy. I usually like my mapo tofu with brown rice, which wasn't a choice here, but it was still enjoyable. I was a bit concerned that it was gonna be too hot for my liking, but when I got home and sat down to eat it, I was fine with it and whatever heat it contained. I love mapo tofu and wouldn't mind having them again if in the area, but would also like to see how they compare to other local spots.
